Lupita, Trynette, Paoala, and Elizabeth are the best. Great service every time I drop off my clothes. I would not go anywhere else.

I went there cause I saw good reviews but got disappointed. There are plenty of other shops will offer more customer care at much cheaper than here.

Tried this laundry out for dry cleaning and they did a great job. This establishment is tucked away on Gaustark, near the University of St. Thomas campus. Parking is easy but can be packed due to the coffee shop next store. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the price. I had a pair of slacks and a polo dry cleaned and it cost about $ 8… I usually get a few shirts and a couple pair of pants dry cleaned for that priced in the Heights. May try them again in the future but i’ll go elsewhere to try some other places first. I can’t comment on their laundry services but they seemed pretty busy, which means people like them!

I dread the trip to the laundromat. Not just because I feel «icky» using the same machines as everyone else (and potentially their dog). I also don’t like the way my pocket starts weighing less and less as the machines swallow my quarters…
BUT, this place was alright. It’s a bit smaller than other laundromats I’ve crawled into, but if you go at the right time you won’t have to fight anyone for a machine. I enjoyed the fact that there were large expensive washers, and then the cheaper smaller machines that I prefer. Even if you spread out your clothes over multiple smaller machines, still cheaper and they do a fine job with the wash. Also liked the control that the quarter-​by-​quarter dryer gave me.
I haven’t ventured into the wash-​and-​fold drop off deal, but that’s just my cheap side that thinks waiting there is worth the money I would otherwise lose.

I use their wash and fold twice a month. They are awesome. I can drop off at 5 one day and pick it up the next day. No time has my bill been above 30 and my bag is huge. They hang up any clothes that look like they could or should be hung. They are overly nice and willing to help. They also will just hang up delicate items and not dry them. Will continue going there!!!

Always has a machine available. It’s clean. It’s COMFORTABLE. There’s a great coffee shop next door with free wi fi. Also it’s close to my house

Graustark laundry is the answer to my stressed out mommy prayers. Although I don’t use their services regularly (I should), when my home is in need of laundry cleansing I am relieved to know that there is a laundry savior that is Graustark Laundry. They have the cheapest rates that I’ve found in town and they do a fantabulous job. I consider the two Hispanic ladies my fairy laundry mothers. Everything is clean clean clean and folded to perfection. Honestly I wouldn’t know what my sanity would do without this place. My typical run usually involves dropping off two Ikea sized bags, saying adiós mis ropas!, and skipping happily to get my cappucino fix at the Black Hole café next door.

Great service for shirts. Just picked mine freshly made on wire hangers with a twist. Parking can be rough though I do not mind walking in this neighborhood, calm and good amount of share, no need for shades. Looks good to run/​bike/​walk around. Already making plans to return. And If you are low on energy, coffee is just a few steps away.

Even during peak hours (weekend nights) I’ve always found free washers and dryers. The drop off service is efficient and worth the extra cash if you’re strapped for time. Clothes come back to you neatly folded, sorted and smelling like a cozy room.

Super Confused staff and they do not have a clue of what they tell their customer! Also communication is a big problem. Dry cleaning is more expensive than any other laundry place nearby. I am not coming back.

The ladies that work here don’t let you use any of the dryers. They are inconvenienced by getting quarters for you. And they can’t say «you’re welcome» to save their lives. I will not be back. I tried several times and this is always the story. Just go somewhere else.

Friendly staff, quick service and clean clothes! What more can you ask for?
I only do my laundry a couple times a month and it’s usually around $ 40. The amount that I take fills up a huge laundry bag and for another cleaner the price would be $ 55 for the same bag of laundry. This is for the wash and fold/​hang-​up service.

Well, «cramped» is the perfect way to describe this joint. I came in on a Monday around 10:30am and its pretty darn full. There’s a few washers and dryers that are out of order, which makes things even more tight. There’s only about 6 chairs for anyone to sit down, plus 1 small bench outside. Parking is super tight.
Yeah, I’ll go back to the dilapidated, yet more spacious D&S on Westheimer.

