Sales department was professional and friendly. Did not have a issue with sales. They were willing to work with you. Service on the other hand isn’t very good. Wasn’t offered a loaner when I took my brand new car in for issues at around 5k miles. Was told a sensor failed which was causing my trac light to come on when braking in stop and go traffic. Light came back on as soon as I left the dealership. Took it back again at around 11k miles. Wasn’t very mad because I know sometimes diagnosing a vehicle can be hard. They told we it was the way I was driving and they wanted me to record how I drive. Isn’t that dangerous to do if the car is standard? How am I suppose to hold my phone and record my feet when the car has a manual transmission. Have owned many manual transmission cars and have not had a issue with them. Car will be returning for 3^rd time soon. Hopefully car is repaired this time or Honda will be contacted.

I took my Honda CRV here for a service because it was doing odd things when turning. They quoted me a $ 3K in repairs I needed!!! $ 1800 of the repair amount was what I took it in for. I told them that was a really high amount and wanted to get a second opinion so I then went to milstead automotive. They quoted $ 1200 in repairs over the phone based on what Honda Of Spring said was wrong, luckily the guys at milstead told me they could do another diagnostic if I wanted to but it was my choice, I said go ahead. IM SO GLAD I said yes because the repair that ABSOLUTELY needed to be done was only $ 500!!! They saved me $ 1300 in UNNECESSARY repairs on my car!!! THANKS TO YOU MILSTEAD and nothing to Honda. DO NOT go here for service on your car. Lucky they treated me so crappy, now I’ve got wonderful people at milstead to take care of me!

I went to look at a used car. I have never met a more unprofessional salesman in my life! His demeanor was somewhat aggressive and he oozed the stereotypical used car salesman factor. He had no manners. Sadly, my mother ended up crying when we left as she has gone through a tragedy losing her son a nasty person is the last thing she needed! The salesman needs to realize that there is more to life than just money and to treat people with courtesy and kindness and not with the thought of only not dollar signs! The entire experience was so energetically toxic that I showered the minute I got home!

I thought going into this I was going to be bombarded with information that I was not going to understand and I was going to end up signing something that made it seem like I payed no attention to what I was doing. Honestly Chad had an answer for everything, we did not feel pressured and it was probably one of the least stressful experiences I have ever had. I did not know buying a car could be that way. I wanted a car in a certain color on the outside and in the inside with a certain feature at a certain price and he made it happen. Buying a car is what it is but if I were to do the process again then Chad is the person I would recommend to do this with.

Ok spent a day here attempting to buy a car for my daughter. Of course we had all the back and forth about pricing. The sales guy Mr Torres was great. The sales manager not so great. I already had financing. As we were finalizing the sale look closely there is a sign in every finance office that states the document fee must be a reasonable charge agreed upon by parties involved. I inquired about this of course and no one could really explain what it meant. The finance guy stated they charge everyone a document fee. I get that but if the sign states it is to be agreed upon by both parties I’m led to believe it is negotiable. The finance guy calls the sales manager. The sales manager says I’m not coming to speak with them about it. Totally dismissed us after the sale was negotiated. We were not debating the $ 150 fee only wanted explanation of what was stated on the sign as «reasonable». Well we walked canceled the transaction. It’s all about principle and customer service. My money spends anywhere and I will not be disrespected, or disregarded. I do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other Honda dealerships in the sea.

SCAM ALERT !
Spring Honda will take apart your car no matter what you come in for to find things to scare you with. We went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They asked about doing the transmission at 30k miles which is NOT recommended by Honda Automotive. This dealer is not owned by Honda Cars.
The Service department is trained to scam you. They will show you things like your brakes or air filter or oil and SAY that something is wrong but they won’t cover it under warranty. It doesn’t matter if the car computer says the oil is fine or that the brakes feel and sound perfect.
This dealer drained the special lubricant from my Accord Hybrid against my knowledge and was unable to find the fluid in stock because the service team didn’t know that the Hybrid doesn’t have a transmission. The aggressively ignorant woman running the service department has no clue how cars work and thinks that a transmission is needed in electric motor cars like hybrids, Prius and Teslas.
If THEY find something wrong with your car, have them explain how and why, in writing and explain why it’s not covered by warranty.
Remember to call Honda Corporate if you have ANY bullying tactics or pressure from these people.

