How did we get our name many of our customers ask? When my family started the business back in 1971 there were just a handful of companies. Back then our company name was Automatic Door Systems which many customers back in the day would still recognize us by. We began to understand that as the years went by the evolution of our company would be transformed from the over the counter sales to a genuine regard for a much greater need and that was for service for the great deal of door and opener devices out there in the market. Customers would call looking for a different experience they would find from other companies just wanting to sell products they really didn’t need. Many products if serviced and maintained properly can last many years. Being born and raised in the business the way I have you get an idea that the customer just wants to be treated fairly without sales gimmicks and get the job done well with a professional courtesy to you the customer.

I was born and raised in Houston! Both my parents were both professionals working in advertising and in the oil industry. In 1971 they decided to open a well needed door company on the west side of Houston as back then none were around! I spent many years crawling around in peoples garages and learned the trade from early on! Learning people skills also came from talking and getting to know you the customer and making customer relationships first and foremost and providing a service which I personally set a high bar for doing a great job!
