A find in NW Houston! The pastries are authentic Italian as we’ve eaten in Italy and NYC and Boston’s North End. The cannolis and cannoli cupcakes are fantastic. You can create your own cannoli to go and that’s a nice treat. The cakes are delicious and the pies are great too. The coffee is Katz so it’s better than lots of coffee houses. Tea is fresh brewed. Pizzas are homemade crust and fresh cheese and homemade sausage. Delicious. Grilled chicken salad is really nice. The sandwiches are fine too. Lasagna with garlic bread(to go) makes dinner easy. Great ambience, quiet reading nook, very friendly helpful service. This is a family-owned and operated small business so you feel like home. As you can tell, we’ve been here many times and it’s a favorite for 1 on 1 networking or 2 — 4 people for lunch or meetings. BTW you can BYOB no corkage fee and enjoy pizza night!

For 30 years I have been trying out pastry shops in Houston looking for a place that served the high quality cakes and cookies found in the German and Italian bakeries in New York to no avail: until I found Drew’s. The quality is spot on. The German style crumb cake is one of the best I ever had. Besides the Italian favorites like cannolis, Drew’s has obscure Sicilian treats like sfogliatelle(a flaky ricotta filled pastry) and pignoli(an almond paste cookie with pine nuts). The lunch Panini’s and pizzas are great too. The ambience is like your relaxing in someone’s den. Its so good I drive all the way from the galleria.

I have ordered from Drew in the past for my baby shower cake and cookies for bridesmaids and LOVED them. Recently I ordered cookies for bridesmaids again and received the most horrible service EVER!!! Drew lost a HUGE order from me as I was planning on ordering 400 sugar cookies from him for my wedding. I ordered 8 sugar cookies about a week ago and they were THROWNAWAY!!! I paid $ 30 for the cookies and NEVER received them. The order was taken initially by someone who apparently was not supposed to take orders. He charged me and that was that. The next day I called to add a cookie and was then told by Drew that the order was canceled and never submitted to make them. So he re took my order and informed me that they would be done a day after I needed them. So I agreed to pick them up on a Saturday. I called to pick them up to ensure they were ready and was told that they were no longer there and they were throw out because they needed the fridge space!!! Drew was VERY rude. I could not even believe it. I have never been treated so bad. I pray he finds kindness in himself and nobody else is treated the way is was. He stated he was neither going to re make my cookies or refund me $ 30. Shame on him.

It’s Ok… I think what would help is someone that really enjoys creating specialty coffee drinks.

Showed up at 8:40PM on a Friday for an after birthday dinner cupcake. Rudely informed before ordering that this would have to be a to go order. So we left and went to RAO’s. Will not be back.

Lovely bakery! I’ve pass it every day but I don’t stop often enough. Everything is always fresh. I’ve only had bakery items but would love to try the pizzas. Recently purchased the King Cake and it was worth every penny! Cannoli cupcakes are original and delicious!

I love the pastries, great pizza… but, their coffee could be better. Not hot enough and the taste is a bit weak for a good cappuccino or a latte… environment is friendly, definitely a place to go buy some nice Italian pastries in Cypress though… Just better your coffee please…

Sweet or savory they have it here. All kinds of wonderful baked goods and pastries. But their food is delicious and everyone is very friendly. I have tried several items on the menu and my top two favorites would be the margherita pizza and the Italian panini. Great food. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. What more can you ask for?

This place is amazing! Wish I lived closer to here but happy I don’t at the same time. Ordered a barrage of deserts and everything here was great! A+ service! Everything is worth a try, especially the pizza!

Nice décor. Laidback and casual but relaxing at the same time. We ordered tiramisu, Napoleon, and the turtle cheesecake Tiramisu wasn’t bad but there’s a whole cup of it. Enough to be shared. Napoleon was OK with layers of some kind of red jam, maybe strawberry and a layer of like bulvarian cream between flaky layers of pastry. Top layer of icing was too sweet for me. The jam and cream layer wasn’t bad, sweet but not too bad with the pastry layers. pastry was kind of dry. and too many layers at that. Turtle cheesecake was the best out of what we ordered. Thick layer of cheesecake between layers of chocolate and what looks like a caramel toffee crust and topping. First thing we devoured. Not bad of a place.

