Please keep in mind the name of this place. When I go here, I want greasy chicken wings that are still crispy. They need to be seasoned perfect. And they should be packaged in something that lets the grease show without ruining your cloths. This place makes the mark.

Seriously the absolute worst in the city of houston! Again I tried to eat there and again disappointed. This time served raw chicken! Never again will I attempt to go to this location or now any other! Make sure you look at your food before you leave! The lady asked me for my receipt even though she checked me out 2 minutes earlier and she didn’t give me one. Not to mention in this city what chicken place doesn’t have hotsauce? Really? Even Chinese restaurants have hot sauce! Don’t waste your time or money going here!

Truth in advertising problem. Sign on front window and inside store says $ 5.99 for five piece chicken dinner. Adrian Cross, the franchise representative was testy and said this was only good for dark meat. Store’s policy seems to be «THECUSTOMERISALWAYSWRONG». Suggest you vote with your feet.

This place is clean and not run down like the other restaurants. Looks like they just built it too long ago. Because I never noticed it here. Chicken was great. I will be back fo moe!

After eating at the original Frenchy’s I decided to give this location a try. This location is definitely not as good as the one on Scott St. The staff members were very polite and professional. The chicken was hot and fresh. On the other hand, the fries were between warm and cold. They weren’t good at all. So if you decide to give this one a try, be sure to let them know you want fresh fries NOT mixed with older fries. The peach cobbler wasn’t what I expected. It’s not ready warm. To some, that may not be a problem. After trying 3 different Frenchy’s location, I’ll stick to the original on Scott street! But then again, some times you need to let THEM know to put down fresh fries. Speaking from experience in the fast food industry, customers shouldn’t have to remind employees to serve hot, fresh food. It should already be known.

This is the second time I’ve been here since I’ve moved to texas and this place is actually pretty good the seasoning is great and it’s not as greasy like popeyes. Tonight I went to this location that just opened and I was pleasantly surprised, as I walked through the door I was greeted immediately by the staff I wasn’t sure what I wanted but the lady at the register was very helpful and patient she let me know all the specials they had that day so I got the three piece special witch was perfect chicken was cooked perfectly and the dirty rice was the best I’ve had in a while. The over all experience was great I will be back really soon!

The food is good! But it needs a drive-through for a easy conveniency & bigger cups for the drinks that come with the combos. When you order a combo that comes with a drink, it’s in a small cup. There Kool-Aid is very sweet and yummy! And it’s 0.49 more then a regular soda, NOTCOOL! I only been there three times and the employees are very nice so far! But overall, keep up the good work!

I had a good experience at this newer location of one of my favorite fried chicken places. They have granite countertops, granite seating for waiting on your to-go orders and granite tables to sit down and eat inside their small dining room. Finally, a location you can sit down at somewhat near my house. As with all Frenchy’s, it is usually to your advantage to order one of their posted specials, otherwise your bill will get out of control for a fast food place. They have a Monday and Wednesday special, but since I came on a Saturday, I ordered the 5-piece special with a side(dirty rice or fries) for only 5.99. On their specials, this location did not allow any substtutions on the sides, whatsoever. You will have to order the side a la carte. The location was clean, but of course it is still new. Restrooms were also along the opposite side of the dining room and were very clean. Everything went smoothly, except for the cashier which tried to tell me I couldn’t order a small drink a la carte, which was a joke. I finally convinced him you can, you just need to find the correct key on the touch screen.

I want to give a shot out to my Unilocal friends(Alexander W, Jaime L, Earl A, Shawn S & Marvin O.) in Katy to give me a quick lesson on real fried chicken from New Orleans. I had no reference points and I felt like I need to go out and explore Houston. These chickens are GOOD — not over-powering with spices. Yet, I could taste the freshness of the chicken. And, they were JUICY as a fried chicken should be. I am glad to see French’s Chicken fulfilled the need of a good fast food chain at the busy intersection of Beechnut and SW Freeway, which is near HBU and Hermann Memorial Southwest. They picked a good timing to open on New Year’s Eve. I was there on their 3rd day of operation, a slow stream of customers seemed to know what to ordering the menu.
