Not even mad at this facility, which is just storage for many local towing rackets. The complaints to: information is a total joke! How about we complain to government because they set the stupid restrictions on parking to collect funds. I got my car quickly so yay, great service. #Trap

Great service! We got a flat at 10pm in the medical center and the truck arrived in less than ten minutes. The driver was wonderful, kind, and even walked the perimeter of the store checking for security cameras in order to park our car in the safest possible location of the tire store. Then he drove us to our house. Would recommend them to anyone!

I’m not gonna give this place 5 stars because it’s a place to pick up your towed car from. But the guy at the front was really nice and we got in and out pretty fast. I did come with my friend and it was on a Monday night so that might be why though.

Business practice warning: I just found a charge to my credit card from this company (Fast Tow, Houston, TX). I do not live in Houston, have never done business with them, nor have I visited Houston in years. My card has been in my possession at all times. So, either they accept credit card numbers without checking the physical card, asking for a security pin code, and/​or apparently do not check another form of ID. Be aware!

As much as getting towed is annoying and a major hassle, these guys are really great. Keep in mind, the owners of the property are the ones that call to have you towed… These guys are just doing their job.
I paid to park in a $ 10 lot next to little Woodrow’s in midtown and the parking attendant had my car towed saying I didn’t pay and there was no tag in my dash. Frustrated, I went to pick up my car and these guys were great about it. I drive a 6 series BMW and was terrified they damaged my car during the tow. I asked the tow drivers to show me exactly how they towed it and they walked me through it, showing me how it was lifted and carried and what type of damage could have potentially taken place. They used a method to prevent damage with my car being so low, so No damage was done to my car at all, thank goodness. They were quick and easy to work with… Just be patient and realize they aren’t the bad guys and are simply doing what the property owners called them to do. I will be filing complaints against the parking lot attendant however because the ticket was in my dash.

No one likes getting towed, including myself. But I can’t be mad at the towing company. It’s not their fault that common band bakery doesn’t allowing parking in their lot after they are closed.
I called the towing number they told me exactly where my car would be found. I called the towing location someone answered right away and Confirmed my car was on the premise and their hours. (Open at 10 pm btw) Although they have a hard to find entrance. Minimal lighting. Are in a Bad area of town. And questioning my safety. I paid the fine and got my car with out any damages.
Compared to the other Unilocalers… I was not physically assaulted. So I’m pretty happy. Hopefully I will not be returning anytime soon.

Careful these guys are thugs and will threaten to hurt you, worst POS out on the road in Houston. Steer clear of these f$#%#$.

Fuck this fuck this fuck all of you. Been sitting outside their «window» for over an hour trying to speak with the owner or man in charge and continually am being ignored and harassed. I parked in a private parking zone on mulberry and westheimer with a sign that is NOT VISIBLE AT ALL. As I attempt to show the pictures of the covered sign, the tower calls me a dick, laughs and walks away. Great way to treat a customer. Fuck you. And I’m still sitting outside waiting for someone to speak to me about this issue.

Simply put, they’re lying scumbags. They ‘stole’ my car from a laundrymat on Westheimer where I was legally parked as a customer. They were in the wrong and I got my car back but they were absolutely non-​apologetic and even insisted that ‘technically’ they were right.

This place stakes out streets to tow your vehicle as soon as you park and leave your car. Went to go pick up the car in less than a hour and was charged a full day amount!

Be careful! I was assaulted by an employee for trying to record another employee’s behavior on my phone. The man jumped out of the two truck and grabbed my hair, grabbed my neck, wrestled with me to try and take my phone and scratched me. This was a huge man and I was only able to get him off of me because I was screaming «help» at the top of my lungs and a car appeared at the St Arnold’s Parking Lot across the street. The other employee lied to protect him, claiming I had assaulted her (is using an iphone to record behavior assault now?) and the camera footage was mysteriously «not accessible» while the police were there so unfortunately the man was not arrested and it is still being investigated.
Oh yes, and it was an illegal tow from a private garage where I have a permit and have parked for the last three years.

I got towed recently by them, after having parked in a private parking. I payed the enourmous fine for the towing, and they made me sign some documents, which stated among others that I had inspected the car and there was no damage.
Few things:
They did not let me see the car, before I payed and signed the documents, after that they opened the gate and let me pick up my car.
Second and more important, they towed my car, with the handbreak on, which destroyed my handbreak. Now they clame, that since I have signed those documents, they are not to be held to blame.
I read online, that they were suppose to lift with a doley, the rear tyres, but that was not the case, since my handbreak does not work at all now.

