I was referred to Collision Plus and Sam via Sewell Cadillac when my CTS-​V was smashed up by a valet driver taking a joy ride.
The experience was smooth – they took care of facilitating a rental car for me and picking it up when my car was done. The work performed was excellent quality – looks like a new car. From the quoting process through delivery, it went far better than I had expected. I was very content and satisfied with the service.
Will definitely come back again.

I have passed by this place a million times. I checked it out because of the reviews. Ashwin is very nice and helpful. He gave me a fair deal to fix the body work of my Jeep. He had it all done in 1 day! They did great work and I am pleased! I recommend this place and I will definitely come back if I ever need anything.

If the eyes were the windows to your soul, then a cracked windshield was the eyesore to my views. It’s extremely important for me to take good storefront photos at the eye level of a sitting car.
Last year, an innocent rock hit my windshield while driving on the crooked Highway 290. It irked me to find a reliable shop to repair the chip. But the hairline grew into a spider web. Ok, it was time to replace my windshield.
With so many businesses out there, I had a hard time to find a reliable auto glass replacement shop. I used Unilocal app to gauge my desirability based on distance and customer satisfactions.
The process of getting it done took some patience. I received my quotes by going to the office (I refused call for quotes, because I want to meet the staff). As my standard procedure — get 3 quotes and compare them. It didn’t take me long to decide, I called them next day. After several arrangements with installers and my schedule, it was done before the week was out.
So, I got my windshield replaced in April. People asked why I waited to write this review. Because I wanted to take the advantage of their 90-​day workmanship guarantee, I am writing a review based on my completed experience. Even till this day, I’m still satisfied.
Here are some tips with windshield replacement:
— Watch the forecast, if you can wait. Hoping the rain doesn’t drop until the 3^rd day, so you can test for leaks.
— If you are sensitive to chemical smells, best to park your car in a garage with windows down for a couple of days. The odor didn’t bother me much. After a couple of hours, I kind of got used to it.
— Get a thorough car wash after a week to really see how well the seal performs. (I went to Bubbles Car Wash across street)
— Make sure to listen to their recommendations — don’t slam the doors and leave a crack before closing the door within 24 hours.

Sam and his people did a awesome job fixing my Jeep, even went above and beyond what was needed.

Did a beautiful job on my car after I backed into a moving vehicle. Paint was perfect and my car looks good as new. Great customer service also! You don’t really get a play by play of the happenings with your car but if you call they will gladly update you on what’s going on

I am very happy with everything at Collision Plus. Someone broke a window on my jeep and they got me in the same day.
The owner himself answered the phone and worked with me on the price, he gave me a significantly lower price than my insurance quoted. The rest of the staff was really friendly; you could tell it was a good family business. The owner joined my husband and me in the waiting room for about a half hour just to talking gave us all sorts of recommendations because we are new to Houston.
It took about and hour and a half to fix which was a little longer than we were told but they kept us entertained and gave us water bottles without having to ask. They let us connect to their wifi and had a TV in the main area.
Overall I would definitely recommend Collision Plus to anyone, they’re really nice and have excellent service! Even if you just need advice on the area, give them a call! Sam is the owner… great guy!

Long story short my car was a recent victim of a hit and run. I came in with a check and estimate done by my insurance provider. They allotted a decent amount of money but strongly urged me to bring my car into one of their approved shops. I declined.
After talking to Sam at Collision, he assured me he’d work with them on raising their estimate since their quote on parts was low. To be honest, I didn’t believe him since I’ve been to auto shops that didn’t bother and just worked within the given amount. Often cutting corners to do so. So I was surprised to receive a call later from my insurance agent informing me they increased the repair funds by an additional $ 750 after a visit to Collision.
Fast forward a week later, I got my car back looking phenomenal! The new paint flawlessly matched the original. The horrible dents and scratches are now a distant memory. Plus the wash and detail made my car look showroom new.
Overall I am extremely pleased with the quality of work and CP’s willingness to harass insurance companies for more money (better them than me!). My only complaint is the lack of communication on the pick up date. I had to call on the estimated completion day to find out if my car was available. They informed me it would be ready in two days and my rental car provider was already aware of this. No problem, but I wished they had been more proactive in contacting me. The same thing happened on the actual pick up day. But I got my car back, so all is forgiven.

Sometimes we go to a doctor and receive an opinion and we don’t want to believe it or hear it and then we come to our senses and do. My experience with Collision Plus Inc. has been the same … they tell you what you don’t want to hear or believe; however, BETTER BELIEVE THEY DO TELL YOU THE TRUTH! No sugar coating but they definitely get to the point and make sure there are no surprises if any at all! The repairs done to my GTR were amazing. They matched the color perfectly and it looks amazing. Honesty and integrity are hard to find in the automotive repair business and these guys have it down to a science. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who has a collision, paintwork, custom work to be done!

