Business Owner

My name is Christina Morales Berger and I am the granddaughter of Felix and Angela Morales. My grandparents were pioneers in the Hispanic Community of Houston. They opened the first HIspanic Owned Funeral Home and they also started the first Spanish Language Radio Station in Houston.

My grandparents left big shoes to fill and unfortunately my father, their only child, died too young to carry on the family name. After losing both of my parents by the age of 15, I was left without any direction in my life. Luckily my grandmother stepped in when I turned 18 and encouraged me to be a part of the business that was closest to her heart, the funeral home.

I attended Mortuary College shortly thereafter and graduated with honors and distinction. I also served as president of the Honor Society and eventually I was asked to serve on the Mortuary College Advisory Board. I expanded my community service by serving numerous charitable organizations including, Neighborhood Centers Ripley House
