Save your nails and find a different nail salon. Stopped in and had nails filed all the way down and had to stop cuticles from being trimmed

For the location and price, this place can’t be beat. $ 35 I believe for a shellac mani, and $ 35 for a shellac pedicure. I know, who gets a shellac pedicure? Well, ME! It’s seems a bit nutty, but the last one I got lasted ONEMONTH! Totally worth the price, and at this place cheaper than a regular manicure. Here’s the good and the bad The MANI: 5 stars, they do a great, job, and as I mentioned, the price is right. They don’t do any kind of massage(BARELY) and throw some cuticle oil on you. But for $ 35, it’s a damn good deal. I also don’t like the way they have their colors organized. It’s weird, and hard to look at. I’ve gotten two shellac manicures here and both times they last 3 weeks. The PEDI: This is the reason on the 3 stars. Granted, mine took a bit longer as I had to get shellac off, but an hour and a HALF for a pedicure is WAY too long. Even for a shellac one. I popped in here at 5p.m. yesterday, and BARELY made it to spin class at 630. I also DID not like that they poured the water from my manicure into where my feet were. Gross. They also rinsed off the tools in the tub were my feet were while my feet were still in them. Ew. I had to bolt so, we didn’t even get to the massage part. The outcome was still very good, but at any other salon I am able to get in and out in an hour. This place is NO frills, and basic. They do a good job, especially Nancy, but need to speed it up. For the price, and location it can’t be beat.

I have been here many times and would normally rate it higher however my last visit was awful. I asked for a mani/pedi(the usual Deluxe) and for the first time the person doing my manicure was a young man/boy. Right when I sat down I asked him to please just trim my long nails and make sure they were rounded, not squared. The first thing he proceeded to do was cut my nails short on my left hand. When I commented that they were too short he then decided to just file the nails on my right hand so they didn’t match. Short on the left and long on the right. He also didn’t trim my cuticles and left residue under my nails. I looked at my nails several times, stated that I didn’t like the squared nails, commented on the unevenness of each individual nail, etc. I then decided on clear instead of color since they looked bad. When I got to the drying station, I finally asked for a nail file so that I could do my nails myself. Nancy, who does a great job and is very sweet, came over and ‘redid’ my nails as I sat drying my toenails. I don’t know, I expected more. AND I got to pay full price for my ‘manicure’. I think I’ll find another place.

This place is fine… It’s nearby and there is almost never a wait(although I try to go at off-peak times). I have only ever had a shellac manicure here — probably 3 – 4 times now. The price is $ 30 + tip, which is fairly good for shellac, especially in the memorial area. The end product always looks nice and my nails are always tidy. One of the first times I went the polish was nearly empty and somehow this bottom-of-the-bottle application created a somewhat lumpy affect on my nails. But this was an isolated incident and the nails have looked near perfect since then. One thing that gives me pause is that I’ve never seen them taking the tools out of a sealed package before they use them on me. I like to know that my tools are clean! Please consider doing this at the station! Perhaps I am a germophobe but I like the peace of mind that you are not reusing the cuticle trimmers from the last person.

I got a regular manicure and pedicure and was very happy overall with the service and results of them. I had mixed feelings about coming here since the reviews have been good or really bad. I am glad I did this is a very family friendly nail salon. The staff here is very friendly and nice. I wasn’t blown away from the experience but my nail polish was painted very well and my cuticles were cut with no issues. I would have liked my massages to be a little stronger but overall I felt it was worth the price.

They did a horrible job on my nails for a refill. One hand ok but the other was messed up when she started shaping. And one of fingers has a hump in it. Won’t go back. Need to find a better place.

I walked into this place without having any referrals to it but needing a place to go for 4 people to get mani/pedis. With no appointment we were able to walk in and be seated right away on a Saturday! There were 2 adults and 2 children and they did a great job! The girls wanted special designs on their fingers and toes and the ladies did so well! I got a shellac manicure and it lasted with no chips for over 2 weeks! The pedicure was amazing and they did a really great job and it lasted until I changed the color about a month later. We were in and out of there within an hour and all happy customers. They will inform you on what services they provide but don’t push you to pay more money for services you don’t want. The nail color selection was so wide with both normal and shellac nail polish with lots of options to choose from. I will definitely be going back to Ella’s!

I used to come here and get my nails done by michelle but just found recently that she no longer works there. Got my nails done here by some random lady available and big big mistake! She sucked. Shellac was sooo bad, painted past my nail bed and 1 ½ later its peeling. I was sitting there almost done with my shellac and another customer walked in complaining her shellac started peeling after 3 days. Never again!

NEW! I love new things. All bright, shiney & smelling nice… so when I noticed this place pop up over night in a little, sleepy strip center off of Frostwood I knew I just had to try it out. Like I mentioned, new so the salon is pretty, the spa chairs comfy & clean, and the workstations bright & ready to go. They have several nail stations in the front of the store & a room with 10 spa chairs in the back. I didn’t take a look around but I’m guessing there’s a room or two off the back room for the many other services they have to offer: waxing, threading, massage, eyelash/brow tinting & eyelash extensions. They even have«Princess Services» for your little cutie-patootie. Awww! I was greeted warmly & requested a pedicure. How about a manicure to go with that? Yes, please! I quickly picked my polish & was shown to a spa chair. My this is a comfy chair with a nice massage action, subtle and aligned perfectly on my spine. The technicians asked a few«hi, how are you do you live around here» type of questions & got to work. I went with the Ella Deluxe Manicure & Pedicure which included arm/lower leg massage(which included the knee area that I loved), paraffin, hot stones & hot towel wrap. What a relaxing experience, I think I dozed off for a few minutes… The end product was gorgeous! The manicure was above average & my hands look beautiful. My feet & tootsies have been revived… ready for sandals! I am so happy I treated myself yesterday. And will I return? You betcha!