Tips that will save you some (but not all) headache:
TIP #1: when the service adviser tells you you need A, B, and C fixed, do not agree just yet. Call different Honda dealerships and ask for their prices. Yes, this could take a while but trust me. When you’re finally enlightened, then tell Honda of Spring why the heck are they charging so much for A, B, and C and that XYZ Honda is charging over $ 50 less. your service adviser should price match.
TIP #2: Making an appointment doesn’t really matter
TIP #3: Sam, the service adviser, is trust worthy
TIP #4: Be sure to check your fluids before leaving

I wanted to be overly precautious in keeping my hybrid in good shape, so I purchased the Honda Care extended warranty. I am so thankful to the Honda team!

Terrible dealership. I tried to purchase a car and they told me they needed 1000 down. I payed the 1000 and they put me in a car, I signed papers and left happy. Never heard anything back so I assumed everything was finished. When I went to go pick up my tags the finance director Neil Pratt told me I wasn’t going to get approved for the car I already signed for. They took me out of the car and left my family and I on the street to walk home. If you promise someone they are approved and a contract is signed you should stick to your word otherwise don’t tell people they are approved before you know they actually are. Also have something in writing that says I will not be getting my money back don’t assure me I will get it back and then not do it. If I wanted to rent a car I would have gone to enterprise. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this dealership.

Great Honda dealership. I made appointment with Mr. Lewis Byrd. He is very nice, honest, and straightforward. Customer is the king, and he knows it. Very relaxed experience to buy a car. Recommended!

I bought a car here and regularly get my car serviced here and every experience has been great!
The car buying experience was good considering it was the tedious process of buying a car. However we came in and knew what we wanted and had pre-​arranged a lot of it before arriving and we works with a very experienced salesman which made things nice.
We regularly get our car checkups and oil changes here and the team, especially Sam– he is awesome, does a very good job. They are all fast, polite and quite helpful.
All in all I do recommend using Honda of Spring (and I can’t say that about some of the Honda dealers in South Houston).

Excellent experience. Let’s be honest — no one enjoys buying cars, but we had the best experience here. We had agreed on an «out the door price» on a certain vehicle. We called our sales manager, Jason, to let him know that we’d be in that evening. Although he had left for the day, his colleague, Asif (also off for the day), met us and showed us the exact car and honored the agreed upon price.
It was a much more relaxing experience than Honda of Katy (see post by me) and the atmosphere felt calm and stable. Asif showed us the car, confirmed all of the details, and offered financing options in a non-​pushy way. Then, Sean, his colleague in finance, walked us through options and helped us make an informed decision.
The dealership and its people made the experience as good as it gets for a car buying experience. It’s similar to a trip to the dentist, but both can be positive if it’s not painful. Special thanks to Asif, Jason, and Sean! We will certainly remain loyal customers and spread the good word. Great work!

The receptionist were great. The rest of the team was cold and distant. This is my second trip to the repair dept and I don’t think I will continue coming to this dealership. One associate gets your information, then you never here from them for hours. If you talk to anyone else, or go back to that associate to inquire about YOUR vehicle that you are spending MONEY on they respond as if you are bothering them. I was given charges before i even told this guy the full problem. My associate walked passed me several times and didnt even give a slight smirk… which goes a long way in customer service… maybe there is no training here or they are unhappy with their jobs. Further more when i finally talked to my associate, they brought me a list of everything else that was wrong with my car EXCEPT what i came for… Forgive me if I expect customer service from a customer service dept. Since I won’t be able to reply to the Honda Rep… Don’t bother giving me any contact information or excuse about why today went wrong… I can’t trust that it comes from a genuine place nor can you control the incompetency and dishonesty that is running wild in your building. Forget buying a New Vehicle from here.

