First visit. Everything is delicious. Ordered the butter chicken and barbecue chicken. Awesome flavor. Great food! Excellent prices.

This location is still OPEN! The husband & wife owners of the food truck opened a brick & mortar restaurant in the same location. The truck has been sold but will still be there awhile. The restaurant name has not changed. Same great food now with much better hours. They’re open Sunday-​Monday-​Wednesday-​Thursday from 11AM-​11PM. Friday & Saturday 11AM-​12MN. Closed Tuesday. We went in for for a light snack/​meal & food was good as always.

Been going here for years now, one of my favorite places for a quick snack or a full dinner. The consistency in the taste is always on point. Highly recommend this place. Chicken bun kebab is my personal fav.

Had the chicken tikka masala and paneer masala. Delicious sauce, adjustable spiciness, delicious rice with variety available. Naan was fresh and soft. Very nice family, and moving into the building next door. Good place to frequent.

My husband and I ate at Desi for the first time today-​Delicious! We love that they had a variety of Indian food that you don’t see at most trucks. We suggest getting a few items to share. Great portions for a low cost. Our favorites were the paneer roll and the samosa chaat. On top of having tasty food the customer service was bar none. Already looking forward to coming back!

This is my second visit, and I enjoy the food a lot! The Chicken Boti burger is very delicious and I enjoyed the Chicken Tikka. It is in a bit off an odd location, but food and service is great!

Really good place to go, worth going a bit out of the way for.

My warehouse crew, my business partner and I ordered food here and at another truck based on Unilocal reviews alone. It’s cold in Houston and thought it would be nice to buy dinner for all the guys working late. We ordered chicken corn soup, naan, butter chicken. I have to be honest here. We loved the naan but the food along with the soup was too spicy for us. In comparison, the other truck/​trailers food was more flavorful. However, the people here were very nice and friendly.

This place is out in the middle of no where. We came here with some family, and were pleasantly surprised. First of all its rare for a food truck to be open at 9:30 pm on a sunday night, and secondly, to have seating.
We had a decent wait before we were served our food, but we were told before hand that it takes some time because they try to prepare as much of the food fresh as possible.
The food came out in generous portions, and the price points were very fare. I will be back if I find myself fiennning for a delicious kabob roll. Their parathas are also delicious for coming out of a food truck! Next time I will call ahead.

I have tried both the Butter Chicken and the tikka masala. Both were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for good Indian food in the area.

I used to go to tasty bites Desi Grill down the road but they changed chefs. I’m trying this place for the first time. I ordered chicken seekh kabob, tikka masala and plain naan. The seekh kabobs were good and they came with grilled onions, grilled peppers and grilled tomatoes. The Tikka masala was also good but tasted a little different than other tikka masala I’ve had. My understanding is that there is not a set recipe for tikka masala so it changes depending on the chef. The naan was really good as was the rice. There was a good amount of food on both items so it should be enough to fill you up. Overall it wasn’t as good as tasty bites used to be but a lot better than they were last time I went. I will definitely go back to this place and try something else on their menu. If you are in the area and want good Indian, come here. You’ll enjoy the food.

I got to know about this place from a friend, so we decided to give it a try last week. This place kinda reminds u of dhabas back home. And food is really good. Goat seekh kabab roll is awesome! Nice place to hangout for late night food cravings!

Tried this place since it opened at late night. Friendly owners and great food. I have to say it tastes much better than some Indian restaurants in Houston. The location is easy to find. They also accept credit card.

I love there butter chicken. One thing I love them is there food is so best and cheapest in town at least give them a try

Love love love their chicken seekh kabab rolls and chicken bun kabab. The Mix chaat and Samosa chaat are amazing as well. good price and amazing food.

This food truck is on outskirts of Houston (humble area). Decided to give this a try as several popular places are closed on Mondays in Houston and wanted to avoid the drive to downtown.
Owners were friendly, seems family run. They took their time to prepare the items fresh. Not too many veggie options, but still whatever was there seemed nice. I bet their Pakistani bbq items are awesome.
Loved the paneer roll, aloo bun kabab and dabeli. Paneer roll was a whole wheat kathi roll with paneer, potatoes, onions marinated in a yogurt based gravy. Loved it, wish I got more.
The aloo bun kabab was like a veggie burger with a masala potato patty and spicy. Nothing like this is available in Austin.
They have seating space (about 3 tables but the surrounding is a little sad) not fun to hangout. Easy to find on map though. Pricing was great, really cheap still well packed (no styrofoam) and accept cash only.
They don’t have a website but I think you won’t go wrong getting almost anything here. Four stars from me.

Came here by a fluke. Drove past and couldn’t believe me eyes so I turned in…
Don’t be scared. I usually would be the LAST person to try a desi food stand. Do not want to get sick!
But these guys… They are awesome ! Ask them to turn on the music and enjoy you lil indian oasis in a little tent eating delicious street food made fresh to order and dobg forget to ask for their squeeze bottle of fresh chutney. They don’t serve rice though and you can bring your own booze.
If you try just one thing try the chaat.
It’s my hidden little gem, so glad to have found it .
Only downsides: it’s pay by cash only, someone really needs to tell them about the square card app, limited room not recommended for a group of large people if you plan to eat in their lil tent thingy,

Up the road their is a similar desi food stand in a school bus thingy inside by a had station but because I can’t look in and see them cooking like I can with this one I’m just not brave enough to try the other.

I always pass by this food truck, but it’s only open at night. Tonight on my way home, I saw it was open and decided to stop by for a snack. Looking at their menu and the pics of their offerings on the side of the truck, there were so many good options here. But I’ve never had a bun kabab (burger) before so thought I’d give it a try first. Ordered a chicken bun kabab which they grilled fresh and quick. While waiting, you’ll notice it’s in a parking lot of a realtor across the street from a shopping center where a Cambodian banquet hall and a Vietnamese sandwich shop used to be. Not exactly the safest part of town at night. There’s some outdoor seated areas including a table that’s covered, kinda cozy feel to it. Burger’s ready. Looking at the bun, didn’t look like anything special other than a grilled hamburger bun. There was chicken, some red spice, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickle, and onion. Tasted pretty good. The red spices weren’t overbearing but it does linger in your mouth for quite awhile which I like. The chicken meat was very tasty. The vegetables were very fresh. Only thing detracting this was the hamburger buns. It wasn’t bad, but I kept wanting to eat this with naan instead of a hamburger bun. It was very distracting, enough that I decided to eat the chicken and veggies without the bread. I probably won’t order the burger again, but the meat was very tasty. Next time I’ll order some grilled meat platters (goat chops look good) with chaat or samosas. They make their food quick and were friendly, a great alternative to Lazeeza.
