Soooo good. I think I have my replacement for my van loc cravings. The prices are great. 7 or 8 for one of their rice plates. They have just about every topping you could want on a rice plate: fried egg, egg cake, sausage, shrimp, pork, shredded pork, chicken, and etc. The taste of their egg cake was most acceptable. Note: they are cash only.

Great foods at great prices, so cheap. Tried com tam, banh canh, fried rice –all three were perfect. Service not bad, better than some other places in that area.

Hidden gem in the era, Between among a lot of VNese restaurant in SW this one is the best. Varieties of choices with affordable price. Unlike other VNese restaurant, this place is accept visa and it’s open late too. The«com tam sort of meats/choices» is the best. They can mixed with anything you want and the lunch/dinner combo for 2,4,6 is inexpensive and very good too. The owner and staff is very nice and attentive too. I came here like one or two per month to eat and it was so good.

I came here for dinner based on the high reviews. There were only a few patrons during dinner on a Saturday evening so was kind of skeptics but wanted to give it a try nonetheless. The interior is not anything fancy, just your traditional Asian restaurant but the service was great. Very accommodating and nice. We ordered five dishes and thought they were authentic and reasonably priced. The steamed whole fish was priced $ 11 and I was sure it was probably frozen fish considering the price. Waiter assured me it was fresh so I gave it a try and I was happy I did. It’s a decent size fresh, very moist and flavorful. I have to admit it’s a lot better than most other restaurants. The egg rolls were meaty and looked homemade. The Bo luc lac was very tender and flavorful. I ate all of the veggies that were soaked in the sauce. The Rau muong was ok to me. They cooked it with chao so if one likes chao then this dish would be good. I’m not a big fan of it and they failed to state it in menu or I just overlooked it. The suong rang muoi was my least favorite dish. It was a little overcooked and salty. Some pieces of pork tasted funny reminded me of freezer burned meat. Overall, it’s a place for good authentic home cooked meals. I would definitely return.

This was a decent meal and I think it’s great that they have so many different variations of Com Tam(broken rice). My boyfriend and I both ordered the special which included everything and I have to say everything about the dish was good except the main protein which the grilled pork. I felt like it was a little dry and bland. Other than that everyone else eating around us had some other interesting meals where you get to order family style too. Not the best Com Tam I’ve had but I would come back to try other dishes.

This place only takes cash and that was the downfall because I don’t carry cash around as much anymore. But overall experience here with food and service is good. No complaints just wish they took debit!

Came here for Family Dinner something of 4 courses. Menu says $ 19? Ask if i could switch up the hotpot instead… Did not get it… brount out the 3 Courses– 1. Lotus Shrimp Salad 2. Clay Pot Cat Fish 3. Dried to the bone BBQ chicken(look like the one you can buy at Ranch 99 fast food) 4. The hot pot was Freaking so spicy have to ask for a another bowl to dilute the soup. Hot pot has 4 raw shrimps, 4 slice of squids, 5 thawing out muscles, and 1 raw middle section piece of cat fish. Vegetable included some napa cabbage and pok Choy. Vermicelli and rice were both given. Charged me $ 10 extra for the hot pot. After all the food arrived and me started eating, they brought out the spring rolls for appetite? Quite confused. Tea is $ 2 per person i believe. All the workers here wore rip jeans and flip flop…;( The TV is playing some Crude Comedy real loud the entire time i eat. Feels like a Swap Meet dinning experience more than a restaurant.

Good food and awesome prices! I came with my grandma and ordered the family for 2 meal for only $ 21 with tax included and it comes with 4 dishes! What a steal Goi sen Tom thit(vietnamese pickled salad) 5÷5− really good, balanced with sweet and sour Ga hai nam(chicken) 4÷5− not a fan of this type of chicken but it was good and really soft and tender Canh chua(hot sour soup) — very good, a bit on the sour side but I added sugar and it was perf Ca kho to(carmelized fish) 3÷5− it was ok but I could barely taste any flavor and sweet, it was soft and the texture was nice but the brown sugar in it was burnt so I couldn’t taste the sweetness, it wasn’t horrible, just ok

Good service, good food and great price. Shrimps(Tom Rim); Fish(Ca Kho To) and soup(Canh Chua) are very good. Unlike other Asian restaurant, the waiter really looks out for you and gets you what you wants. On top of that, the cook is extremely flexible. They will break their menu and cook something special according to your request. Definitely a regular visit for us.

This is a nice surprise. Phở Thai Binh Duong next door was closed on Wednesday. We end up at Cm Tm bn tôi. Food is good: cm gà nng, mì vt tim, extra side order for tàu h ky. Every things cook just right seasoning. Service is fast and friendly. Good price. Do not expect a fancy décor. This is kind of homey restaurant. We definitely bring some friends and family back. Next time we should try some dessert: Thch, chè…

Com tam here is excellent. I cannot say it is the best in town but it is still above average. If you are a fan of Bun Mam then this is the right place to go to. You cannot complain much about the pricing here at all since there is no restaurant that offer price as low as this restaurant. So if you are kind of broke and still want to take your date out, i would recommend this place.

Vermicelli veggies with tofu not on the menu, but you can request it! Grilled onions added to the dish sure makes a big difference! Veggie spring rolls with tofu is a great appetizer also not on the menu! The veggies are fresh and the noodles taste delicious! Staff is friendly even though it’s hard to understand their english! Cons: Hole in the wall location! Language barrier! Location not as appealing! Semi vegetarian friendly! Cash only! Hardly any veggie dishes, but if you can get past the language barrier like I did by showing veggie pictures via cell phone I’m pretty sure a lot of items on the menu can be made vegetarian!

This place opens at 8:00am. We had the com tam plate which was almost $ 7. They gave us a clear soup with onions/cilantro and later came the food. Our rice dish was decent. It looks small but it was a filling lunch(we had an early lunch — 10ish AM). Service was okay. We were the second table there. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to be amazed either other than their early operation hours.

Hole in the wall type place. Decoration sux but the food is great! We’ve had multiple rice plates there and my favorites always includes korean bbq meat in it. Price are great! It’s prepared fresh to order! it’s not crowded but don’t be fooled. Check it out you will be surprised!

Awesome place! Tasty, authentic food but cheap, reasonable prices. The waiters were great — the manager was super sweet and gave us complimentary Vietnamese jello desserts. You have to try their lau mam, bo luc lac, banh xeo and their family-styled dishes. Excellent and delicious! Just be sure to bring cash since this place is cash only.

COMCHIENBOLUCLAT! Fried rice with shaking beef! Cheap. Yummy. Tender. This dish comes with a bowl of broth soup, and also the plate itself is presented with a sliced egg with a side salad. The rice is nothing to die for, but the meat is so juicy and tender. LOVELOVELOVEIT! The price is great too!