My classmates recommended me to try this place and i was real excited when I walked in. The furnishing was so homey and I felt like I was in a cabin enjoying a nice cup of cocoa. It was really cute. TIRAMISU I love that the tiramisu wasn’t overly sweet, but it was a bit too thick for my liking. I like my tiramisu light and fluffy. CANNOLI The filling of the cannoli was perfect. It had this cinnamon taste and it tasted amazing. The outer crisp was perfect for the first bite and you get this gush of sweetness in your mouth. ECLAIR The éclair was a bit strange to me. I didn’t like the filling. It was overly sweet, but at the same time the taste wasn’t there for me. It fell flat and no matter how much I tried to like it. I couldn’t. Overall experience: The service was alright. The girl that helped us rushed us even though there was no one behind us. It was quiet and only one other couple there. There were a lot of pastries to choose from, but from what I ate I think the others would only be about the same. There was nothing special that would bring me back, but I might give it another try if I’m in the area.

They have all kinds of sweets that are delicious and authentic. The family is from Italy and makes the food fresh daily in the shop. Some things such as the cannolis can only be bought by the pound but the cookies can be bought individually. The coffee is good but over priced. They also have breakfast sandwiches, soups, and other warmer foods. The worst part of this place was the lighting. It was dimly lit and kind of hard to see. There is free wifi though!

First time visit. My family has been raving about this place for quite time and I finally made it. I had a café mocha, an éclair, and sprinkled butter cookies. All are absolutely delicious! There no bitterness to the coffee at all. The cream filling in the éclair is absolutely amazing and a definitely a must try. The ambiance is exactly what I would expect from an Italian café… Comfortable and homey with of course Siriusly Sinatra playing in the background. I look forward to my next visit so I can try their crumb cake.

I believe this place deserves four stars, but I am docking that fourth star due to the location and how deep down off Louetta Road it is. I think location is key! My man and I went out looking for sweets and coffee and I Unilocaled«deserts» and Drew’s came up! I can say the coffee here is legit! We also got a few of their cupcakes. I tried the Chocolate Cannoli cupcake and my man got the Salted Caramel Pretzel! Both were very fantastic! It had a very cute, home-style feel to the shoppe! Definitely has a lot of potential! If you want some great, not over priced like Starbucks coffee, check them out!

This place was featured on TLC’s «Bakery Boss,» so I decided to stop on my way home from IAH. I live in Sugar Land, so it’s quite a drive for me, but perfect for going home from the airport, as it’s only about 5 – 10 minutes off of the Beltway(exit 249). The extra 5 – 10 minutes is absolutely worth it. When I visited, I did see Drew in the kitchen, hands on, making his own pastries. It’s nice to know that despite the tv fame, he didn’t hire people to do his work for him. I bought an anise pizzale, which didn’t impress me too much, but I’d never tried one before. In fact, I am not sure I really know what anise is, but it’s a VERY strong flavor, almost like licorice. If you don’t like anise, don’t buy the anise pizzale. This seems like common sense, but like I said, I was just willing to try. Drew definitely has the cannoli cream down to an art. I travel 80% of my life now all over the country, including Boston’s Little Italy in the North End. Drew’s cannoli is DELICIOUS and soooo much more flavorful than the popular Mike’s Pastry in Boston. It’s definitely sweeter(I thought Mike’s was tasteless), and the texture is just right. I’ve had cannolis in North Carolina, Orlando, etc. at various Italian restaurants, and I must admit, Drew’s is the best. As a result, I would highly recommend both the cannoli and the cannoli cupcake at Drew’s. For a total of the three items(cannoli, cannoli cupcake, and anise pizzale), the bill was about $ 8 and some change. This may seem pricey, but on par with speciality bakeries nowadays and totally worth it!
