This D&B used to be a great spot back in the day, but it is slowly starting to lose its appeal. There are 2 other locations in town, which have more to offer and does not look as outdated as this one. The parking lot is big, but the parking spots are tiny. I would not feel safe at night if the parking lot were full and I had to park away from the building. The food was consistent with the other locations and did not disappoint. This time around we were there for a child’s birthday party, so the host ordered a bunch of appetizers. It was a Sunday, so they had deals for apps on game days. Can’t beat that! The game room to me seems congested and just has an old feel to it. The games are consistent with the other locations and are fairly new with some of the classics sprinkled between. Overall, if it weren’t for the party we were attending, the Baybrook location is where it’s at and closer to home.

I don’t know where to start. I’m going to try to line item them to keep it short and quick. 1. Arrived and hostess wouldn’t seat us until 75% of party arrived. Not a big deal at the moment because many places have this policy. I mention it now because of everything else that follows. 2. When 75% of party arrived hostess told us we had to wait because wait staff was switching shifts. I asked for a time frame and she said she couldn’t give me one. 3. When seated, the waitress took forever to take drink orders. 4. I order steamed edamame and waitress asked me if it was a drink. LOL. When the edamame came out, it was oily and greasy. It definitely wasn’t healthy and the oil and grease didn’t make it taste any better. 5. When our main order arrived, one of our guests didn’t receive her turkey burger and I didn’t get my balsamic vinaigrette dressing for my salad. They simply delivered the food and left. I assumed they were returning with the rest of our order, but no. The waitress finally came by to check on us and I told her our problem. 6. She checked up on burger and said it was on it’s way. She came back with oil and vinegar. I told her I asked for balsamic vinaigrette and she said«well that’s what they gave me in the back.» 7. When the turkey burger finally came out, the bun had mold on it!!! In addition to all of the above, the service was just terrible, food was gross and we were in constant need of drinks. I complained to the manager who ended up comping our entire meal. Getting our meal comped does not fix the bad experience. We were there to celebrate a 16th birthday and it was just embarrassing to our party. We were embarrassed that we suggested Dave n Busters. I’ll return to play games, but that is it. I will NEVER return for food or drinks.

Shittiest service in the world. I wish I could give them zero stars! They have only 1 guy running the whole bar? Who in there crazy mind thought it was gonna work? The same guy is responsible for taking food orders. Never ever coming back again.

This place is terrible! Service was not given to us for about half an hour before being acknowledged. Water came 20 minutes later. Utensils after our food. Food was so bland for a chain restaurant that should have everything tasting at least franchise-decent. To top it off, a roach was casually hanging out with us on the chair next to me… How long he was there has yet to be determined. Gross! Stay away from this nastiness.

Awful, just plain awful. These people don’t know how to manage a restaurant. There’s a hour wait with plenty of tables open and when we finally sat down it took us 30 mins to get service. Don’t come here during the weekend.

This was my first time to ever go to a Dave and Busters. I was excited by all the hype you see in the TV commercials. When I walked in, there was no one to greet me. I walked up to the front counter and told the lady that this is my first time to be at a Dave and Busters and I wanted a table. She told me to go and find a table to sit at and that a server would be with me. I waited for 20 minutes and no one ever came. I looked around and saw several waiters and a couple of people that looked like managers but still no one came to greet me or serve me. I got up and left. After 20 minutes of not being waited on, I’ve made my decision to never visit this establishment again, ever. Terrible service.

My husband and I always come to this Dave and busters. Love the games and the atmosphere. It can get really loud sometimes! I have to agree with the other reviews, the service sucks! I love getting mojitos or the watermelon margarita! But they take forever to make one drink! The carpet and walls do need to be updated! I love how they revamped the prize area! Hopefully they have plans for the rest of the place!

I don’t know if the menu changed, but the food was surprisingly good. We had the sliders, pretzel pizza and philly. All good. All fresh and hot. The whole table was surprised about the food. My husband loves D&B, so we go often. This location is cleaner and feels safer than the Richmond location. There is also plenty of parking. Wednesdays are half price on games. They have multiple happy hours during the week, so check out the website for deals.

My least favorite of the now 3 locations in the Houston area. It is old, needs upgrades and renovation, and just has a dirty, stale feeling when you walk inside, and especially when you go through the tunnel to the gaming area. I mainly come here these days just as an intermediary location between eating out and other activities later in the evening, not as my final destination. It has a convenient location on the outskirts of the Galleria area. If you’re into tropical — themed drinks, try one of their new tiki drinks in the main bar area, within the gaming room. They have to be better than a ridiculously nasty Moscow mule or the disgusting version of a cranberry and vodka they served me recently. Oh yeah, watch out for one of the guitars on the Guitar Hero video games, it is broken.

