I don’t like them!

Definitely negative star worthy.
Do NOT take your car to this place. If you get into a position where you need a tow (accident driven) around the area, and the tow guy suggests it — don’t even think about it. Just say NO! They lied about the amount of time it would take to fix my vehicle, by a month’s estimate. It’s impossible for them to give you updates, always say they’re going to call you back when they won’t, always say it’ll be ready in «2» days and its not. Stop telling me it will be ready in two days if you need two weeks?!
In addition, one month later (post fix), my alignment was totally bent still and when my insurance agent asked if I want to bring it back to Gary Fruge, I took my own advice and said HELL NO. BMW repaired it themselves.
FYI — if you ask for a reference list, record the voice you’re hearing. It sounds like the people that work there. I’m sure they just have a bunch of phone lines taking in those fake references.

I am giving this shop 1 star based on the complete lack of service I received when I called them. It was a Saturday morning, the individual who answered did not make any attempt to help me, when I asked if they were open they said «No». Silence. So I asked, «Well, when will you be open?». «Monday to Friday», with an attitude of «how did you not know that we’re not open on weekends??». OK. So you clearly don’t want my business, but at least show some common courtesy to your (potential) customers. Based on this kind of service attitude, I would not trust my vehicle with this place.

Well, I would like to rip on this places mechanical prowess but that is not the reason I was there doing buisness with them. I, trying to be as responsible as possible when going out for the night, left my car on washington street and took a cab home. Before leaving my car, I walked up and down the street and no parking sign was anywhere in the vacinity, so I thought it would be fine and I would grab it in the morning. Well, upon arriving where my car had been parked for the night, it obviously had either been stolen or towed, I figured the later. After calling around I finally found out that my car had been towed about 500 feet to Gary Fruge auto. It amazes me that a community mechanic shop would pray on its potential clientele for a quick buck. I paid these theives 203 $ for stealing my car. Great business model Gary, do you think that towing people for no reason is good for business? Do you know that I own two german cars, my roomate owns 1, my 2 brothers each have 1, my father, the list goes on. What makes you think I, or any of my friends, family or anyone would bring their car to you? Word of mouth can sink your business in no time and then you wont be around anymore to steal peoples money/​cars.
One more thing, I thought this was hilarious and it made my day. After I paid them to give me my car back, these clowns gave me thier business card. I dont know what the thought behind that was? I guess it’s coming from the same mind that decided towing the community was a good idea. Thanks Gary, but my cars will be repaired at Silvios… he does exceptional work without stealing the communities cars.

Our car has been dealer maintained for most of its life, but we decided to look for a place closer to us for further car care. (Our dealer is about 10 miles away.) Gary Fruge is right around the corner from us, and my sister said mentioned that she had a good experience here.
We dropped our car off on a Monday. That afternoon, Tony called to let us know what the trouble was and how much it was going to cost. We had had an idea of the problem, and their price quote was less than what we’d expected so we gave them the go ahead. We had also asked them to look at the brakes, so they called us on Tuesday morning with a price quote for that. Again — it was less expensive than we expected.
We got our car back on Tuesday afternoon in perfect working order, and we were pleasantly surprised by the great customer service and what we consider to be a very fair price. I’d recommend their services to anyone in the area looking for a mechanic.
