Salsa lessons, ballroom dance lessons, private dance lessons, wedding dance lessons, beginner dance lessons. My specialty is teaching beginners, and Wedding Dance lessons for couples preparing for that all-​important first dance at your wedding.

I teach at two locations: in the Galleria area at 3300 Chimney Rock, and at my private studio in the Heights. My Heights location is ideal for Wedding couples because we have the place all to ourselves so we don’t have to share the space or the music with anyone else.

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 and teaching since 1998. I take pride in tailoring your lessons to your natural ability, learning style and pace, and your previous experience, if any, in order to maximize your progress.

History

Established in 2009.

I taught for a franchise-​style dance school for almost 12 years. In 2009 I decided I could serve my students better by offering instruction that is customized to their needs and abilities, rather than using the one-​size-​fits-​all approach employed by the big franchise schools, and at a much lower cost, as well. I teach salsa, ballroom, and swing, and I love to teach wedding couples for their First Dance!

Business Owner

Martha started dancing at the age of three, studying ballet, tap, and jazz. She is proficient in both Ballroom and Latin dance styles. Her professional training is ongoing, and currently includes study toward certification by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in the International Ballroom and Latin techniques.