Went around 3pm today(Monday) to play pool and grab a couple drinks. Pool table was STICKY all the way around! The place was near empty so there was plenty of opportunity for it to be cleaned. Mosquitos! I understand it’s still summer-ish but gosh I got 6 bites on my legs in a short time. That being said I was ready to leave as quickly as possibly and when we went to pay at the register, the clerk said«do me a favor and go to the back area to pay for your food»??? What an inconvenience that they don’t have a way(or employees willing to do the footwork) to pay for everything at once. We had to go find a bartender in the back to pay for our food even though someone took our order in the pool table area. Then we had to show her the receipt in order to pay for the pool table and leave. Annoying experience!

I was there with a large group for a bachelor party dinner. All I order was a side of mashed potatoes, which cost $ 3.49 plus tax. I gave the waitress a five-dollar bill, and did not receive any change. For the rest of the night, she never came back with my change. I assumed the waitress took the change for the tip, which is not a good assumption to make. Let the patron determine the tip amount rather than the server. Full disclosure: I am a UT football fan. I went there from 2010 – 2013. My group and I also watched the UT-Cal football game on 9⁄19. Behind us were some Cal fans. However, there were also young children there who were also cal fans(I assumed these children were related to one of the older Cal fans). Constantly, they would loudly and randomly say ‘Cali’ and ‘Go California’ very loudly. I felt as if they were openly pestering my group and I. After a particular great play by Cal, these children SCREAMED at the top of their lungs! And kicked the booth! They were very loud, and other patrons turned to see what the commotion was. At no point did any staff try to contain this. These children were all over the place and very disruptive. I would expect the staff to make ANY sort of effort to prevent loud outbursts, yet they did not, and these children continued to be disruptive. TL;DR — server stole my money; staff let chaos run amok without any effort to contain it

Ok, so I’m sitting here now for a birthday party get together. I’m just going to get straight to the point on this review. I can’t when short cut corners to say this place is the best when clearly it is not. The waiter is a lost cause. He doesn’t know anything about the menu, doesn’t know jack crap about why the food is burnt. Doesn’t know any knowledge if why he’s here rather than for a paycheck. These businesses keep hiring people for the hourly money needing a paycheck. When are you going to find someone who works and has some care to the establishment they work for? You hire a crappy worker you get crappy service. Then you have crappy reviews from crappy people like me who couldn’t wait to write a review. I’m sitting here pissed off that I just dropped damn near $ 400 for someone to talk to me crazy because I simply asked him if there was anything that can be done with my steak over my pasta. Pasta came out with 4 slices of sirloin steak. Out of the 4 I clearly ate 1.5 pieced and left the other pieces bc it was so charred and burnt on the outside that it was inedible and bitter. I told my waiter. I don’t need a refund, I don’t need an exchange I just need you to relay my message to your cook that I ordered medium rare on my steak and got charred burn pieces. His response ** there’s nothing that I can do bc there’s 2 pieces of steak left on your plate. I said sir, the plate came with 4 slices of steaks. He laughed in my face. I asked was there something funny? I don’t need a refund. I just wanted you to pass on the message so the cook doesn’t mess up someone else’s order. This waiter(*** pounds his hands on his thighs and looked at me like I was RETARDED and said. I got you. I got you. walked off like he was ready to charge at me. I have a party of 16 people. This wasn’t a birthday rental, we just came in all at once and decided this was where we wanted to eat dinner. Sike, never again. This looks really bad to hire a bunch of thugs paints down to their bottom buttocks walking around with no care in the world just zoned out milking the company and returning the money spending customers with HORRIBLESERVICE. on a good note, props to the new card swipe system. Props to no more holding tickets. Floors are cleaned. Air conditioner is working well. But zero for customer service. I’m gonna end this with the waiters name. twas my icing on the cake. ANDRE

Today I went to Dave and Busters after not having been there in 7 or so years. As a kid, my dad would take my brother and I there and let us roam around while he watched sports. haha. It was always a blast! Well to my surprise, the place has not changed at all. The flooring, walls, games, food, etc is all the exact same as I remember. This may sound dingy and outdated(ok it kinda is) but what nostalgia it created! I thoroughly enjoyed myself today as I played shuffleboard with my boyfriend. Its under $ 8 for an hour of shuffleboard, which is a great price. The rest of the place is pretty pricy, but fun. Overall, I have a soft spot in my heart for this place. I think the food is yummy and the games are fun.

They«didn’t carry anymore» not 1 but 2 beers we asked for. Update your menus, please. The games are fun and i like not having actual tickets to tote around. There’s a good variety of things to play and I didn’t see any broken games, so it’s kept up and the place is clean. The bathrooms were a mess though and the food is not very good. Just greasy bar food. Valet is a nice option for only $ 5. And they have a ton of tvs. Plus the Galaga. My boo loves him some Galaga.

