History

Established in 1989.

As a CPA, I soon realized that my clients also needed help with investment planning, retirement planning and other important financial decisions. I didn’t like the advice they were being given. Who else could provide a better platform for financial planning than a tax professional that also had the expertise to help in this very important area.

I decided to earn the creditionals I believe are so important in being able to assist my clients in their financial planning decisions. First the most recognized creditional, CFP (Certified Financial Planner) followed by the PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) the only Financial Planning creditional recognized by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and finally the CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) educating me in matters that are important to seniors like Social Security, Long Term Care Insurance and much more. In addition, I acquired securities, insurance and advisory licenses to compliment my other skills.

Business Owner

Diane Halloway graduated from Troy State University in Alabama, summa cum laude, with a double major in accounting and computer science. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), and is accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a specialist in Personal Financial Planning (PFS). She holds both insurance and securities licenses; and is a Registered Representative with H. D. Vest Financial Services, the formost company offering financial services through trusted, ethical and highly educated tax and financial professionals.

To maintain her expertise, Diane completes over 200 hours a year in continuing education in tax and all areas of financial planning including retirement, college funding, estate planning, risk management, investing and eldercare.

Diane is a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Assoc.