Sam respected me and listened to what I wanted. His assessment was detailed and honest. The price was reasonable. They finished the work on time and the job looked great. He even arranged for an employee to give me a ride back to my condo while my car was in his shop. When I was rear ended I went back to Sam. He and his staff stood by their work and offered to be flexible when the responsible parties insurance refused to pay for all the damage.

I visited Collision Plus and another nearby body shop for estimates for a severe rear bumper collision on my 2011 Nissan Altima. At both places I was given the bad news that they would have to remove the bumper to see if there was additional frame damage.
I felt as if both places would have done a proper job (the other place is on Harwin and Fondren) but decided to go with Collision Plus because Sam Patel went above and beyond in his approach to how the business of fixing my car and handling insurance and payment would be done.
I took the car in and though there were some issues along the way, Sam handled them promptly and with great attention. When I say he went above and beyond, I’m understating that he did more and offered more than was expected. There was in fact, additional damage but it wasn’t a surprise because the rear end collision happened on 59-​N.
By the end of the ordeal I was glad to have my car back, and it looked almost as I remember it when I drove away from the dealership with it. Sam even came into the office on his day off to make sure I got my car back on the weekend!
You can’t ask for much more than that, thanks Sam. Hopefully I won’t be seeing you again in the near future, haha!

This review is divided into three sections:
Service:
The overall service was excellent. I was kept informed every step of the way. Always got to talk to the Boss. The discussion had leading-​up to me leaving my vehicle for service was direct — no nonsense, which is the way I like business dealings. The Staff was able to drop me off to pickup my rental from the rental car company, who does that anymore. Very professional. The car was ready when stated. Also, this company was willing to work with insurance issues when they arose.
Quality of Work:
I was pleased with the work completed. The car was washed as well which looked nice. The only gripe/​issue I had was that the plastic where driver puts his feet into the car was left dirty — like someone who might have gotten in the car when they were washing the car? I cleaned this with a rag so there was no big issue but needs to be noted. I am confident that if I had voiced my displeasure to the staff they would have cleaned it but it was quicker for me to do it myself. Again, the quality of work performed on this visit was good and yes I would go back to this company if I needed additional body work on my car.
Price:
The cost of getting this work done was average compared to other companies — yes, I did some comparative shopping before taking it here. This company was not the cheapest but the most recommended (quality of work and decent price).
Would return again.

Okay, so I’m sort of O.C.D. about wanting to make sure someone’s not «getting one over on me,» so when I had to repair my Mazda 2, I obtained 3 different estimates for the repair work.
Although Collision Plus was competitive with the two other places I’d visited, it was the most expensive estimate I’d received. However, Sam’s estimate was also the most thorough, and he actually sat down with me and explained how he would make the repairs, showed me computerized models, etc.
When I told him I wanted to give him the business but that I was hesitant because another place had underbid him, Sam MET the competitor’s price. I turned the car over to him and got it back a week later. It is in PRISTINE condition, and I’m 100% thrilled with his work and professionalism.
Oh, and I had left a personal item in the car and Sam made sure to remove it, put it into the office for safekeeping and return it to me when I got my car.
I have zero hesitation in recommending Collision Plus.

You can trust Mr. Patel to take care of your care whether it is a Bentley or a Buick. He is honest and does excellent work. He has done two jobs for me over past two years. He repaired my son’s Mazda 3 which was damaged on drivers door. Looks fantastic!

Disclaimer — I did not actually end up utilizing this repair service, and my review is based only off my experience coming in and getting an estimate.
Brought my 99 Taurus here for an estimate after a run-​in with a telephone pole (it hit me, I swear!) The dent left a gap between my driver’s side door and window, which was really my only concern.
Firstly, the man I spoke to was friendly, but gave me the creeps by comparing my car to a «woman’s curves». sketchy.
Then came my price quote — $ 1,500. Umm, I don’t think so. I told him straight away that I did not have collision insurance, and I was not looking to get my car looking like new — it’s a 99 Taurus, and I’m a grad student, you do the math.
To be fair, the man broke down the price and explained why he was charging what he was charging. And there were quite a few higher end cars in the shop, so I suppose he was use to charging sums designed to make a car look like new. However, that was not what I was looking for and I believe I made that clear from the beginning.
As for my car, I took it to a place in Alief and the mechanic popped out the dent for free, in 2 seconds, using a suction cup. Did it look perfect? No, but the gap between my door & window was gone, which was really all I cared about in the first place :-)
