I attended this bar/lounge on a Friday night that was supposed to have a few special attraction events going on. The venue is located on Washington’s ave, an area known for their casual bars and laid back environment. However this place sticks out like a sore thumb. They want to be an upscale type club and have a strict dress code of heels for women and dress shoes for men, mind you this is Washington avenue. Totally ridiculous. Once inside the lounge is beautiful. Well decorates and several sections of seating. However, all the seating is reserved for private parties willing to buy bottles. They had almost a dozen reserved tables set up, all of which were completely empty. The music and lighting was that of a club and NOT a lounge. It was incredibly loud and they played hip hop music. Hardly anyone was dancing and it was too loud for any conversation. The bar was a complete waste. They gave out free drink tickets that night and had they not, there is no way I would have payed for a drink from that place. The drinks were incredible weak and poorly made. To top it off they make the female bar attendants and waiters dress incredibly disrespectfully. They basically had on swimsuits with their butt checks hanging out. Not my type of venue and I won’t be returning

I specifically downloaded the Unilocal app to sum up my experience. Was told I had to pay $ 15 cover even though it was 1:30am. However, my dress attire was a button up and jeans with dress shoes. Mind you, majority of the people there were wearing t-shirts, baggy jeans, and sneakers. They notified me that every woman who entered paid $ 10 and every guy who entered paid $ 20. I asked to speak to the manager but they refused. I’m sorry but as a white male I feel that I was taken advantage of. Completely unprofessional and will never go back to that establishment– especially on a Friday night.

I ended up here with some friends Saturday night. I think this place gets way too packed that you don’t get to fully appreciate it. The music is good, the people were good… The bad: one michelob Ultra for $ 8. Wtf. obviously I didn’t tip or get another beer. My friends whisky and sprite were pretty much whisky and water and it was undrinkable but very expensive as well… The club is was too packed that you couldn’t even walk through. I got pushed a few times to get though. And they were still letting people in. Who enjoys that? If you wanna go dance, it’s not gonna happen. I felt like a sardine there. I Waited outside until one of the tables cleared out and just sat there with friends while we watched everyone else getting pushed to get through. Not. Going back

I love the space at Giulietta Sociale I came here this past Saturday for a wedding after party. It was filled with lots of people enjoying themselves and having drinks and smoking hookah. I enjoyed Bobby Blyss spinning on the patio outside it definitely had Praia Urbana vibes that evening. I wish the dance floor inside was bigger it seemed a bit cramped due to the tables on the side of the dance floor. I would come back again and see how it is.

We went by at 6:45 on a Friday night and the doors were locked. It’s either closed or the hours listed are not correct.

went there on a saturday night around 11pm, the place wasn’t crowded which i like. i’m able to have convos with my friends outside the little patio with cute décor and swing! inside there’s a little dance floor with fun music, everyone’s so chill it’s almost as if we were all friends. haha. the bar tender made me a drink called orange tic toc which i think is his own thing since the other bar tender didn’t know what it was. how cool is that! just one thing, the ladies’ rest room only has two stalls. One stall was broken that night. ugh. ain’t gonna work… rest room was also so nasty i literally had to disinfect the bottom of shoes when i got home. other than that this place is so awesome, i will definitely keep coming back for more!

This place has nice décor, fun music— you think you might have a great time. Closed my tab when I found out bartender charged like an extra $ 50. No statement was given so I couldn’t even narrow down what I ordered. Bartenders are plain stupid. It’s ridiculous when you are sober and the bartender is not. Never going back, STUPID bartenders.

This bar is nice if you enjoy sitting down and relaxing. There are plenty of chairs and tables to lounge around with limited seating at the bar. It’s spacious indoors, and although the patio outside is not as large, it’s still inviting. The few times I’ve been, it hasn’t been too crowded.

This is right next door to Galway Hooker(the irish bar). Both Galway and Giulietta now make up the old Ei8ht building on Washington. Very chill vibe, not very crowded for a sunday funday. The drinks were good, Little Martin was jammin, and theres ample seating in and outdoors, with a dance floor inside. The patio is on the smaller side, but still roomy. I’d def stop by on a Sunday again to hear Martin spin.

I love this place. They have the friendliest staff and the décor is beautiful. Great spot to hang out and have a glass of wine in their gorgeous patio. There is not any place that I have found in Houston like this. Everyone has to check it out for themselves.
