I have attended this Jazzercise for about 10 years. The program is very well run; classes start and end on time, and I cannot remember ever showing up for a class and not having an instructor. I like the varied time options for when work throws my regular routine out of whack, and I appreciate the one-stop-shop for my fitness needs. The class includes a warm up, cardio, stretch and strength training. Each class covers each group of muscles, with instructors varying routines each week to keep your muscles moving in different ways. The music is varied but upbeat. Staff is warm. Attendees are friendly. Great value too.

Wow, my thighs burn! I took my first Jazzercise class today(thanks to Groupon) and realized how my usual workouts aren’t enough to keep up with this Jazzercise class! It was like high powered Wii dance game but with an instructor and 60 minutes long. I definitely plan to finish off my groupon and consider a membership because… wow. I needed this burn.

What a great exercise program!!! It says a lot that it has been around since the 80’s if not before. It is designed so that anyone and everyone can do it. The instructor always shows you and tells you the high and low impact so you can alter the entire workout or just portions of it to tailor to your needs!!! The music is awesome and up to date!!! All of the instructors are super friendly as are all of the ladies that come here to workout and the facility is top notch, top of the line!!! I just want to keep coming back!!! Thank you Jazzercise of West U!!!

This is the third exrcise place I review. I guess since I am eating healthy I am not reviewing as many restaurants anymore. Maybe I will turn my focus to exercise places! West University Jazzercise is top flight all the way. The classes are held in a beautiful building. It is like a health club supported by the community(which appears to be pretty affluent) and the lady that runs jazzercise rents from them. Too bad we can only get in for jazzercise! I love their pool but I have to settle for seeing it from the outside. The good thing is when you sign up for jazzercise here you get to work out in a great place with wonderful instructors and a great bunch of ladies! I come from a fairly friendly city. But I was blown by the kindness and the welcome I received when I worked out here. After the workout, three ladies walked up to me and welcomed me and told me how happy they were to see me. They invited me to keep coming. The owner and her budding instructor approached me after that to ascertain my needs and to welcome me as well. Can you believe? What a great bunch of people. It almost makes me wish I lived there. OK… underline«almost» because I love my New Orleans. I must warn you about one little thing. Be ready to work your butt off. If you take a class with the owner she will give you lots of feedback to make sure you are working as hard as you can… with the proper form, timing, and making sure you are pushing your limits. She is serious… and seriously built too I do not think there is an extra ounce of fat on her. Her musculature is impressive… as well as her warm personality.
