The worst customer service ever! They are liars too. Thieves and hope to see this place go under because they don’t deserve to stay in business! The turnover in employees is as often as I change my underwear! The corporate customer service is always answered by an old lady who sounds asker and knows nothing about customer service. One employee says something the next day it’s like what they said was never said and since they’re no longer there, there is no proof. When I left a message for upper management, they never called back. DONOTGIVETHEMYOURBUSINESSYOU’LLBESORRY!

As other reviewers mentioned, this is not the best Darque Tan in the city. Yeah, some of the beds are older, but they are maintained well and cleaned regularly. The employees here are friendly and are more intelligent than in other Darque Tan locations I’ve frequented. This location even has a stand-up Level 3 bed, which is one of my favorites as it provides even tanning in places that are harder to achieve with traditional beds(under arms and inside legs) and the stand-up beds can be difficult to find lately in higher-end tanning salons. The biggest disappointment here is that the only sunless tanning option at this location is the Mystic spray. I really wish they would install a Versa Spa booth as it is known for leaving a more natural tanned appearance than the Mystic spray. In general, though, wait times are minimal at this location and it is close to my home, which are important to me. Also, to echo Jenny K.‘s review, about a month ago I arrived at about 10:40 a.m. on a Sunday(the DT website and Unilocal show Sunday hours from 10a-8p) to find all the lights turned off and no one inside with nothing posted on the door to explain the situation(«And that’s why you always leave a note! /Arrested Development). I didn’t wait around so I have no idea how much longer it took for the employee(s) to arrive and open the salon, but I found this really irritating as I had somewhat planned my morning schedule to accommodate for a tanning session. If this were an isolated incident, I would have thought nothing of it, but since Jenny K. mentioned the exact same situation, I imagine this is a recurring inconvenience. If employee tardiness is a concern at this location, I would suggest Darque Tan adjust their salon hours to better accommodate employees’ schedules, or replace less-than-stellar employees with those who have more accountability. With all that said, I still continue to come to this location because I’m generally easygoing and feel that the positives outweigh the negatives. But, when compared with OTHERDT locations, this one could use some improvement.

This location is super close to my house, however I have to drive out an extra 15 minutes because this location doesn’t have a VersaSpa! One of the few Houston Darque Tan locations that doesn’t. Not sure why. Their beds are old. Go to any other Darque Tan in Houston and you’ll see the Meyerland location gets all the old, crappy beds. You wouldn’t dare catch these beds in River Oaks or Midtown. *sigh*.

To be honest, I would give zero stars if possible. For starters, this is a super small location– and I’m OK with that– but the equipment is OLD. For a small salon, customer service should be great, and it’s anything but. More than once I’ve arrived at this location past opening time to find it closed. This AM at 10:30 it was still closed, and about 4 people were standing outside waiting to tan. I called corporate several times, and was told«someone is on the way» as did the others waiting. I finally called them and asked them to call ME when they get the salon open. Not once did any of the customer service reps apologize for my inconvenience, or offer to make it right. I should have known this location was bad when I couldn’t even find it on Unilocal.Please, don’t waste your hard earned $$ at Darque Tan, their tanning memberships are a joke and their lotions are overpriced.
