It’s a basic dry cleaners; nothing fancy inside they get the job done. Been going here for almost a year it seems and haven’t experienced any issues. Will continue to go due to closeness and affordability.

What a terrible experience. If you value your clothes, your time, or believe in customer service — don’t go here. They lost my clothes, the idiot behind the counter gave me an attitude when I was understandably upset, and then once my clothes were eventually found(after I had to search through all the clothes hanging up myself) he charged me full price with a snarky attitude. There are several cleaners in the area I would be more than happy to pay a higher price at than to ever come back here. Please support a business that actually cares about it’s customers.

I came here totally on convenience. Brought in my Theory dress, and Stella McCartney Blouse for a dry cleaning. They said 2 days, Everything was timely, service was good… When I came home and took my clothes out of the plastic, they smelled like poison. The products they use have a very strong chemical odor. I stopped in because it was convenient. I held two dresses in my hand and I said I want to get some stains out of these dresses. He didn’t even touch or look at the dresses or the stains. The guy answers a long ramble about how he can’t get stains out. I said«What? you can’t get stains out?» he said«I can’t guarantee I can get them out.» Mind you, he hasn’t even looked at the stains. I said, nevermind I am going somewhere else. I cannot believe a dry cleaner will not know how to get stains out or even take a look before saying, «I can’t get stains out.» Unbelievable. He should not be working and this place should not be in business. You go to a dry cleaners to get the stains out. What an idiot. One star for at least admitting he is an idiot and not ruining my dresses.

This dry cleaner is a joke and they have ruined my clothes on multiple occasions. I took a blouse there and it came back with 2 tiny red stars obviously made with a red permanent market. I went back in and the man working chuckled at me like I was crazy. Deciding to give them another chance, I took a dress(with NO stains, i checked before hand) in just to be cleaned. Today I received it back WITH blotches all over it. DON’T take anything you own to this place.

If I could allocate zero stars, I would. What a nightmare. Brought a lovely pair of pants in to be taken up(I am blessed with little old italian lady genes, and stand a staggering 5’0″, so basically all my pants need to be altered), on a Tuesday. After placing the pin in my pants several times(for some reason, the man who works there could not see how short I am, perhaps on account of his thick accent), finally a length was determined. After all, he is the«professional». On the receipt, it said to come in the next evening at 5pm. He even made a point of informing me the closing time, at 630pm. So, the next day, my fiancée and I went in and were told, «Remember, I told you two days for alteration.» Fine. So my fiancée offered to pick them up the next night on his way home from work. Two days later I manage to get around to trying them on, and it is a chop job, and way too long, basically as long as when I brought them in in the first place. So I called. He said, «bring them on Tuesday,» which is four days out, because it is a holiday weekend. This was when I began to get upset. I explained that the pants were intended for an out-of-town trip, and I would not be in town then. I asked if I could bring them in immediately and he said OK. I then said I didn’t expect to pay for the same service, he said he was not arguing about payment. I said thank you, and left immediately for the store. I arrived and showed him the garment, and explained what was wrong. After all that, he determined that I needed to have the«ALTERATION» ticket that«the woman»(as he called her) had placed on the garment, which of course I had torn off as I was trying them on at home. He insisted I retrieve this tag, or he would lose money having her redo the pants. I asked why he hadn’t informed me of this during our phone conversation. This is also not a policy on the back of the receipt. Overall, terrible communication by the owner, who also allowed a shoddy alteration job to get back to the customer. I will not patronize this location again, and will not be fooled twice.

Kirby cleaners should be given credit for being very conveniently located. However the applause should end right there. I started going here a few months ago and things were fine. The prices were on the higher side of things but i guessed the location gave them that advantage. It was when I decided to give them my pants for alteration that trouble started. They charged me $ 20 for the alteration and when I went back home I decided to look at the work done. It was the most shoddy job I had ever seen. Not only were the pants not wearable but beyond repair by anyone else. The tiny hole had turned into a massive sewed on patch visible to the world. The worst part was when I decided to go back in the store to ask the guy at the front desk to see what had happened. He simply refused to acknowledge any wrong doing and instead of apologizing decided it was a good idea to say ’ Oh! that’s how its done’. Did not reimburse me my $ 20 but asked me to leave the shop. Please beware of this place and take your clothes somewhere where they will treat a customer well.

This cleaners are at a convenient location Kirby@Holcombe. .. and maybe that’s why the prices seem to be higher than usual for a dry cleaner. I know that these prices are«competitive» for the area… Maybe, but if I must pay a premium for hemming a pair of pants, I don’t expect to have to go back because they made a mistake and have to pay for it AGAIN!
