Good Elves Handyman Service

I purchased a voucher from a daily deal website for this cleaning service. The deal was for four hours of top-​to-​bottom cleaning. Since I had an apartment that was less than 1000 sq. ft., it would be good and thorough and they would get all the places, I didn’t want to. LOL
When the deal was published, I purchased it and I attempted to schedule my appointment almost immediately. When I called to set up an appointment, I was instructed by Betty M. (the owner, I assume) to email to my desired date and time. I scheduled the service for two days before my event to accommodate my schedule. Since the appointment was set a month in advance of the day I needed the services completed, I thought I was in good standing with nothing to worry about.
I called a few days before my appointment to confirm things and I was assured that there would be no problem completing the scheduled service. However, on the morning of my appointment, they showed up 3 hours early. At the time, I was running errands and I wasn’t at home. I asked for them to return at the appointed time and she said OK. No one showed at 1:00 pm and I called the owner of the company. She indicated that the person scheduled to clean my home wouldn’t be available until at least 4pm that day. I told her that this time wouldn’t work for me and asked that she have someone come back at 7:00am the following morning. I was assured that this wouldn’t be an issue. Once again, no one showed up and the owner was apologetic and asked what she could do to help me. I told her that the cleaning services were for an annual Mother’s Day party the following day and I needed to have the cleaning done ASAP. Unfortunately, I had plans for the rest of Saturday and I reluctantly agreed to an appointment Mother’s Day morning at 9:00 am for a «two hour quick clean». They showed up, completed the service (while dodging me while I was prepping food/​décor) and left pretty quickly. I did tip the workers but, that was only because it was a Sunday morning, they did a decent job and I didn’t want to stiff them b/​c of their boss’ failures.
The owner told me that because of the constant no-​shows and rescheduled appointments, the Sunday morning appointment would be free and she would still honor my voucher at a later date. I emailed her the following day to find out a time that I could schedule the complimentary cleaning session and I never heard back from her. I was skeptical that I would ever hear from her and quite honestly, I didn’t feel comfortable doing business with her in the future. At that point, I contacted the deal service and was granted a full refund.
