Established in 1991.

Glass Etching by Matisse first opened our doors in 1991. We transpired due to a love for etched glass and wanting to preserve beautiful decorative art on glass with one-​of-​a-​kind custom designs for the client.

Carmen D.

Business Owner

As business owner and professional glass artist, Carmen draws on her certification in interior design and space planning, as well as her attendance at professional glass etching seminars and under the tutelage of master glass artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Her many hours of hands-​on study with master glass artists have involved state-​of-​the-​art techniques and levels of all types of professional etching. Carmen customizes her work to meet the most demanding tastes, whether commercial or residential clients are involved. Her experience, training and expertise enable her to do the job with an artisan’s touch and a creative artist’s fervor.

With her small but talented staff enabling her to serve commercial and residential etching needs, she specializes in on-​site custom glass etching of commercial and residential spaces.
