Elite Transmission update. I refused to have Elite Transmission perform the repair after their attempt to extort even more money out of me. I took the Vehicle to another shop (to be named later) and they replaced so many parts in the transmission it was unbelievable. The transmission mechanic told me that the prior shop replaced only five friction plates. This new shop replaced everything. They told me it was all OEM and showed me the teeth on the plates that were broken off. They replaced those infamous pressure valves too. I have at least a 100 or so parts in a box to used as evidence. I’m completely happy with the work and the professionalism of the other shop. They were very upfront. If you even think about going to Elite Transmission, hit yourself in the head with a hammer. You’ll be doing yourself a favor.

Overpriced unprofessional rude anything bad you can think of that’s what they are. We brought our car to get the transmission rebuild. They took the cat apart and took forever to put it back together… not only that but the car was working worst then before we brought it in! The horn wasn’t working at they STOLE our airbag! Save your money and look for something better

Do not go to this place! When the had my transmisson apart they showed me the parts they would replace they said they would have all of them in a box for me to see.
Well when I went to pick it up they didnt have them! Also there were missing Vacum lines and othe lines not connected correct. I got home and it was leaking fluid. So I had to take it back for a 2^nd time. When I got it back the 2^nd weird noises coming from axle ect, and the Engine light came on again stuck in 2^nd again so took it back.
Got it back the 3^rd time and load noise coming from axle they had jammed the bearing when putting the axle back in. Each time I got it back it road worse and worse load noise’s from front end! also again the vacum line were not connected and one was missing! So I took it back for them to fix the bearing they screwed up. When I came to pick it up very load noises coming from front end again but worse and vacum line not connected correct! They had tore up my front end taking the Trans out all those times! They had my car over a Month! They stole things out of my car.
This place is a RIP OFF!!!
I have owned this car since new I have always taken care of it! I had just had my front end aligned a few months before this and all was good with the parts They had it taken to another shop. The other shop showed me how the trans pan was scaped and dented and the paint rubbed off the lower part of the front of my car. They had bottom my car out during there test drive more than likly coming in the steep drive.
They tore up my control arm bushings and front struts. The guy at the other shop said it appeared they used the control arm to pry on. Funny how it was just at another shop less than 2 months before with a clean bill of health and when I took it there, there were no noise’s coming from any part of my front end!
The shop is a nasty mess oil every were, they made a mess of my car both Mech and the interior with nasty hand prints and oily foot prints
There is more but trust me do not take your car to this place!!!

My experience with «Elite» Transmission Specialists has been a complete nightmare. I decided to check this place out primarily due to its proximity to my house and the google reviews. However, after dealing with this place directly, I’m convinced that the recent positive reviews are from friends of the owner and the negative reviews from ~ 11 months ago are a more accurate depiction of their services. I was experiencing issues with the transmission in my 07 BMW 328i. The owner, David advised that the diagnosis would be free (Lesson one — nothing is really free and I should have paid the $ 110 to the dealer for a real diagnostic). David called back after examining the vehicle and stated that it wasn’t a major problem, and that the cost of the repair would range from $ 700-​$ 1500 which seemed to be a pretty good deal to me. However, he then stated that he would need to conduct further tests which would cost me $ 485. I decided to proceed. After completing the test, he called back and said I needed to rebuild the transmission, which would cost $ 4621. This seemed pretty high, but I’m not very familiar with cars. David assured me that it was a fair price. After getting off the phone with him, I decided to conduct more independent research and confirmed that this price was extremely high. I called David back within 30 minutes and told him I did not wish to have the transmission repaired at his shop. He then told me that he had already ordered and RECEIVED a part that was non-​refundable, which would cost $ 2200 (the drom). So either I could pick the car up and pay him $ 2200 or have the car repaired and pay $ 4600. I asked David why he did not tell me this upfront and he replied that his customers usually prefer not to be overwhelmed with details. At this point, I did not trust him so I asked if I could come to the shop and look at the part. When I arrived along with my uncle, he showed us a part that was covered with oil. It did not appear to be something that he had recently purchased within the hour. However, I felt I did not have any alternatives since I had no way to prove that the part wasn’t new. (He refused to give me the name of the supplier from which it was procured and the actual cost). I ended up paying him to complete the work. The car was supposed to be ready on a Friday, however it wasn’t ready until Wed morning. He also refused to give me a ride from work to his shop in order for me to pay him and pick my car up (even though they gave me a ride when I dropped the car off). The same day that I picked my car up, the transmission light came back on. Fortunately, I was able to trade it in. However, I wasted $ 4600 and received horrible customer service. Also, the warranty is a joke! Initially, David comes off very polite but he is really a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Beware! Please do your due diligence and shop around. If you’re going to spend that type of money, you should receive excellent customer service and know that the job is being done right. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
David — Thanks for your thorough response to my review. However, it’s so unfortunate that yet again you have elected to be dishonest. The claims you made are false. First, you and I both know that it was not a matter of hours before I called you, and that the part you ordered was not recently purchased or new. Also, if I had truly behaved in that manner at your place of business, I’m sure there would have been some type of follow-​up from the authorities since you have all of my information. Finally, I paid for the car in cash. The bottom line is that you saw a young woman with limited knowledge about cars and were in desperate need for a job so you decided to take advantage. I hope you know that your unscrupulous approach to business is unsustainable. You can write false reviews online and get your friends to post reviews on your behalf for so long (I saw that some of your Unilocal reviews were deleted for this very reason), however the quality of your work and treatment of customers is what will matter in the long run.

I went to this place to change my transmission fluid. These guys are legit I tell you!!! The guy came and told me my fluid was still good. Originally, I was getting the special of $ 7.77 but he said my car is using synthetic oil and would be $ 45.00. If it was some other shady place, they wouldn’t have told me it was good and charged me the $ 45. You guys deserve 10 stars for your honesty!!! Kudos.
