Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston Northwest-Brookhollow

When I walked in and saw HOW CLEAN everything was at this hotel I was delighted! I recently got stuck staying in a dingy hotel on a business trip so I was very relieved that I’d made a better choice this time.
I don’t know how long this Holiday Inn has been open but it definitely feels new and still has that fresh fixtures smell. My room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I thought the pillows embroidered «soft» and «firm» were a nice touch. They provide Bath & Body Works toiletries and a Keurig for your morning coffee. Little things like that just feel good.
The breakfast area is nice and they have a decent spread of food options. I had eggs and toast. They have one of those magic pancake machines that I totally would have used if I wasn’t on a diet.
This Holiday Inn will be my first choice on any business trips I have to that side of Houston.

Everything was great about our stay. The rooms were very clean and well equipped for our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Becky and Charles went out of their way to make our stay great. The bathrooms were very clean, and the complementary breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again…

There are so many things to say great about this location that I don’t know where to start. Clean, great service, new technology, comfortable environment, great atmosphere, attentive housekeeping, nice laundry facilities, etc, etc, etc. As a Priority Platinum member this is by far the best facility I have stayed. Its fairly new so you get the feel of new hotel technologies, but when you mix that with top notch customer service… it becomes a GREAT EXPERIENCE. If you are traveling to this area, this is a must stay! I will be back!

Came down to Houston for a mini-​vacay to getaway for the weekend. This HIE is brand new and modern; not to mention, also safe due to the close vicinity of the FBI building (I would assume).
Front desk receptionist, Danya, was very friendly and hospitable. Check-​in was a breeze. The following may be important for IHG Club Rewards members from my stay here:
— No verbal greeting upon check-​in for being a Club member
— No Club Rewards swag bag this visit :(I did try to test another receptionist by asking for a toiletry kit, but he seemed very stingy giving out anything. All he had was a toothbrush and no toothpaste left.
Our room was very clean and spacious. The AC was quiet enough that it didn’t disturb our sleep, and you can control the temperature settings by the wall-​mounted thermostat. Wi-​Fi was pretty laggy with our room located on the 2^nd floor. The king-​sized bed was semi-​firm and comfortable. The pillows were either too soft or really lumpy, but that could just be my opinion because I’m picky.
My only complaint about my stay here was that a very large crowd of teenagers were blocking the hallway to the rooms on the first floor either by sitting on the floor or just standing around. They were making a lot of noise right by the front desk reception and the employees didn’t seem to mind. Luckily, my room was on the 2^nd floor.
Overall, I would stay here again if I’m in Houston due to this hotel being brand new.

Talk about an awesome hotel stay. The room was HUGE. The guy at check in told me the hotel was brand spanking new and boy can you tell! Everything has a sleek modern feel but homey too. On the bed they had firm and soft pillows so you can pick which one you prefer. The linens on the bed provided me with a restful sleep. I seriously enjoyed by stay and will be back soon.
