Pleasantly surprised by my most recent stay. First off, this is not a ‘luxury hotel’ but if you are looking for a decent/inexpensive place to stay in Houston and want to be within walking distance of the Galleria, I would recommend this above the other local area motels/inns. I’ve stayed at the Extended Stay down the street and it was awful. This hotel is definitely much better, cleaner, and more pleasant. For the price(I paid around $ 60 a night), it is hard to beat. The rooms are quite spacious and you have a kitchen if you are a business traveler.

I recently stayed here on a 30 day plan for a rate with my 2 dogs when I relocated to Houston. This is the perfect place to stay while looking for a permanent place to live. Very helpful staff and excellent location and pet friendly. Would recommend it esp. for a long term stay.

These are never amazing hotels. Even calling them hotels is sometimes a stretch, but the one thing they do well is provide a decent place to sleep and usually a low as hell rate. In this case I was staying in downtown Houston for less than 100/day which is amazing compared to the other hotels in the area. You can walk to the Sheraton next door and enjoy a nice meal at the Omaha Steak restaurant. There’s also the Galleria mall nearby(also within walking distance). All in all, the location is fantastic. It’s not somewhere you stay for a ritzy experience. It is purely a low cost alternative in a great area.
