iFLY Indoor Skydiving – Houston

Took my 6 year old son for his birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly from the second I walked in the door. My instructors name was Nick and he was very nice and patient with my son. There was also another guy named Michael who was very polite and got my son pumped up and ready to fly. They really made us feel comfortable for our first time being there! I would definitely get the high flyer option even if you are taking a little one. It was worth the extra 10 $ That was my sons favorite part! Will most definitely be returning soon!

My husband and I went here on a last second date night and it was such a great experience. The staff was so friendly and our instructor Jason was very helpful. I highly recommend this location! Also make sure you pay the extra $ 10.00 for the «fly high» experience. It’s worth it!

Loved this! I have been dying to try this out for a long time, but just hadn’t got to it. Today, I woke up and decided I’m going. I hopped in my car and called them on my way there. They booked my flight within a few minutes. When I arrived, I checked in on the lobby computer, then headed upstairs. Everyone I met was incredibly nice. It feels like you are hanging with friends. My instructor’s name was Tex — I loved him and his positive, easy-​going attitude. He had me watch the video, suit up, then we got into the air tunnel.
If you are on the fence about trying this, get off of it already and just go! You won’t be sorry. Can’t wait to go again!

So fun. SO FUN! I’m the most unathletic person on earth. Really. Horribly uncoordinated, typically physically awkward dork. But I’m also one of those that will rise any and every roller coaster. So this was right up my alley. So glad I went and did this with some more my neighbor girls. :)

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to iFly and it was so much fun! Everyone there seemed pretty cool, and our trainer Ben made all the difference! My boyfriend is scared of heights, so when we upgraded our package to spin to the top of the ceiling, he got a little nervous. Ben made him relax and have a blast, so much that he didn’t want to leave! I, on the other hand, am the «adrenaline junkie» and was super pumped until I slipped and couldn’t declaw myself from the floor. I was freaking out, but Ben managed to calm my nerves and help me enjoy my second go. Needless to say, Ben’s awesome for dealing with our little «fits» and we bought several more packages that we’ll definitely request him for. Hopefully no more slipping, so we can do real sky diving!!!

Had such a great time here! Our flight instructor, Ben, was so much fun and really clicked well with the group. It is pricey, but it’s something to experience at least once. Add the high fly for an extra $ 10, it’s worth it.

Visited here with my daughter and her friends for her 17^th birthday! They had a blast. Great experience for all! Shout out to Joe Perugini for being a wonderful and fun flight instructor.

Wish the flights lasted longer but it’s pretty cool! Cost per flight (per minute) is so high I may not become an expert but I may open a franchise!

Great place for some fun. Of course, it can get overwhelming if you are here to learn some new tricks. God instructors and friendly, welcoming place. I suggest to come here late in the evening because the traffic in Houston is terrible during the day. Good experience in this tunnel. Unfortunately they do not have special deals for returning customers.

This is a must for everyone!!! So glad we went early and got to watch everyone before hand.
Our instructor was Ann and she was friendly and made it easy for us.
Either go with a bigger group or go at different times if a couple so they can get pictures and videos for you. You can’t take your phone in when waiting for your flight.
Can’t wait to go back!

