Our Server was nice, he was very busy & we had a table of 9 & I think he did a good job. The food was ok I think Alwadi has better food.

Ordered lamb kabobs, chicken kabobs and chicken tenders for the kids. EVERYTHING was over cooked, pita bread was burned. Salt much??? Way over board. To the managers credit he offered to refund our money but I have 2 starving kids and we are going elsewhere…

We went there with 4 people, ordered at the same time but they could only bring 2 of them after 25 mins at the same time. For the others it took them to bring it 55 mins and the place wasn’t pack at all. Also there was a waitress who was extremely rude, so ghetto and didin’t know how to speak English very well. Food was good, owner was nice but still worst service ever.

This is an overall score. I usually like to rate based on food alone because service and atmosphere is usually close enough but I feel like I have to break it down.
Food: Hubby and his sister were extremely happy with the food. (They are of Middle Eastern descent, I’m Asian descent but I grew up in LA with a lot of Armenians.) Everything was delicious. We had stuffed grape leaves, fried cheese, spinach pie, Fatoush salad, and this out of the world mango juice. I was very pleased with the grape leaves as this was the style I grew up eating – so good! And the juice was like ambrosia! 5 stars
Atmosphere: It needs a bit of an update. It has a hookah bar attached which got my husband very excited. I feel they should have a better separation between hookah and restaurant. I have asthma but that being said sitting as far as possible from the doorway, it wasn’t bad at all. You definitely could not sit outside as the smoke could overwhelm you. And I think the atmosphere outside was nicer. 2 stars
Service: Despite the other reviews, we had no problems. Our waitress was very attentive. And the owner came by to check on us. 5 stars
Overall, I really like this place, I wish the owners much success.

Worst workers I’ve seen in my life in the States, it took them 55 minutes to bring a sandwich. There was a lady who was extremely rude and didn’t even know how to speak English.

The food here is amazing! We have been here twice and have been incredibly impressed with everything that we have had. If this was based on taste and presentation alone, I would give 5 stars in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the service here is so bad that I do not think I will be coming back. It took 20 minutes on a slow Sunday night to get a menu. We ordered 2 waters and got them after 30 minutes and asking 3 times. Seriously, have not had worse service in recent years.

I love coming here! The staff is so friendly and it’s such a nice place to chill. They have outside seating and are very accommodating. They offer hookahs to rent for the time you are there and it’s not crazy expensive. The food is really delicious! I love the stuffed grape leaves and the gyro :) the platter also comes with hummus and pita bread to accompany the dish. Tastes very homemade. I will definitely keep coming back. Also, Donus was very helpful!!! Hopefully the owners will see that and commend her :)

Service is impeccable and the food was spot on! This was our first time eating at Fatoush, so we ordered several apps, salads, chicken and beef kabobs. My daughter had the strawberry juice and was very happy. All of our food was hot and fresh. The pita bread was straight out of the oven. The meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. I’m so glad to have found this little gem and happier that it’s in cypress.

Sad to say the service was not good and food was overlooked. Too bad because the 1^st time was good.

The food here is wonderful. Full of flavor and very authentic. The food is a 4 star at least.
However the service let’s it down severely. Our order was taken 3 times. The entries arrived before the appetizer.
The service staff was never the same person. Asking for sauce or drinks took an act of God to get refilled. In fact the sauce never arrived even after being asked for for 4 times. 2 families walked out without getting served.
I was tempted to give 1 star but the food was to good.
If you don’t mind a long wait and poor service the food is worth it.

Huh Friday evening was just looking for a good Mediterranean food. Stopped by Fathoush which is close to my place.
A good place for Hookah lovers. For others yes it’s only an okay place to dine in.
The same old problem that veggies face — limited choice to make from.
The only available one was Falafel which is an Egypt street food Made out of ground chickpeas.
The appetizer was good.
The falafel platter and the sandwich had similar ingredients.
The falafel was damn dry. At some point I couldn’t even swallow it.
The Turkish coffee was a good try.
Overall not completely satisfied.
You can just try once.
Tip: Kindly don’t choose the falafel sandwich instead go in for falafel platter.

Based on the reviews of this place, I decided to try it. I was in the mood for some good falafel. And this place did not disappoint. They serve you a small portion of lentil soup on the house that was quite tasty. I decided to get the Falafel plate which came with 6 good size falafels, a serving of homemade hummus, and French fries. To accompany the meal, I received the most delicious pita bread I have ever tasted. Straight from the fire burning oven.
The service was excellent. She was very attentive, had good suggestions for the menu if it’s your first time, and even brought me a to go menu with my box for the left overs. I recommend this place if your in the area.

