History

Established in 2005.

Kiran’s, a stunningly designed restaurant at 4100 Westheimer at Mid Lane, just west of Highland Village, officially opened its doors in 2005. The menu is greatly influenced by the Mughlai style of northern India. But in time Chef Kiran’s own tastes and techniques have evolved and personalized the dishes, fusing French and American influences and exploring new combinations of spices, herbs and other ingredients. Kiran’s features house specialties such as sea bass, lobster and rack of lamb and an array of the Chef’s own light and flavorful fruit chutneys and sauces. Other dishes include magnificently flavored soups, chicken dishes and vegetable creations, which are reflective of true home-style cooking prized by native Indians seeking childhood comforts. Chef Kiran has also taken an unprecedented step for the cuisine in creating a wine collection of over 400 lables, all carefully chosen to complement the myriad of flavors and complexities of Indian food. Come ready to be pampered.