This place is disgusting. I’ve never been to Dave & Buster’s before, but a friend suggested a double date of drinks and games here– and after seeing commercials of it and looking over the menu, I thought it sounded like a fun idea! So we get there, found a non-valet parking spot even though it seemed crowded, and that was a good start. Then, we meet our friends who are sitting down… Who have apparently been waiting 10 minutes for a server. We sit down, and wait an additional 15 minutes for someone to say«oh, you don’t have a server? Give me a minute and I’ll get your drink order.» 10 minutes later, she gets our drink order. We all order alcoholic beverages. She comes back with 2 waters about 5 minutes later, when we have 4 people at our table and says«did y’all say you wanted waters?» We say no, but that’s okay we’ll take them… Too bad she didn’t bring 4 waters. About 10 – 15 minutes later, she brings us our alcoholic beverages with the ice already half melted from sitting at the bar for too long, watering down the drink. We order our food– two orders of quesadillas, a salad, and fish and chips, and nachos as an appetizer. HERE’S WHEREITGETSREALLYGOOD: About 5 minutes after we order our food, all the waiters and servers are congregating over by the server station, and the small child sitting at the table behind us vomits on the floor. The people at the table look and see it, decide not to clean up their child’s vomit, and instead decide to move and not tell anyone. The people besides them, and our table, look around for someone to tell. No servers by the tables, of course, so the table gets up to the congregation of servers in the corner, and tells them. All the servers faces change to visible repulsion, some go tell other servers. No one does anything. The vomit sits there for 10 minutes. Our table is repulsed, we grab our server when we see her and tell her about the vomit, and order another round of drinks because it had been awhile and our drinks were empty and they took so long in the first place that we figure we’d have to wait more. She tells a couple people, 5 minutes later there’s a caution sign and someone pretends to sweep it up a little, stops, and leaves the vomit again. 10 minutes later the same server comes back to sweep it up more. Another server brings out a tray of nachos and another appetizer. We say yes, we got the nachos, and then say maybe another table got the other appetizer. The server gives us the nachos, looks visibly confused, asks the table next to us if they got the other appetizer, they say yes, but they got nachos too. Too late, we already thought they were ours and started eating them. Maybe 10 minutes later, our food comes out, and of course with the nachos that we had ordered as an appetizer. The salad looks fine, the fish & chips were disappointing, and the quesadillas look terrible. We ask for our check. We needed it split, so when she brings it back the first time we apologize and ask her to split it. She put the nachos on the wrong receipt. We don’t care, we’re mentally done and we just want to get out of the restaurant part to play games. We wanted to make sure the manager knew about the vomit and how no one cleaned it up for at least 30 minutes, so we have the cashier call a manager. The manager comes wreaking of cigarette smoke and barely says anything, hardly even apologizing for the completely unsanitary practices and conditions of the restaurant, very unprofessional. The table that left with the vomiting kid apparently just moved to the gaming part because there was more of the same white, cheerio-filled kid vomit by the ATM. I was relieved when we left. This place made me want to Lysol myself down and bathe in sanitizer from beginning to end.

Friends and i decided to have an evening here and grab a bite to eat since they serve food. First abd last mistake of my life. The waiter was almost non existent have to fend for ketchup(bottled) from other tables that have not been cleaned if yet, because there was no one to ask for anything meaning no beverage refills, no condiments, even no silverware smh worse place ever

If I had to pick between Main Event and Dave & Buster’s, I would pick the latter. I liked the variety of table games, arcade games, bars, and whatever else I did while I was there. The games were also reasonably priced and catered to the big kids like myself. I look forward to going back.

Parking is hard to find here after 6pm, since they turn more than half of the parking lot into Valet parking. I refuse to pay for valet parking at a Dave and Busters. Otherwise, if you wanna play games, you should only come on Wednesdays. All games are half price.(This is true for all locations nationwide). If your arcade machine has a problem, don’t linger at the machine waiting for an attendant– you’ll sit there until the place closes. Instead, memorize the game’s name and go immediately to the redemption counter to ask for help. The cashier will radio someone to the machine to fix it.

Every time I go, servers are never around. They tend to disappear for long periods of time so you’re stuck at the table waiting to pay out instead of having fun in the midway. The food is pretty good, but it is kind of pricey if you’re not doing the play and eat combo. My husband and I played a game and won the bonus 500 tickets but the ticket dispenser ran out, so we had to wait for an attendant. Two of them came and they were speaking quietly amongst themselves. One of them did something to the game and when we played it again, it was impossible to get any points. Totally rigged the game!

First of all, this D&B is leaps and bounds better than the one in marquee. We went on a Tuesday night purposely. We wanted to avoid the crowds and kids. We were successful. We were able to play everything we wanted with no wait at all. I got a glass of wine and there was lipstick on my glass. The bartender corrected it with an apology and I even got some extra for the trouble. The floor by the bar was sticky. Not ideal, but otherwise bathrooms were clean(again pretty empty) and everyone was super friendly. I can’t speak for a kid infested night because I would never come when I thought that was possible(you won’t see me here in the summer) but it’s a great weekday date night during the school year(but not half price games Wednesdays. I suspect there are crowds then.)
