Dr Gleem Car Wash & Lube Center

I was having my car washed when I noticed that there was an automotive repair place behind the car wash. It is called SANA Automotive. I went to the manager, Nolan Efurd, and asked if he could repair my tail light. He said yes and immediately ordered a Chevrolet part on the phone. He had it in two days later. When I came in, it took less than 15 minutes for the replacement. I didn’t even have to get out of my car because they came out to me. Great work! Great experience!

I think they do a good job on the detailing. However, I would recommend having them go light on the air freshener…
I’m not the biggest fan of the oil changes so I take my car elsewhere.

Went to get a wash and an oil change. First off I felt really rushed. I didn’t have time to read what wash services were offered. I decided to go with the oil change and the gleem 2, i guess. It wasn’t very clear on what to do after i exited my car. I walked to the oil change center. It looked like a little bar area where people were standing around. I was told a female would hep me. She helped she wrote up my ticket wrong. I had to swipe my card twice. My seat cleaning wasn’t included on the ticket. But it showed up when they rung it up. I wanted someone to explain it to me. But all i got was attitude like i was trying to get over. After all that it took a whole 2hrs to finish my car. Plus my seats were still wet after they returned it to me. Will I go back never.

I went to the location on 249. I didn’t pay any attention to the job done on the inside until after I drove away. Apparently, one of the employees was having a bad day and decided to rip 3 holes in the leather while they were «cleaning». The place is too sketchy for me to want to go back and complain. I can’t believe I even tipped them!

OK, so I was in the neighborhood and needed to get my car washed.
Short version: This «Mobil» car wash doesn’t take Mobil cards and does a mediocre job amidst a Joel Osteen-​esque revival environment. Stay away.
Long version: After all that rain we had, my Mazda 3 needed some TLC. I had taken my car here before, but that was a couple of years ago — and at the time they did a pretty good job.
Well, somewhere between 2012 and yesterday, things went south at Dr. Gleem. Let me elaborate.
After pulling my car in — and politely discouraging the obligatory upselling that the crew try to do to you — I went inside to pay my ticket.
Now, back in 2012, this was a Shell station and they let you pay with your Shell gas card. Today it’s owned by Mobil, so I thought the same rules would apply, right? Wrong.
Cashier: «That will be $ 16.25.»
Me: «OK» (Handing her my Mobil card)
Cashier: «I’m sorry, but we don’t take Mobil.»
Me: «You don’t? Why not?»
Cashier: «We just don’t.»
Me: «So, let me get this straight — you sell Mobil gas, you have a big Mobil sign outside, but you don’t take Mobil cards. Am I correct?»
Cashier: «Yeah.»
(I hand her my Discover card. She runs it and I sign the receipt.)
Me: «Thanks.» (Inwardly I add: «For nothing!»)
Cashier: «Have a blessed day!»
OOO-​Kay. Fine. Whatever.
So I walk to where the cars are being dried. I pass the «Prayer Wall» (just like the one in Old Jerusalem, but MUCH smaller), the religious magazines, the prayer cards and head to the outside pavilion, where KSBJ is on the air and people are calling in between Christian rock songs to testify to their faith.
NOTE: I am not anti-​religion and I do go to church. However, I find this in-​your-​face type of fundamentalism a bit off-​putting. I am no more comfortable around this stuff than I am at the LGBT Pride parade, where people literally «let it all hang out.» I do fancy that I have a sense of decorum — and there is a proper place and time for everything. Like Smokey Lonesome said in the film Fried Green Tomatoes: «I believe in God, but I don’t think you have to go crazy to prove it.» My sentiments exactly. But I digress.
After waiting a God-​awful length of time (yes, I know what I just said), my car was finally ready. The job they did was not exactly a testament to the phrase «cleanliness is next to godliness.»
The vacuum job missed some areas in the backseat and on the floor; visible streaks were on the windshield; the «new car fragrance» that I had purchased was not evident; and to top it off, my car settings were all messed up when someone who was wiping down the interior hit a few buttons. ARGH!!!
So to sum it up (using Church Lady voice): «Let’s see now… we have a car wash that preaches but doesn’t deliver. Now, who do we know as being The Deceiver. Could it be… oh, I don’t know… SATAN??»
No, it’s Dr. Gleem. And it’s not that special.

I took my husband’s truck in for a wash and detailing. Since I had waited for over an hour for it to be completed (others who had come in after me for car detailing were long gone), I was hoping for great results. After I was finally signaled that it was ready, I noticed they had not removed the duct tape residue on the inside of the passenger windshield. When I pointed it out, the attendant told me I hadn’t told them to remove it but they could get it off with a razor blade. I had an appointment, so I told him I would take care of it. Several people wiped down the truck for an hour and couldn’t deal with tape residue?! I then stopped to get gas and looked over into the bed which back by the cab was covered in wet pine needles. I was so upset that they had not removed the pine needles before washing the truck, I drove back to complain. The same attendant told me they don’t clean truck beds because the beds may have a lot of junk in them. He should have told me when I ordered the detailing not to expect a clean bed because I had no idea it was not part of the wash! I was paying an extra dollar for the wash because it was a pick-​up. That extra dollar can’t go to blowing out pine needles?! Another attendant did take the truck and sweep the wet needles out. Initially, I was going to wash the truck myself. I wish I had because I would have done a much better job!

