Purchased a car, cash. Never got the title. After many months of being lied to, by Charles El, his wife and their staff, and having them call the police on ME because I told another customer, «Beware, because you will be me in about a month from now.» I finally got tired and contacted the DMV, filed a complaint, filed for a bonded title, paid a company $ 140. for the bond, I finally got plates for my car and my bonded title in the mail. It is better than nothing, because that is what Big State gave me after taking my money. I had a car with no title and after the plates expired, it was just sitting in my driveway. His wife is a liar just like he is, and she had the nerve to try to cry when she told me he was in jail. I felt no sympathy for her and told her so. She lied to me just like he did, and had me running back and forth saying, your title will be here next week, in two weeks, in two days, and so on and so forth, so she wasn’t innocent. She lied and told the police I was cursing out the staff, when all I told them was I wasn’t leaving until I got a clear answer about my title. There was only one guy there who was truthful and honest, he was the one covered in tatoos.

If you are currently being «financed» through TITLE MAX with this company please call Title Max corporate office immediately and file a complaint. You are not being «financed» you have a CAR TITLE LOAN. Title Max DOES NOT finance cars they give title loans to private car owners ONLY. If you get a car title loan the money is supposed to go to you and you do as you wish, NOT to the car dealership! If that is the case you can take a car you own and get a loan on it yourself and go buy a car. Do not be deceived! Unless you are aware that Big State Auto put the car in your name ONLY to get this car title loan at Title Max and you voluntarily gave them the money for the car and agreed to pay back Title Max for this CAR TITLE LOAN (not financing as they try to make you believe) if you are not aware of this then this is fraud and needs to be reported to Title Max corporate office.
