The whole story is I was driving to work at six am during the morning rush-​hour dead stop when out of nowhere near this horrible grinding noise yes right the middle of the beltway. This car was not moving any further.
I called the HCTRA number on the website and they have a tow truck there within five minutes so I may have only pissed off about 500,000 people. Sorry about that bye the way! Kevin with precise towing grab my Mustang and he towed it to this location which he highly recommended. I know what you’re saying right they probably have some collaboration but I don’t care as long as they do the job quickly for amount of money they quoted me and stand by their work.
Fred took my keys I signed off on I’m looking at the car and he told me he would call me later that day once they had a chance to get anything check it out see what was wrong. With the investigation you call me later that day to tell me that the driveshaft come loose in the bolts needed replacing. Ford would not sell replacement bolts without replacing the entire driveshaft. Fred gave me the options I decided to use his recommendation of replacing those bolts with steel bolts tapping them to fit. A $ 2500-​$ 3000 repair ended up at $ 250. I picked it up the next day happy happy ever since.
This rate. My one time trip there but I plan I’m going back for some suspension work soon and I will update then.
