Empire Tools also services most major brands of tools on site. We are an Authorized Warranty Service center for Makita, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Porter Cable, Bosch, Bostitch, Ridgid, Ryobi, Homelite, Jet, Senco, Flex, Stihl, and many more.

History

Established in 1977.

Empire Tools, started by Steve and his wife, Young, as a second job, began selling hand tools at the White Elephant Flea Market in Channelview, Texas. They worked every weekend until they were able to save enough money to quit their jobs to open the first brick and mortar store in 1981 in the Spring Branch area.

Steve and Young worked diligently to serve the Houston community and eventually Empire Tools had to expand from 1600 sq ft to 2400 sq ft in 1983.

Empire Tools soon outgrew the original location on Long Point near Witte which required a move in 1989 to the 8000 sq ft Hempstead Hwy location. In 1993, Empire Tools added more warehouse space and increased its size to 11,500 sq ft.

In 2007, Empire Tools made its latest move to the current 33,000 sq ft 34^th Street superstore. Empire Tools has the largest dedicated showroom in the USA specializing in tools and accessories.
