One of the top three fro yo places in Houston — Cherry du Pon, Menchies, Swirl.
Place is generally clean and staff is friendly.

I will begin by saying that their fruity yogurts are pretty good. I will continue by saying that everything else wasn’t. The dulce de leche yogurt was, at best, mediocre. The sole employee working seemed to be more intent on spending time with his girlfriend (parked at the back table) then tending to customers, and we were told that we had to leave because they were closing… an hour before their clearly posted closing time. After just one visit to Cherry de Pön, I am Cherry de Gone.

Uugh, why bother? They have a limited number of flavors, toppings were generic (ie. The grocery store version of m&ms ect), and yogurt here is .47 an ounce which is no great deal. Plus, we showed up at 8:45 (they close at 10) to find the sole employee and his friend screwing around. They were obviously hoping for no one would show, and at 9 the employee came over and kicked us out. Spare yourself this sadness and just go to Yogurtland instead.

So sad, went by this place today at 1:00 pm and they were not open. Saw someone inside, knocked and no answer. Called and no answer; not even sure the number is correct. I loved this place — what happened to your business??? You are in primo location and were always packed — started noticing small indicators like machines out of order, not enough help, incorrect hours and uncaring, uncommitted staff. What a shame.

Stopped going and won’t go again even though it’s closer to where we live. Why? Because it’s May 18^th and they still show «winter hours» on the door and close at 9pm and I’ve been turned away at 8:50pm because the employees want to leave early during May «winter hours». Also, several times I’ve been more than one machine is broken. Poor service, uncommitted employees and obviously bad management. It’s sad. This is what kills businesses.

The best frozen yogurt in Houston. They always have a variety of flavors and seem to be cheaper than other yogurt places. Our go to dessert place!

I love this place! They have a good variety of Yogurt flavors, smoothies and fresh toppings. Employees are very friendly and attentive. They do a good job on keeping the place clean, and prices are great as compared to other places. This is definitely my favorite Yougurt spot!

Went in for bubble tea & a smoothie ($ 10). We were told they couldn’t mix two flavors, presumably because they were pre-​mixed. Somehow it still took 10 minutes to make and both the drink and tapioca were tasteless. Blech. Won’t be returning.

A little bit more pricey than Yogurtland, but still yummy! They also seem to swap out their flavors more often.
The consistency of the yogurt is better than that of Swirrl’s, which is more watery. Good selection of toppings and cute interior!

Great place. So friendly and the favors were So different from all the big chains that made this place even stand out more.

This is a cute little yogurt spot in West U that has the best original tart in my opinion compared to all the other local yogurt spots I have been too, it has more of a kick to it. Lots of places to sit but one thing I would have to say is that they need to clean the couch. It’s stained and looking pretty rough :(we will be back :) I love this place!

Normal yogurt store. The yogurt was pretty good and nice décor. Not too crowded and comfortable seating. Nice for a get together/​chilling.
They also have good smoothies and boba which is a definite plus. And specific nutritional details on the wall of all the flavors~
Service is AMAZING!!! :D Every time I go there they don’t give you any funny looks or anything and are very pleasant even if you ask for a lot of samples. When I went there one time, this one girl (I think her name was M… something. M for mango is all I remember: P) recommended a very good smoothie in a very friendly way asking what flavors I like and being considerate of my taste (mAAAAAAngOOO!!! ^O^), and talks to customers constantly all the time! :D Best service ever!

Really nice yogurt spot. Usually less crowded than Menchie’s and appears to be a lot cleaner, too. Love their different flavors. They offer a lot of low fat, no fat, and sugar free options. They also have a really delicious original tart flavor that easily rivals Berripop’s. Good prices for great quality yogurt. I would definitely recommend it if froyo is your thing.

Don’t waste your time. I popped in and tasted yogurt samples — some of the machines were broken without any signs, which was weird. I really liked the almond yogurt. After perusing the menu, I noticed a matcha green tea smoothie. According to the display menu, the ingredients included green tea powder, soy milk, frozen yogurt, and ice. This sounded pretty delicious to me, so I asked the cashier if I could choose which yogurt I put into it (I figured almond frozen yogurt would taste amazing with the matcha).
She said, «We don’t use yogurt for the smoothies, we use ice cream.» — I pointed out to her that the menu says yogurt. She said they use ice cream «because it is creamier.» I told her that was false advertising because it says yogurt on the menu! Another person working there (a high school kid?) chimed in that yogurt makes the drink too liquidy, to which Eric R. answered, «As the customer, we want a drinkable drink» and that it should only matter what the customer wants. If I want what is clearly on the menu, why shouldn’t I get it? At least they were honest about the ice cream, but the whole charade did not make any sense.
Eric R. then asked for the manager, to which the cashier responded, «I AM the manager.» She proceeded to tell him, «Just so you know, this is NOT false advertising. Ice cream and yogurt are the SAME thing, just a different texture.»
So here you have a bunch of BS, false advertising, bait and switch for higher fat ingredients, or the yogurt is not truly non-​fat as advertised and is really ice cream, or just a whole bunch of sketchville. As the customer, if I want an item as it is listed by the ingredients on a huge display menu, and I am told it is not the same ingredients but the same thing anyway, why would I ever go anywhere and order anything on a menu if it is not what I am getting?
Lastly in my rant, if I want to order something that they can easily make and still make money off of me, why won’t they just make it??? UGH!!! Don’t come here because you get bad service and get served fattier ingredients than you ordered! I left before they could take my money.

At 42-​cents per delicious ounce, I’m always willing to pay for dates at Cherry de Pon!
They have a great variety of flavors, both unique and classic: Hawaiian Pineapple, Tropical Punch, Dulce de Leche, Cake Batter, Key Lime, Red Velvet, and more. They also change the flavors weekly, so a froyo run here never gets stale.
My favorites are Tropical Punch and Red Velvet. If love were a froyo flavor, it would be Cherry de Pon’s Red Velvet. It was the best I’ve ever had, with amazing flavor and smooth consistency.
There was also a wide variety of toppings, including the popping boba and fruit jellies. I thought it was neat how they had small chunks of cookie dough and bigger chunks of cookie dough that I thought were actual cookies!
My nearly full cup of froyo and toppings came out to less than $ 3.00. I know I’ve found my new favorite froyo place!

Love the yogurt and the drinks are great. My baby is a picky eater but she loves the yogurt at this place. It’s so great that they change their flavor every week.