Tons of fun. Big thanks to Tex for taking care of my my boys, and giving them a great, memorable experience. I only have one complaint, and it’s with iFly corporate.
I bought the family package online, and took my 4 sons, ages 5 through 11. We checked in an hour ahead of time as requested, and I got annoyed that they chose that moment to let me know that I would have to pay extra for the high-​flying, which the website promotes without suggesting is a separate charge. I would have paid extra for it online, which would have saved me an unnecessary moment of expecting I was going to be nickeled and dimed further.
Once we met Tex, the instructor, all went smoothly, and my kids came away with the happy, thrilling, premium experience I had hoped for. Easily a 5^th star if not for the one hiccup.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a better experience at a place like this… EVER.
My son and I visited for the first time with a few friends on a Sunday evening. Check in was a breeze. Counter attendants were really nice and personable. After we got checked in, we decided to go for the high-​fly and paid the extra $ 10 per person.
After checking, we walked upstairs (they have an elevator) and was surprised to find there’s only one tube in that entire place. Considering the size of the building, we were expecting 2 or more but no biggie. It made for an intimate setting. Seating was comfortable and plentiful, set up around the tube and against the walls. The place is very clean and tastefully furnished.
Our training took place in a small room off the main area. Our instructor was Boo. This guy is mesmerizing. Yeah he’s cute but that’s not what I mean. His personality is ummmm, I can’t describe… magnetic? Instantly likable, very confident, funny, energetic, great eye contact. You could tell he’d been at this for a while but he was totally hyped about what he was doing. Shining example of someone that loves their job.
After training, we suited up. Boo explained what was to happen next. My group all flew — I did not. It was amazing to see humans flying through the air! With each session, the instructors put on a flying show. Those guys are INCREDIBLE! Definitely something to see.
My son struggled quite a bit and wasn’t able to get all of his flight time in. As we were closing out our visit, Boo spoke with the facility manager about him. I didn’t complain nor expect to be reimbursed for his flight. These type of places are usually at your own risk right? The manager, Vanessa, returned the $ 10 I paid for his high-​fly AND gave us a complementary visit for him to return and try again. I can’t express how touched I was by the gesture. My son has a life challenge and sometimes struggles with communicating. Boo was very sensitive to this. We had a full class so I understood why he couldn’t slow down for my son but he made sure we got the opportunity to come back.
This place has definitely earned a life-​long customer. Even aside from kind gesture, the service and experience were top-​notch!

AmaZing it was so much fun!!! Not badly priced either… Ryan was my flight instructor… a modern day Peter Pan! He was professional, funny, handsome and helpful w/​tips on improving and even gave a grade after the flight! Yes. I passed with an A!
I advise paying the extra $ 10 for the High Fly where your instructor takes you to the top ! Also be sure to Relax and pay attention to the hand signals because you can’t in the tunnel and your instructor uses the signals to help you have a fun and safe flight!

Our instructor was Michael. He was super funny and easy on the eyes ;). Went with a group of classmates because one of the girls got a discount through her job. It was the same discount as the $ 40 deal at the Costco next door.
We had a 2 hour wait but they let us leave so it that was awesome. We just had to be back 30 mins before our time slot to watch the video and learn the hand signals. Overall, it was 2 mins of flying time total, but it really convinced me that I NEED to do the real thing… I’m thinking sometime next year?! I’m ready! :D
*Wear covered shoes. I wore sandals (idk why– brain fart) but they did have shoes I could use for free*

Our iFLY experience was really good overall. They make it easy to make your appointment online, then once you get there you can check in and sign all your waivers electronically at the computers in the lobby.
Once you do that you can head upstairs and watch people fly while you wait for your training (if you’re a no0b like me). The basic training is pretty easy to understand: hand signals and body positioning mostly.
iFLY is definitely a unique experience — it would make a fun date, or somewhere interesting to take your out-​of-​town guests. The only things I didn’t necessarily enjoy about iFLY is first, the size of the parking lot (tiny). Second, the non-​discounted price is a little high for me, then I felt a bit nickel-​and-​dimed when I got there and they offered me the ‘high fly’ option. Even as a beginner, the whole experience would have been a little boring without the ‘high fly’ option (wherein they crank up the air on your 2^nd flight so you and the instructor go much higher up in the tunnel) so FOR SURE get it but just beware that it’s an extra $ 10pp.
Tip: If you’re a costco member they sell discounted vouchers there.

The following review is based on my individual experience and is my personal experience. Your experience may be completely different.
IMO as a non-​skydiver, it was a tad bit expensive but worth a try just to say you did it. You can get different packages, but I think you fly for at least a minute. It is harder than it looks. Don’t work out your arms before going, because you will feel it! I don’t think I would go again but am happy I tried. I wish they gave me more formation training outside of the wind tunnel.
Our instructor and all the staff were friendly and helpful. They have a very extensive waiver that you must sign otherwise you won’t be allowed to fly.
Also, they take a short video and a few photos of you that you can choose to purchase. But I would bring someone not flying with you to take videos/​photos.
Overall, I had a fun time.