Went to Jiffy Lube (not a Jiffy Lube review… hang on…) today to get my oil changed, and they told me that whoever had changed my oil last had stripped the drain plug and they couldn’t get it off. So I needed to go back to whoever that was and have them take it off /​replace it. Turns out the last place I had my oil changed was Dr. Gleem. My husband had taken it, so he called and yelled at Ben, who happened to be the unlucky person to answer the phone. Ben said to bring in my car and he’d take care of it. So, I brought it in and Ben was able to remove/​replace the drain plug and change the oil. He was very nice and helpful — when he noticed my low tire light was on, he offered to fill up my tires for me, which was nice.
I thought the whole drain plug thing was a little strange, but Ben was very helpful and I was in and out pretty quick. Generally pleased with this place. I’ve had car washes here before too, no problems. Can’t say anything about the food as I haven’t eaten here since the café changed.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. They missed spots all over my truck. It’s a waste of money.

I have to say that I was impressed with this place when I first arrived. The place has a nice little restaurant, hair salon, shoe shining stand, and a nice outside waiting area. We were welcomed with nice alternative christian music, which I didn’t mind at all. I paid additional for all of the bells and whistles car cleaning treatment. The car came out quick as well. It wasn’t till I got to my car that I started to regret my decision of going to this place. I was disappointed as I noticed all kinds of dirt and spots that they missed. I didn’t even have to look very hard to find. I don’t even think they touched the rims. There were even a few candy wrappers on the floor, and I don’t even eat candy. Maybe the guy cleaning tossed them in there. If you want a mediocre car wash with a nice waiting area then go here, but if you want a quality clean go somewhere else. I hope they can get the quality up. I would really like to go here on a regular basis. For now i will clean my car myself or go elsewhere.

First visit today after receiving a gift card from a family member. José took great care of me and my car. Could not use my gift card because I added additional services (that was strange, why not just prorate the cost), but the did a great job washing, waxing and conditioning the leather.

Never again!
I don’t know if the management or ownership has changed but this business has taken a dive in quality.
You wouldn’t know by how busy it is though.
The attention to detail is obviously lacking and I don’t want to trust my vehicle to the staff here any longer.

Not sure what’s going on with this car wash seems as though it’s gone down hill? Maybe their too busy for details and maybe the machine needs repaired. Paid $ 18 plus tip and bugs were still on my car and inside not completely cleaned. I had to go home and finish the job plus when they drove my car out they left muddy foot prints on drivers mat I have light tan interior. Not worth the money.

Groovy little spot. Good service, and, the ultimate bonus, you can get your inspection done, an oil change, or a killer burger. They have Coke in a bottle, a hair salon for men and women, and you can get a shoe shine. Or, you can just sit outside on the patio and relax. You can even post prayers on a prayer wall, get a free Bible (English or Spanish) and get saved! We don’t call this place the ‘rub and tug’ for nothing.

Worst car wash I have ever had. I got the $ 22.99 package and they didn’t even vacuum the inside… They just folded the back seat down so I couldn’t see it! Outside of the car is still dirty and that’s after I walked around the car with the guy pointing out more then 10 spots. I eventually gave up and just left. Figured it would be easier to just do it at my house. I highly don’t recommend this place. The place across the street is one you drive through for $ 5 and it is a much better wash.

They are always helpful and quick. I have been coming here for months and I haven’t had problems worth mentioning. It’s a convenient location and I feel like I can trust the staff with my car.

Went for my regular oil change, pulled up and the car wash was not operating today so received a rain check, pulled up to get an oil change. Staff seems like they are all new and just chit chatting away with each other. No professionalism I usually receive when I have come many many times before. The main building is getting renovated and the restaurant that I use to frequent was said to be purchased by mighty burgers owner and will change.
The old change was quick because I was the only car there but service could be better. I hope this is not going to be the new trend with the new changes this place is going through.

Pretty decent. It’s nice that you can grab something to eat at the café while you are there. I try to get there early before the craziness sets in and have had good service and attention to detail seems fine. Been coming here regularly for about 8 months. Every once in awhile I catch some window spots or a missed door jamb wipe, but they quickly correct without a fuss. I tried one of those «we’ll come to your house and wash your car» services — the second time the guy asked if I knew where to buy drugs, figured this was not the best option LOL.

Ok ok ok — I’m confused! Everywhere I look inside I see scripture & Mother Mary & I get in my car to leave & I have 2 titty bar flyers on the passenger seat?! Which is it?
Prayer & cleansing or prayer & more dirty ness?

I paid $ 40.99 for a car wash and wax. They did not wipe down my dash, nor anything else on the inside. My wheels were not thoroughly cleaned and packed dirt was still on them. I noticed this after I left but should have looked at this before I left and got a refund.

This place is pretty solid… not only is it a good, full service car wash with lots of ancillary services like wax and interior cleans, but it’s also a delicious café, a barber shop, a shoe shine, and an oil change facility. Some serious convenience there.
BOTTOM LINE: Great car wash… sandwich, shoe shine, and haircut!
