I went in today as a new patient. I had Barbie clean my teeth and Dr. Markham checked in with me regarding some additional work I will need. Although I met Dr. Markham briefly, he was very nice and professional. Barbie was amazing, very friendly, made me feel comfortable the whole time. I go back in about 2 weeks.
Additionally, my insurance wont cover everything that I have to get done but the office administrator told me that I could pay for all the work in installments. Hurray!
So glad that I stopped by. I highly recommend Dr. Markham’s practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Markham for 4 years. It is saying something when I have moved further away AND my insurance changed and I still go there.
If you are looking for a fancy office with all the latest gadgets, high end design, tv in your room, text appt reminders, etc this is NOT the place for you.
Here is why i like it:
— Dr. Markham and his staff take fabulous care of you and always have a smile on their face.
— I was not blessed with great dental genes (needing a few crowns and fillings from Dr. Markham) and all the work was high quality and done with minimal pain.
— I needed a root canal and they located a really great endodontist for the next day and made the appt for me.
— They never go looking for things to overcharge or oversell you on. When there is a problem he is honest with you and takes time to explain the treatment plan.
— No wait time in his office or for appt when there is a problem. That is unheard of in healthcare!
After past bad dental experiences at other places, I highly recommend Dr. Markham and his staff.

I have seen Dr. Markham one time and plan in seeing him again soon for more dental work. He is a great man and great dentist. He is also very gentle and has a calming presence; I was very anxious, but he made me feel at ease. His office staff are very comforting and accommodating. They even called around and made an appointment for me with an oral surgeon to see me the same day! Most offices would just give you maybe a name for a referral and send you in your way. I recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I really like Dr. Markham. Besides his office being very convenient to visit, the wait times are practically non existent. The longest I’ve had to wait is maybe five minutes. The office is relaxed and friendly too.
They really helped me the first time I visited. I was new to the area and my insurance was on the cusp of kicking in. I had an emergency. My filling fell out on the verge of Memorial Day weekend and we were going to go out of town. Dr. Markham’s front desk manager got me in right away and told me not to worry about the insurance that they would take care of it. What a reassurance! They got me fixed up and I didn’t have to worry about up front costs or wrestling with my insurance company. Everything went really well. My yearly cleanings are quick, thorough, and painless. I’m really happy with this dentist and the hygienists who work for him. Really good folks. Very professional and friendly.

Dr. Markham has been my dentist of choice since I moved to Houston in 2009. Why, pray tell, do I like him?
1. Convenient location. I can zip down Allen Parkway from downtown in no time and, prior to moving, I could literally walk to my dentist appointment
2. They’re fast. I have yet to wait for more than 5 – 10 minutes for my teeth cleaning when I visit. And even then, they are extremely apologetic.
3. They take my insurance! (BCBS)
4. Dr. Markham himself simply makes cameos, which is fine by me. He comes in, says hi, and seems to take a legitimate interest in his patients. When he found out that I was moving to Colorado, he proceeded to tell me how lucky I was and that he would miss having me as a patient.
So whats the downside? Why not five stars? Parking sucks. The end.
