The name brings to mind golf. So, brace yourself(caps are for folks unfamiliar with golf terms). Use a Driver down Gears Road. It’s a Fairway down, and Breaks to the Left before the Approach. The parking lot is paved, but old; so, some spots are in the Rough. Although there is a drive-through window, where people can Play Through, I entered the Club House to see the choices. They also sell kolaches. There was only one person in front of me in line, so I was not concerned about anyone trying to use a Wedge to get closer. After that other customer ordered(who was not Teed Off), I was Away. So, I ordered a dozen donuts variety(they don’t have as big a variety as Shipley’s or others) and some cinnamon rolls. Standard Green Fee is charged for donuts as with other donut shops. I had no Caddie to help, so I carry them out. At the office I tried a chocolate glazed donut(i.e. has Hole in One), as it was a Gimmee. The rest of the guys took on the Back Nine. I adjusted my Grip and Stance, and took a bite. It was soft and not too sugary, so I did not have to replace the Divot in the donut. As for the cinnamon roll, I Sliced it, since it was so big(6″ diameter) and had to share. It tasted more like a donut than a traditional(like Cinnabon) roll, and needed more cinnamon. I give this entry a Bogey. This donut shop is on Par with others. My Handicap is that I like the soft texture and less sugar and grease, so that outweighs the limitations on variety and the inferior cinnamon roll.