The best thing Graustark Laundry has going for them is location: they’re next door to Black Hole, so you can grab a cuppa joe and use their wifi while waiting for your stuff to finish. The laundromat is tiny, though; there are only a couple of places to sit and it seems like half the machines are set aside for their wash and fold service. Parking lot also leaves something to be desired, so I would definitely recommend against going at busy times (like weekends).
I was able to wash and dry a monster king comforter for about $ 6 using the triple load washer (which was $ 4/​load), so I’m pretty satisfied. Will probably return next time I need to wash blankets or large items.

Don’t go on Sunday mornings. Today I had to wait 45 minutes for a drier, even though three were on hold for wash and fold and not in use the whole time. In total 5 driers were not available because of wash and fold. The lady behind the counter didn’t care.

Graustark Laundry is without a doubt one of the best full service laundry/​dry cleaner in town. I have been a customer for over 6 months and use their services weekly without any challenges. Same day and next day service available. Clothes always neatly folded and bagged. Shirts, slacks, jeans and shorts always hung neatly on hangers and then bagged. What more could one ask for. Professional, friendly, accurate services. I highly recommend them.

After having used Graustark Laundry for the past 7 months with several small easily resolved hiccups, we finally hit the bump in the road. I sent over a fine lambs wool king size blanket to be cleaned. The blanket was less than 6 months old and just needed to be freshened up. Blanket ended up getting washed in HOT water and then dried. Thus transforming the blanket into something that would barely fit a twin size bed. After speaking with the owner (Al) regarding the issue, I asked if he would have the blanket re-​blocked. I asked this as an alternative to replacement so as minimize the impact to his business due to the cost of the blanket. However, Al later informed me that the damage was far beyond blocking.
Al assured me that he would make this matter right and offered to issue a check for the replacement of the blanket. I am ever so appreciative of his generosity. However, when I received the check in the mail it was accompanied by a letter expressing that my laundry was of a finer quality than they are used to dealing with. With that being said, at this point Graustark Laundry would NO LONGER be able to accept any more laundry from me because his employees were uncomfortable in handling it. The letter further went on to mention that all damaged items were deducted from the responsible employee’s pay.
I went back and reviewed emails dated only two weeks prior to the letter to and from Al discussing this matter and he mentions how much he appreciates my business and my being a loyal customer. He further mentions how he would hate for this incident to tarnish our relationship. Somehow in the time frame of several weeks something changed and he felt the need to terminate our relationship.
If Al had just come to me and discussed the matter further I feel confident that we could have come to a mutual agreement. I valued the services and convenience received from his laundry more than the $ 300 blanket.
I considered myself to be a loyal and reasonable customer providing Graustark with a monthly average of $ 500 in business. This whole ordeal is disturbing and disappointing. Hopefully, this is an isolated experience and existing as well as future customers will not experience the same unfortunate incident.

Love this laundrymat and use it when in Houston. The staff is very friendly and the machines are dependable and clean. They can provide change and detergent. The Black Hole coffee shop next door is another plus — coffee drinks, pastries, cookies, free Wi-​Fi, and comfotable seating while you wait. The combination is a big hit for me.

We’ve been here a couple of times for dry cleaning and they’re just bad. Poor quality of ironing with wrinkles and folds so deep and bad that you can’t even wear them so you spend time back at home to redo them.
They actually gave me back a shirt that wasnt even mine — which I only detected a week after. When I drove back to drop off the shirt, I only got a nasty comment on why it took me a week to come back to return a shirt that wasn’t mine. No excuse or anything. Overall not friendly or good quality service. Only pro about this place is a nice coffee house next door!

Such a wonderful little neighborhood laundromat/​wash-​and-​fold. …Meaning you can DIY or just drop it off. I’ve been here twice already, and both times I’ve left beyond satisfied.
I bring my black linens here, the ones that many of you Unilocalers see at my rockin’ Unilocal events. I drop them off (15 to 20 of ‘em), the friendly señorita hands me a ticket, and I pick them up the next day; I also pay upon pickup. AND, she’s given me a 20% discount just ’cause. Definitely not necessary since Graustark Laundry is mind-​blowing affordable, but I did appreciate it. (I think my 20 linens came to about $ 50.)
The older lady prefers to speak Spanish, but both times I’ve been there her son was there to assist with other customers. And they have two ADORABLE English Bulldogs onsite, just hanging out being cute. Gotta respect animal-​lovin’ people.
If you decide to do your own laundry, you can kill time by hanging out next door at Black Hole Coffee.
