Mr. Morris’s practice is focused on probate, guardianship and estates, probate and fiduciary litigation and other general litigation. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of probate and guardianship, debtor and creditor rights and other consumer related issues.
Mr. Morris represents individuals, small businesses and corporations in litigation matters and has tried cases to verdict in such representation. He has been appointed by Harris county and dozens of other counties in Texas to serve in a fiduciary capacity as Ad Litem, Administrator and Guardian. He serves as a Guardian for elderly and incapacitated individuals who need assistance with their finances. His duties as an administrator include accounting for and safeguarding the assets of a decedent’s estate, distributions to creditors, finding family members that may be heirs or have an interest in the estate and winding up the estate.

Mr. Morris received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Texas A&M University in 1997 and his J.D. in 2001 from the University of Houston Law Center. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2001 and is also admitted to all of the Federal and Bankruptcy Courts in Texas. He is an active member of the National Guardianship Association, the National College of Probate Judges, the Texas Guardianship Association, the Houston Bar Association, Houston Association of Debtors Attorneys, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and former member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
