Terrible service and cold food ! I asked for cheese and did not get cheese. I ask for unsweet tea and got sweet tea. To make matters worse the food was not even warm. It was my first and last time at this location.

The burger was very good but their style of cooking the patty is to smush it down flat. The fries are matchstick kind which were delicious and if you keep up with local paper ads there is always a coupon for a free mini sundae. I recommend for sundaes the dirt and worms… delicious and the pbc was good too. We tried the chili cheese hot dog which was very good and fully loaded. Service was prompt and friendly.

Food is decent. Typical simple burger, only bad thing is that their patties are so thin! You would have to order a double patty to have a regular sized burger. Their fries are thin as well but I can appreciate them, they’re actually kinda addicting.

My wife 1st time at restaurant. She was satisfied. It was something different. Our daughter loved the skinny fries. Good experience friendly staff

Burger patties were pretty thin so order a double if you’re hungry. Tasty though. Pretty normal burgers with traditional toppings. Shoestring fries were delicious and a generous amount was given. Frozen custard concrete was too liquidy. Was expecting thicker. Tastes like ice cream.

I love Freddy’s! I’m surprised there isn’t a line out the door for this place as there is in the one that just opened up in Sugarland. It does seem kinda tucked in a less favorable area. Their fries beats McDonald’s and their burgers are delicious!

Mmmmmmm delicioso! I don’t know why I love this place so much. The burgers are greasy but so delicious. The fries are skinny but so tasty. The ice cream is excellent I really can’t find any complaints.

Just stopped by to get a idea of prices because I heard of how good their food was. Usually I go to get something else because I have never been and wanted to try it out. I was extremely impressed by their quality of food and service. I will most definitely go back.

Steakburger not much to talk about It was good. More emphasis on custard shakes and desserts.

I love these places. This is not my regular Freddy’s, but I was not disappointed. Patti melt, hot dogs, burgers, and possibly the best fast food fries around

What to get: Hawaiian delight sundae! I haven’t had a chance to try the burgers here yet, but if it’s on the same levels as their custard and chili cheese fries, in sure it’s amazing.(Once I try their burgers, I’ll let you know if it’s worth that last star) My sister and I went here to try their custard one day, not really sure what to expect, but it was amazing!!! They only have 2 custard flavors, chocolate and vanilla, but it’s the way they dress it up that brings it to the next level. They have 5 different styles of sundaes, including turtle, Hawaiian delight, and peanut butter cups. They also make those flavors in what they call a «concrete» which is more like a milkshake blizzard drink. They just take the same ingredients and blend it together. The sizes run pretty big, so a mini or a small is definitely more than enough for a normal person to eat. If you’re an ice cream fanatic, maybe you might want one a bit bigger. While the creamy custard is amazing(always have to get it) I would also suggest getting the fries, especially the CHILICHEESEFRIES! They’re so cheap, and you get so much for what you pay, and it’s just cheesy and so delicious. *drool* They use shoestring fries so it’s very deceiving to think you’re not eating much… it’s also way addicting. This is a definitely must go to if you’re just in the mood for good all American diner food. This reminds me of steak and shake, but with custard rather than milkshakes. Price: for what you get, it’s a really good price. Atmosphere: this is a really casual place with a fun diner feel. I’m expecting fonzy to walk out any moment. Overall, my new favorite custard place!

Haven’t ever eaten here before. The reviews kinna led us here. I wasn’t blown away, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. It was good, just not what I expected. The fries were awesome, the burger was good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The place was pretty clean with staff steady cleaning while we were there. We may go back, just won’t really be a passionate destination.

First time here a couple of days ago. I had the #1 combo. Wow, it was delicious! Fries were seasoned so good. The employees were so nice, friendly. Definitely coming back.

Went here on a Saturday night. Place wasn’t too busy which was nice. Burgers and fries were really good. If you like steak and shake(this is very similar). There specialty is their dessert menu. Go here if you really like to order ice cream or milk shakes. Good overall experience. Will definitely come back when in the mood for a steak-patty style burger and great ice cream(which is phenomenal). Place could of been a little cleaner. Ketchup and napkin area a bit messy. Otherwise a great burger joint.

The custard is wonderful, so much to choose from and the toppings galore! The staff has been nice both times I went, place is always clean so no complaints there. Here’s the only problem… The meat for my burger was burnt, dry and super thin… I was not expecting nothing major but a decent burger at least… So I will return for their custard when the weather warms up. :) Oh on a side note I have always used this mixture for my fries of mayo and ketchup, sometimes with a touch of mustard, they have it and call it Fry Sauce! Yes they stole my recipe. I’ll call my lawyer next week. Haha

Definitely one of the better fast food burger joints out here in Houston. To sum it up, it’s not as great as Stanton’s or Shake Shack, comparable to Smash Burger, Burger Tex, and Five Guys, and better than Fuddruckers. McDonald’s, Burger King, Jack in the Box and such don’t even deserve a place in those rankings loll. Freddy’s burgers are pretty freshly prepared, but the one thing I don’t like is how incredibly thin the patties are. You don’t really get much meat with every bite, even when you order double patties. Also mustard comes standard on every burger, so even if you ask for no mustard, they are so used adding it that sometimes they completely forget to hold back the mustard. On the bright side, their thin cuts fries are pretty amazing. Thin cuts fries are sooo much better than regular cut fries. Had to try their frozen custard too, with it being part of their name and all. I went for a normal vanilla flavor and it did not impress. Frozen custard, as I read on a pamphlet on the wall, does not contain as much ice particles and normal ice cream does, which is suppose to make it much smoother. But to me, it was more slimy than smooth. I’d much rather have normal ice cream than frozen custard.

Not the best burgers in the world, but it’s decent. The california double steak burger tastes like a fresh big mac or the in and out double double animal style burger. The meat is thinner than in and out, but crispier and juicier than the big mac. Not a fan of the shoestring fries. I like their frozen custards on a hot, summer day. They have some standard premixes so you don’t have to think what toppings you want to add.

I drive by Freddy’s a lot. Usually on my way to a Vitamin Shoppe, or a Jason’s Deli, or a Panera bread, or… well, you get the point. On my way to everything else around HW6 and 529 and I was never really intrigued to try Freddy’s. Until I got bored with everything else and I wanted to try a new place out. Why not Freddy’s? I quickly pulled my phone and opened my Unilocal app. What?! An average of four stars rating. I then scrolled through the reviews and noticed that my fellow Elite Unilocalers gave the approval. Shoot! I have got to try this place out! I ordered the Double California combo(comes with a drink and fries) even though I didn’t know what the difference between the original and the California but I was in a rush and I didn’t really have time to ask questions. Five minutes later, my order was ready. Okay sized bun, but the patties were very thin! Like thin THIN! If you have an appetite, you want to at least a double. Don’t come in here expecting one of those burgers with thick, juicy patty. I don’t even think the double was the size of one patty that you would get at other burger joints like Burger Tex or dare I say, Stanton’s City Bites? Not even close! The taste, however, was pretty decent. I actually liked it. The Freddy’s secret sauce(really 1000 islands like everywhere else with their secret sauce) wasn’t too shabby. They also have what they call«Fry Sauce» which I think is just the Freddy’s sauce(or maybe not) But mix that with ketchup and you get a fun, pretty tasty dip! They also have other stuff here: hot dogs, philly cheesesteak sandwich, frozen cakes, frozen custards. Just look at the pictures that I took. The frozen custard wasn’t too shabby either. So, with quick service, decently-priced and decently-tasting steakburgers, I’ll add Freddy’s to my list of lunch go-to places. I’ll have to try the other stuff on their menu anyway.
