History
Established in 2014.
Chef Greg Martin’s menus are inspired from his years of extensive food travel in France, Spain and Italy. His menus focus on appetizers, pizza, light and full entrees as well as extensive dessert selections. The restaurant’s craft beer and cask wine program provides guests with exclusive access to unique tap beverages. Chef Martin personally selected the cask wines and featured wines served by the ¼, ½ or full carafe to match his menus. Patrons can purchase their favorite beer or cask wine selections to enjoy at home.

Business Owner
A native Houstonian and longtime ambassador of the local restaurant community, Chef Greg Martin developed the concept for Bistro Menil over several years of international travel, enjoying outstanding regional food and wine. He has worked with several cooking luminaries, including American icon of French cooking Julia Child. His menus reflect the best of his culinary experiences, featuring food prepared with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. If you want to relive the experience of the sublime pizza you enjoyed in Rome, the duck confit that delighted you in Paris, or the excellent wines sampled while touring Provence, you will certainly understand the care and appreciation he has for his food.
