I went to Bison for some materials I couldnt get at Home Depot for a home project. Being a woman, I expected a lot of eye-rolling, condescending attitudes and «we cant do that» and it was quite the contrary. They were helpful, gracious and the guy in the yard asked twice to clarify what i needed to get it right. I was totally pleased with the experience and the price was much better than the big box home repair stores too. Thanks guys.

They have a wide selection of products at great prices, and the initial customer service was great. Once I needed additional service, however, the «personal touch» was nonexistent.

As a builder, if you don’t micromanage these guys, you will be sorry. (And even then…) I’ve wasted many manhours modifying my building to accommodate their errors because I can’t get what I need in a timely manner. Sure the material is fine quality when you finally get it, if it’s actually what you ordered, but know the phrase «your order is on a truck and I don’t know why you haven’t received it already» means they probably didn’t process your order yet and don’t want to tell you. Communication and trustworthiness is exceedingly poor. However, the delivery staff are good guys.
