Eyes Are Precious

The service that Dr. Moss provided was exceptional! She is very thorough and is keen on finding the problem. We were very happy with her expertise and definitely recommend her.

Dr Sue Moss Is Unprofessional.
I was referred to her from an ad in a newsletter. I called and she took me on as a client and I paid for an exam and then even purchased my glasses from her, instead of Costco. I bought supplements and was going twice a week for vision training and after four weeks, without any notice or discussion, Dr Sue Moss stopped returning my phone calls to schedule appointment’s and apparently just dropped me as a client.
I had my Girl Friend call to try and schedule an appointment for me, as Dr Moss would not return my calls. My GF left a voice message which was returned within minutes, however Dr. Sue Moss was non responsive with her on the phone call. I have called several times WITHOUT a response I followed up with an email requesting my prescription so that I could get sunglasses. .. NO RESPONSE.
So, we can add unethical to her modus operandi. I paid for services and she will not provide my prescription She does seem to know her stuff, however. . As I said very unprofessional, esp for a Health Care provider.

As good as it gets. Dr. Moss is an incredibly caring and devoted practitioner. I look forward to my appointments and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I know this because once I did go somewhere else, to an optometrist my parents recommended, who rushed me around the office and tried to play bait and switch with the prices. I went to see Dr. Moss later that day and it was like a breath of fresh air.
I highly, highly recommend Dr. Moss. She will restore your faith in optometrists and perhaps in people in general.
And confirmed, she has changed her office to Cedar Street in Bellaire.

I used to wear during the day contact lenses or glasses as I am myopic and Dr Moss, without pushing me to buy anything, introduced me to different lenses that reshape the cornea (method called Orthokeratology) and that you have to wear at night. Very patiently, she explained to me how that type of lenses work and let me try them a few times. I was convinced. I could, after wearing them, see my sight improving.
I bought my pair of lenses for much less than at any other retailers. Dr Moss really cares about her patients’ eyes and not about making huge profits like any other doctors.
After wearing my new lenses a few nights, my vision was perfect during the day. I am so happy to be lenses or glasses free during the day. It’s a feeling of freedom.
At her office, she has lots of different equipments and machines to examine your eyes and to exercise your eyes.
She is very kind, very knowledgeable; she even is an expert in iridology and can tell you some info and advice about your health.
Dr Sue Moss is an excellent optometrist. I highly recommend her.

Never once in my entire life of wearing glasses (about 18 years) have I had such a caring eye doctor.
I was referred to Dr. Sue Moss by my friend Crystal L., who insisted that Moss truly cared about the well-​being of her patients’ eyes. She really believes that «eyes are precious.»
First and foremost, she’s a strong believer in holistic care – AND she is a licensed optometrist (I believe she studied at UH’s School of Opt).
On my first eye exam with Dr. Moss, she explained – in detail – the purpose of each machine she used to examine my eyes. That blew me away. All those years being rushed in and out of the Wal-​Mart eye doctor, and never once did the doc explain that «this machine measures the size of your iris,» or «this is why we do the light test.»
Moving on…
After my exam, we did some «eye exercises» to naturally strengthen my eyes – how quickly they focus and adjust to certain objects and such. This was amazing and it actually worked!
One topic you might get into is the subject of iridology (
), which Dr. Moss is also a practicing iridologist. By studying various spots in my iris, she was able to inform me of «weaknesses» I had in my body. She recommended that I drink more water, add pineapple and the herb milk thistle to my diet and such. I wasn’t a big believer in such things prior to this, but she could tell that in the past six months, I had been drinking a little too much alcohol – sooo true.
Another option you might want to discuss with her is hard contact lenses. As an alternative to invasive LASIK eye surgery, hard lenses (which have come a long way since your grandparents’ day) are worn at night and removed in the morning for a full day of clear vision. Wow. These normally sell for 1−2K, but Dr. Moss cares so incredibly much about her patients’ eyes, she sells them for about 100 bucks.
I recommend Dr. Moss to all of my friends, family and coworkers. I do tell them, however, that if you schedule an appointment with her, make sure you have a good 1 – 2 hours open, because you will lose track of time as you chat her up – and as she does the same!
