This isn’t a regular stop for me but I heard this location had opened near work so I stopped by to check it out. I was surprised at the size of the store, a bit larger than I had expected. I don’t know if the music is always that loud or if I’m just getting old but I thought it was too much. Could be I’m just getting old… it was after work aaand it also didn’t take long before my feet were hurting also . I found some good deals and as I began to get an arm load, I noticed that none of the sales people even looked my way. I wanted to ask if they had shopping bags but there was a line at the register so I bypassed the seemingly uninterested employees on the floor and asked at the fitting room. The guy grabs a mesh bag and helps me put the clothes inside. Thanks. After looking around a little more, I went to try some things on. The fitting rooms were so dusty and grungy. I don’t mean some lint or a tag that fell off a shirt. I mean like no one had come through there to clean in a month! Pick up a f#*&ing broom somebody! When I worked in retail we had minimal duties to at least empty garbage cans and such. Ugh!

I love this H & M. All the employees were nice and helpful, especially in the dressing rooms. The guy at the counter when I was checking out was nice and patient with me. The place was busy on a Sunday. There is always a line when you are waiting for a dressing room but the line moves fast. This is one of my favorite places to shop. There were lots of sales, I love it!

Horrible service. The employees walk around acting like they’re working, but nothing was being accomplished. None of them wanted to help any of the customers. I had a item that I needed to exchange that I had purchased at another location ten days before. I had the receipt. I waited for ten minutes for the only cashier, who told me to go and get another of the same item. I went back into the store to find it, but this store didn’t have any. I went back to the checkout to see the cashier again. I waited another ten minutes. I was helped by a different cashier. I showed her the defective item and receipt. She said that they I couldn’t return the item because I had worn it. The item was a bracelet with a magnetic clasp. One of the magnets had become unglued or unsoldered, but there was no damage to it. She said that they can’t take back anything that they can’t resell. She suggested that I call their customer service line if I didn’t like the policy. I went outside and called immediately. Their corporate customer service representative told me the same thing. She said that I could have snagged the bracelet on something and caused the damage, and that they don’t take back anything once it’s been worn. On the back of the receipt it does say that merchandise must be returned in the original salable condition, but that’s in the paragraph about final clearance merchandise. So, beware. If you spend, say, $ 150 buying a jacket and the zipper breaks on the next day, they won’t touch it. They seem to be under the impression that their merchandise is defect-free and will blame you for anything that happens. It’s just not worth it.
