How Carol’s Critter Sitters Got Started

After working as a Vet Tech in a busy Veterinary Hospital I recognized the need for in home pet care.

The kennel section of the practice was incredibly noisy with dogs barking non stop all day.

Many dogs didn’t do well in this atmosphere. The cats and dogs were also exposed to any illness that another animal might bring in.

I believe that pets do best in their own comfortable surroundings and following their regular routines.

That is how Carol’s Critter Sitters got started!

I enjoy the diversity of my clients! I work with dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, exotics and farm animals. I love my job!

I have resided in the Heights for sixteen years and have seen the community grow in leaps and bounds. Many of my friends and neighbors are pet owners and lovers like myself. Currently I live with three dogs, four cats and four birds!

Working in a veterinary hospital with boarding facilities convinced me of the need for quality «in home» pet care.

My goal is to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you are away. I will pamper your pets while you are on vacation or have business out of town. Whatever the situation, you will be worry free while your pets are in my care.

I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of animals. A graduate of the Veterinary Paramedic Program at HCC, I did my internship at the Houston Zoo in the Wortham Primate Section and in The Children’s Zoo. I have worked as a veterinary technician in a local animal hospital, and most recently with farm and exotic animals at a private zoo in Spring Texas.
