Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston Nw Beltway 8-West Road

We checked in super late on XMas night, got a good rate for a 2 queen bed suite, and was greeted with a lovely room!
It was FUGGY as hell, a mix of the f word & muggy, so we just figd it’d take a while for the room to cool down… only to be woken up at 7am to an 82 degree room. Omfg it was hot! We called room service and John was able to move us a few doors down and gave us 50% off. Instant relief!
I slept in, so I didn’t indulge in the breakfast. But, my husband and sons did and they enjoyed the bacon, pancakes, cereal to the fullest.
I’d totally stay here again!

New, clean, all the modern amenities, nice complimentary breakfast, free wifi, excellent service and staff.
The room had a medium-​size refrigerator and microwave. The work desk had plenty of outlets on it. Kiddos bed had an outlet on the wall for him to charge his phone too.
The Internet worked great for us. We were able to hook up his Xbox to the TV and Internet and it played just fine on Xbox live games. No problem downloading work, or videos, to the iPads.

Nice hotel. New, clean and hot breakfast (although self serve pre-​made eggs, but decent). tiny pool. Stayed two nights. Great bed and immaculate room.

The 4 stars is mainly because of the front desk. They were very friendly and was able to accommodated to my special needs in needing to checking in late not to cancel my reservation as well as allowing a late check out for me. They understood I came in late so housekeeping and front desk did not call me to wake me. My favorite part of the stay was that they had an extra pillow/​blanket set in the closet. So I was able to use the extra down comforter on top of my sheets since I am always cold in the room. I can see how that can come in handy for guests that have multiple people in the room. The room did have a sink by microwave and fridge. Big size room. No outlets by bed so I couldnt charge my phone either by the bed.
The down side is this place is that the internet is also super slow. I was able to connect and stay connected but I was only able to browse sites and not watch any Hulu shows! :(Another down side is that this place is a bit pricier compared to other holiday inns but the room is clean and I was content with my stay.