The place looks a little old on the inside but we’ve always gotten decent service and it’s not dirty. There is usually only one waiter/​waitress but the food doesnt take forever to come out.
The food is delicious and very authentic! The samboosak is so good, the hummus is good, the pitas are very fresh and the gyros and kabobs are delicious. Samboosak comes with meat or cheese and both are great. The Turkish coffee is really interesting and very strong. I didn’t care for the sharwarma but i think i just don’t like that dish in particular. The yellow rice is also pretty good. I haven’t had a chance to try the hookah or bakalava but they both smell/​looks pretty good. I always forget to take pictures wherever i come here but ill try to remember next time

Stop coming here for awhile since friend built his own hookah and the one down southwest is our preference. But this place is my goto if I don’t want to make a drive all the way down there.
Service got a lot better too.
Edit: there’s free refills so u don’t have to spend 1 – 1.75 every drink like other hookah places I have been too.

What a wonderful piece of the Middle East in Houston. Truly wonderful tasting, authentic food that makes you want to come back for more and more, over and over again!
AND, yes, they take care of their civil servants as well!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! AGAIN AND AGAIN!

I ate here years ago when I was named Aladdin’s and wasn’t impressed so I never returned. When it closed and changed its name and added a hookah bar to it, I just figured it was the same ish, different smell.
Well I finally decided to try it with man-​child and not really expecting it to be different, I came out rather suprised. First, the service was on point and restuarant was clean. We sat down and ordered. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with a side of hummus and a strawberry juice. My son ordered the lamb gyros wrap with fries. You receive a complimentary cup of lentil soup (which is craveable) and it sets the tone pretty well.
Now, on to the main platter, came out wrapped in foil and goodness. Chicken was tender, the pita was soft, and sauces matched to perfection. The hummus was perfect as I may stop by just to order some for the football games. The shawarma was definitely good and great for the area (Phoenicia being the top dawg tho!).
On to the strawberry juice, she brought this thang out in a sexy ass glass and I just stared at it for a few minutes trying to figure out how to take the right pic of it and not drink it. I took my first sip was delightful and after two sips it was totally empty (weird?), I should have ordered two!
If you’re in the Copperfield area and need a hookah and Mediterranean fix, then this is your one stop shop. Another diverse and good restuarant for the diverse area!

The food here is incredible! I’m from Chicago and I’ve been to dozens of Middle Eastern places, so far this is the only one that compares. We started of with lentil soup that came with fried pita on the side. They made the soup right! You could taste that it was cooked with a ham bone (the only way to make it) Then ordered the Kufta kebab sandwich and the mix between beef and lamb was well worth the 40 minute drive. All of the meat is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Even the pickled vegetables! Plus they put a Allspice and sumac on the fries which is incredible and unique. Aside from that the prices are reasonable, the music is fits the restaurant, and the service is exceptional.

I’m giving them an extra star because they’re making an effort, they have great fresh food and are a nice bunch of folks.

Our waiter or waitress (there were two) didn’t come check on us once we got our food. The pita bread for my babba ganouj was brought to me later than the dip.
These folks need to get organized and attempt to serve the food at the same time. Furthermore, they need to designate a separate area for the hookah smokers.
I look forward to returning to this place with the hope they have improved on their customer service.

Beautiful outdoor seating with a porch swing. The service was fast and excellent. The owner greeted us in arabic when we entered. Took our order and didn’t make us wait, forever.
The strawberry juice was amaaaazing. Pita & salad was fresh and chicken shwarma was delishhh!
Though it was a bit pricey, i’d deff. go back for some halal Mediterranean.

Just my first time going here but I will be coming here a lot. I’ve always been a big fan of Phoenicia but it’s pretty far traffic-​wise so I don’t get down there too often, but this place has a very similar menu and is really close, how lucky. I know it’s different but I can’t help but compare the two, and I would call Fatoush right there taste wise for the few things I had, but I notice many reviews call is the best around this style, some even say in Texas, I’ll be the judge of that ;) it also has hookah and is certainly smaller than Phoenicia so they obviously can’t have all their foods visible behind glass to order, but that’s good because you know they’re making it fresh!
I went in on a slow evening, only a few others, but the service was outstanding, I was greeted, talked to and treated well, even just ordering to-​go. It was very clean inside and fairly dark (as it should be for hookah), but I’ve seen pictures and know it’s cool looking especially at night. It has a drivethru but the owner said he doesn’t plan on using it, which i understand seeing how fresh the food is.
Got a tabouli salad and grape leaves because I had a craving, and was not disappointed, they were so fresh and tasted light, strongly flavoured (tabouli: parsley, tomatoes, onion, bulgur wheat) and obviously are very healthy, which is my favourite part about this place and style of food, it’s all very healthy and refreshing. There are few places like this (healthy and tasty) on my side of town! Let the pictures speak for themselves, look at them! I’ll also post a pic of the menu as I haven’t seen one yet online…
