I initially started my real estate venture in 2002 purchasing my first small multi-​unit investment property. Over the years I continued to stay connected in real estate in many of the following ways.

–Personally flipping properties and rehabbing properties to lease.

–Working with other real estate investors with their investments.

–Researching and helping purchase foreclosure properties at the Harris County auction for a large investment group.

–Working together with another Realtor as a real estate team.

–Developing my own real estate team to help consumers buy and sell.

During the course of my career I have been involved in several industries which relied heavily on research, marketing and negotiations. This experience has allowed me to bring my expertise to the real estate consumer. I now dedicate a large portion of my time in helping these consumers with what is usually the biggest purchase they will make.

My Real Estate experience began in 2002 as an investor. For years, I had dedicated myself to buying, selling, and leasing my own properties with the help of other agents. I have seen first-​hand the many pitfalls that may and do arise during the negotiation and purchasing processes. This experience has allowed me to bring my knowledge of negotiation and research to all my buyers. Being well informed and prepared for what may arise allows for a smoother buying experience.

We chose Evan based on his reviews from Unilocal.We first contacted him with question months before we found a house we wanted. As first time home buyers, the process can be quite confusing. Once we decided on the house, Evan was with us the whole way through to the end. He helped us better understand all the ins and outs of a new build. He answered every question we had, if he didn’t know, he would contact the builder and find out for us. We are glad we used him and is a great agent to work with.

I’m a first time home buyer so I was very cautious in picking a realtor. It’s a relationship basically and both side has to get along & work well together. Evan can get along with any type of personality. He is very genuine & he REALLY is on your side from start to finish & not just trying to sell you any house. He wants you to be happy with your purchase & will advocate for you! I had problems with the seller/​contractor (who was a real pain), evan was the one who took care of it all for me — going back & forth with emails with the seller. I would tell him my concerns & within hours he had already email the seller & came back with an answer for me. He’s good at communicating with his clients professionally and answers emails/​text promptly. I never had to wait for long periods of time for him to answer back. Since the contractors gave me problems, (totally different story & you can PM me about it) Me & my husband would have been stressed out with the buying process, however bc of evan, we couldn’t have gotten through it without him. He has great knowledge of home construction and know what to look for structurally in a house. It took us a long time to find a home & not once did evan made us feel rushed or I was taking up too much of his time. I never sensed any type of pressure to «hurry up and buy” — bc like I mentioned earlier, he is on your side! To sum it up, evan made the buying process easy for me & he will not disappoint you! Awesome customer service! Just call him! You won’t regret it!

After much of a year, and 5 realtors later, my daughter found Evan on Unilocal and urged me to call him. Much of the difficulty came from trying to buy a house in Houston while living in Austin, and working with realtors who showed little interest. I was glad I made the call. Evan encouraged me that there were properties coming on the market all the time and that we could find a good fit at a price I could afford. He saved me a nice amount of money by suggesting the offering price, recommending top-​notch inspectors, and through outstanding negotiations. Evan was fully engaged throughout the entire process, and I felt like I received the same high level attention that someone with a much larger budget would experience. I feel confident in recommending Evan – and in fact, have recommended him to my grandson.

We have been on the house hunt for almost a year and throughout the process Evan was so responsive and helpful. We were on a strict budget and Evan made sure to accommodate. I can’t thank Evan and his team enough. My husband and I are first time home buyers so we reached out to several realtors that had been recommended to us and never heard back from any of them. I saw that Evan had fantastic Unilocal reviews so we reached out to him and he responded right away. He really listened to what we wanted and found several houses for us to look at that same week. The entire process from first contact to close lasted 30 days. Evan was always available for us and he even took time to talk with us on Friday and Sunday evenings if needed. He was very responsive and made sure that everything went smoothly, he always had our back. I purchased a home about a month ago using Evan as my realtor. I found him on Unilocal and decided to give him a try. I was working with another agent previously and wanted to scout around to see if I could find someone that would help me negotiate more aggressively and that knew the inner loop market a little better than my previous agent. Evan absolutely delivered on all accounts.
Yes, he was prompt at returning emails with lots of useful information for a first time home buyer. It’s obvious that Evan loves what he does. Bonus points: he’s also a terrific negotiator.
To give a great example of the quality of agent Evan is… There was a home near Jersey Village I was VERY interested in viewing. It had came on the market that morning. Evan drove from another showing on the South side in RUSH HOUR traffic up 290 so I could view the home. He even climbed in the attic and pointed out several things that would come up on the inspection report. Gave me a great idea that I could eventually knock down a wall to make it more open concept… and, then helped me work up an offer that would interest the sellers.
I could write at length, but referrals speak louder than words. I have already recommended Evan to two people, and would recommend Evan to anyone I know.

My husband and I found Evan by searching on Unilocal for a realtor during the spring of 2014. His five star ratings and reviews first caught our eye, and after our experience with him we can see why.
We have been working with Evan for almost a year when we built our home. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and extremely responsive. Since this was our first home purchase, we had a lot of questions and insecurities throughout the process, but Evan was always quick to respond and ease any concerns that we had. He was always very thorough with his responses and used his previous experiences to relate to our questions. He even assisted us with advice on homeowners insurance, inspections, and coordinated our closing meeting with the title company.
We just closed on our house last week and he has been in contact with us multiple times after to make sure our punch list items are addressed accordingly. It is nice to know we are not left in the dark after the closing process.

My husband and I used Unilocal to find a realtor in the Houston area after going through another unresponsive realtor who we were referred to by a friend — we decided to go with Evan after reading previous reviews and we were not disappointed!
Our first home purchase also included a relocation from NY and Evan was made aware of this from the very first conversation and he had experience with relocations so this was a bonus. Not only was he attentive, patient, and pleasant but he was our eyes and ears on so many aspects of the process, including the home inspection since we were not able to be in Houston on that particular day. We closed one week before our move date and had it not been for his attentiveness, genuine care, and concern we don’t think it would have been possible.
Evan works tirelessly for his client from day 1, he will give you his honest opinion on everything but yet he is not pushy about it. Even after the home buying process he is still there if you need him.

My husband and I found Evan after going through another totally unresponsive realtor in the area, and we’re so happy we did.
He was attentive, patient, considerate, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. In a seller’s market, he took us to see multiple properties on multiple occasions, and had us in a new home in under 3 months.
I love that he serves the entire Houston marketplace, and was willing to drive to the ends of the Earth just to find us a house that we liked. As another reviewer mentioned, there was no BS from Evan. He was transparent and honest with us about any misgivings he had about a house, or things that worried him about the quality of the foundation, A/​C, or any other usual suspects that could come back and bite us later. He even took us to the house right before we went to the closing so that we could be absolutely sure nothing about the property had changed.
He held our hands through all of the paperwork, offer negotiating, closing, etc., which we absolutely needed as first-​time homebuyers.
We will use him again, and would recommend him over and over to anyone who needs a realtor in Houston.

Over the years, I have worked with many realtors across the country, Evan is one of my favorites because he really does work for the clients & does things in their best interests, which isn’t that easy to find.

I had my eyes set on buying a new construction home and wasn’t sure if I needed a realtor or not. I did some research online and read that it would be a good idea to have a realtor on your side when dealing with the builder. I did some more research and found Evan. There is a reason why he has so many great reviews!
As a new homeowner, I had no clue how this home buying process went but Evan guided me along each step of the way. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to get along with.