Awesome dealership. Great customer service all around. Lewis and Sean led me through the deal step-​by-​step and it was as transparent as a a car purchase could possibly be. No hidden fees, no charges that «accidentally» pop-​in during contract signing (like those you see at many other dealerships), no problems whatsoever. Extremely satisfied with everything and will definitely recommend it to the others.

Came here with a friend. Pre-​negotiated price was honored and everything was done in a timely manner. The general manager, Chuck, was such a delight. His sense of humor and hospitality cannot be matched. The recepionist, Christie, made us feel at home and was very polite. Great car buying experience and plenty of lounging space incase you have to wait.

Service here is always great! I like the upfront pricing and the honesty. Even if it’s more than i want to spend, they still let you know so you’re not blind sided at checkout! That’s one of the main reasons i continue to bring my Honda here. Great buying experience and continued great customer service!

Another horrible experience! I came here on Saturday, December 27 and it was cold and drizzling. This was my 3^rd car dealership that I went to. I was looking at a Honda Accord or Civic. I approached the customer service desk and asked for a salesperson because I wanted to buy a car. The salesman had few sheets of paper and asked how much I wanted to spend. There was no, «let’s sit at my desk or let’s go outside and look at a car or anything». He was basically no help at all. I told him what I wanted and he was like oh, we don’t have that or just pointed out on the sheets of paper. I told him that obviously you didn’t want to sell me a car today so I left. So yes, another unsatisfying customer that you basically lost business too.

Just bought another Honda Element. Our sales rep was Ivan Fedko. We were pre-​approved for a certain APR, so we drove from Austin to Spring, TX to pick up the car. Then when all is said and done, the APR was higher on the paperwork. Classic bait and switch experience. The discrepancy was not enormous, but I would not deal with this dealership in the future. It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

The service department is awesome! I used the express lane for my oil change and was in and out in less than 30 minutes! The service tech came out and explained everything they did and also recommend other services. However, there was absolutely NO pressure to have any of it done there. Good Job!

My concerns:
They tried to sell me an 8 year extended warranty for $ 1999. We negotiated it down to $ 1899, then $ 1845, and they said that it would include a 3 year oil-​change warranty as well at no extra price.
When I reviewed the contract before signing it (a process that took well over the 45 min. budgeted for paperwork — so consumers please plan to have a non-​rushed and extended amount of time to sign contracts, which may entail a return trip to the dealership another day if it is close to closing), what we had negotiated was not written there! OOOPSy. The seller claimed this was an honest mistake… Instead of an 8 year warranty plus a 3 year oil-​change, the contract only had the version of the 8 year warranty, but for a period of 7 years instead of 8. No oil change as we had discussed. I would like to spread the word to future consumers to please read your contracts VERY carefully to be sure that everything you discuss with a sales representative is actually on the contract.
They also tried to get me to sign an arbitration agreement waiving my rights to any legal action against them. I refused, and was able to buy the car anyway. If they are doing honest business, why would I need to waive my legal rights? No way.
Lastly — in my opinion every car I test drove had a “new car“ smell that stunk to high heaven, and my eyes and the lining of my nose burned when I was inside the car. I complained about this on two trips to the dealership before I ended up walking off the lot with a new Honda Civic for $ 18,150 (including tax, title, license). Unfortunately, and despite my complaints on prior visits concerning the new car smell, they did not disclose until the contract signing that all the cars have been treated with “Luxcare“ product ON THE INTERIOR. This was a contract that I was told I had to sign regarding a service agreement with Luxcare and a disclosure that the car had been treated with Luxcare. While I selected a Honda Civic in part because of the low amount of off-​gassing reported here (

), I am concerned about possible additional chemicals in the Luxcare product, which I currently do not have information on. I was told I had no option but to buy a car from Honda of Spring with that product. I asked for a product data safety sheet on the Luxcare product before the sale, and was told they did not have one. When I find out more about the product, I will let you know.