Predatory tow company. They stalk no parking zones and broke down cars on the highway. The owner should be investigated. I refuse to do business downtown anymore. I live in the country to avoid the corruption of cities like Houston. The city clearly has something going on with this company. Do some research connecting this owner and the mayor.
The owner also served on some sort of city committee or something. Talk about a conflict of interest.
Most cities write a parking ticket. This one allows tow companies to seize your vehicle after putting up no parking signs in all the wrong places.
Karma will catch up with you.

Fast Tow /​Lyons Towing /​Jeanette Rash have a pretty sleazy business model. They aren’t called upon by businesses to tow like most tow companies are. They hide around the corner and watch and wait for you to park in barely identified side streets or lots and charge $ 220. plus $ 20 on top of that for every 6 hours your car stays in their lot.

I had to use the tow company for my own mistake. I accidentally locked my keys in my car. The car wash looked up a locksmith online and called him out but I asked if they could call a tow truck instead as everyone was pricing about $ 40 – 50. I have seen Fast Tow around downtown before and decided to give them a call. I am glad I did. Before Fast Tow arrived, the «locksmith» came in a unmarked car, wearing a abercrombie t-​shirt and was in a hurry to get my money. I told him I would rather wait for Fast Tow (and im glad I did). Fast Tow did respond within about 15 minutes from when I called them, and it only took the wrecker driver about 30 seconds to unlock my car. I felt much better using them as their vehicles are marked and identified with license numbers and certification seals. The wrecker driver had me call their dispatch with my cell phone to provide them credit card information (More secure cause I called the number, instead of me using his phone and not knowing who I’m talking to). Fast Tow was simply what they say they are, Fast. The whole transaction might have only took 3 minutes.
I have read some of the other reviews on here. The driver did use a coat hanger type device to get in to my car, but it worked. It did not leave any damage to my vehicle. I am also familiar with the area as to which their storage yard it located. It is not a popular side of town, but it is also not a dangerous area, just looks like it could be. They are on the North side of downtown right by 45÷10÷59, so it is pretty centrally located and easy to access.

Tow companies generally have a bad stigma to them, so obviously many of them are gonna have bad reviews, but this one is something else. Out of everyone that I met, only one guy was nice enough to let me know what I can do to appeal the tow cost (which made me think about giving it 2 stars but no). First I was wrongfully towed. That evening when I retrieved my car, the indifference of the women running the booth was ridiculous. They just knew how to say «license and credit card.» A machine could do their job. As I was about to pay, some guy jumped the fence to take his car back, and the whole place went into lockdown mode. So guess what? I still couldn’t get my car!
After going to court, the city dismissed my case and admitted I was wrongfully towed, but when I asked for my money back ($ 225) they kept giving me the run around. Some people hung up on me and then some just didn’t even try to answer me. Long story short I finally got a hold of Jo Ann and she said to call tow court and make an appt. I asked her for the phone number, and she said it was on my receipt. I said I don’t have my receipt on me, could you please provide me with it. She would not since she stated she did not know it. uhm… How can she not know it as she works for the towing company??? ridiculous and disorganized. City should use another more reliable company

I witnessed these guys breaking into a vehicle on Bagby last night, setting off (and then disabling) the alarm, while a City of Houston Parking employee looked on.
I was driving south on Bagby in Midtown last night around 9.15pm. There are a lot of restrictions on late night street parking in that area that kick in at 9pm. As a result, there are a lot of citations being issued and wreckers removing/​towing cars as quickly as possible around that time.
As I came to the stop light at McGowan, I witnessed a Fast Tow Wrecker that seemed to be having difficulty moving an SUV. I am going to guess that the parking brake was engaged. I watched as the employee then broke into the vehicle using a coat-​hanger or similar. The vehicle’s alarm was set off but the Fast Tow employee disabled the alarm once inside the vehicle. The City of Houston Parking employee stood and watched as this all took place. The speed and aggressive manner in which the wrecker driver forced entry into the vehicle tells me that this is obviously standard practice. I would also think it very likely that there would have been some type of damage done to the vehicle. As for the City of Houston employee, my guess is that they either don’t care or are required to meet quotas and are prepared to look the other way.
I have checked with Houston P.D. to see if this is allowable behavior and they confirmed that any forced entry into a vehicle is criminal.
There may well come a time when you need your vehicle towed to somewhere other than an impound lot. You do have a choice in who you choose to use for that service. Most Houstonians will agree that Fast Tow are vile low-​life (that’s being kind). Use them & you get what you deserve in this life.
