Top quality, customized French and English instruction to adults for professional and social objectives. Face to face and online lessons are designed and delivered by Master’s + level experienced teacher for clients’ specific needs, one-​to-​one or group setting, on site and off site locations including company classroom, at client’s office (s) or home in midtown, near town and downtown Houston. Exams prepared for include the DELF, TOEFL and IELTS. Echange also provides travel info and organizes trips to France. Our last exciting trip was to the romantic château and wine region of Languedoc (see website).

History

Established in 2015.

Echange Company Inc. Houston began with the passion and expertise for language teaching of one teacher, Johanna, whose ambition it is to facilitate communication and bridge differences through language acquisition and cultural knowledge.

Business Owner

My name is Johanna and I am director of Echange Company Inc. — A La Carte Services. I am a Bilingual French and English language specialist, cultural trainer and mediator with a Master’s in education and former graduate student at the famed Université Paris IV Sorbonne of Paris, France. I have over twenty years’ teaching experience and have worked with, among others, the Alliance Française, The British Council and Amideast, as well as with a range of corporate clients including Ensco, BMW, Braskem and Colas. As a dual heritage heir, with a Master’s in language teaching, my unique upbringing has helped me to develop educational programs, curricula and successfully impart the necessary skills to facilitate and advance communication in English and in French in professional and social contexts. My role as educator, mediator and facilitator strengthens and promotes cultural understanding.
