Got the California burger. It was ok. The guacamole didn’t taste very good. Definitely not worth the price.

This is a ok stop. The hamburger itself is great. French fries, I did not really care for. The reason for my two star review is for service. We waited literally 20 – 25 minutes for a burger. Probably will not be back

My favorite burger in the city, tho Bernie’s Burger Bus might give me some pause these days. Still, I’ve been eating BP forever and it’s never left me wanting. Great fries too.

After driving home from a hard day work I decided to stop by Becks prime and pick up a potato with chicken I ordered and I went up to the window and I literally sat there for 15 to 20 minutes with three cars behind me waiting for my baked potato. No one had knowledged me no one opened the window, the young lady that was standing at the window the little Hispanic girl she knew I was sitting there she didn’t even have the nerve to open up the window and say ma’am it’s going to be about 10 to 15 minutes… And she saw me waiting in the car. This place use to have great customer service! For the amount of money spent customer service should be top priority, I shouldn’t have to wait 15 – 20 min for my order! At least acknowledge the customer! Her excuse was, well it takes 15 min for a baked potato. Lol and these people want $ 15 an hour??? Lol

Visiting out of towner, first time at Becks Prime, and all this time I’d thought Becks was a fine dining steak and prime rib restaurant! So now I know it’s not. It’s just another fast food burger place with some healthier non burger choices. We came here for dinner and just wanted something simple since we had only just arrived into Houston. So my mother highly recommended this place for their salads… so ok I thought. .let’s try it out. I wanted to keep it healthy so i ordered the Chicken with grilled vegetables… then I noticed sweet potato fries on the sides menu… must try this I thought. Service is kind of slow for a fast food place as we waited some 15 plus minutes for our food, and it wasn’t even busy. …with only 2 or 3 tables occupied. The lady behind the counter noticed we were a bit annoyed at the wait and came over to our table to apologize and explained that there were newbies working the kitchen. The food finally came. My brother had ordered the Mahi Mahi with grilled veggies and it definitely looked good. The portion of grilled chicken served was surprisingly small, given that I thought that everything here was usually Texas sized! Oh well, at least it was healthy… however, I think it’s a bit expensive for this portion size. Then, there’s the sweet potato fries… now, they were good… fresh, hot, and perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and yummy on the inside… so good that we finished the first order in no time and ordered a second. One thing I’ll give this place though is that the servers and other staff were so incredibly polite and friendly! Very good service.

The Bill’s burger is the best burger I’ve ever had along with their chili cheese fries and their ranch dressing is delicious! Love this place and their chocolate malts are amazing! Best burgers in Houston by far!

Our favorite is Bill’s burger! Only negative comment is the bun will get soggy if it sits in the juice if not eaten right away. Therefore best eaten there not from the drive thru.

Utterly disappointing experience. When I go to Beck’s I expect one of their«famous award-winning burgers» but left this location feeling $ 28 poorer and absolutely unsatisfied. First of all, lunch time here is a madhouse. Wait in line wasn’t long(5 min) however, the whole restaurant was packed with people and was stuffy. The cashier who took my order was very rude and did not listen attentively to me when I requested two NO-bun hamburgers, wrapped in lettuce. She was huffing and puffing about my apparent«high maintenance order» which took her a good minute just to type in and didn’t bother to thank me. I(by some miracle) found an empty table and waited with the buzzer I was given. After about 10 minutes of waiting the buzzer went off and I went to get my order only to discover that SURPRISE-SURPRISE it was incorrect. The burgers had no bun, but were NOT wrapped in lettuce. I then waited ANOTHER10 minutes for the food, which to me was ridiculous. Once the correct food came, my burger was lack-luster in taste, and looked like it was a pre-formed patty. The fries(both the sweet potato and regular) were NOT hot and fresh and frankly were bland. I also noticed that they really water down the soft drinks here with the carbonated water to syrup ratio. Maybe they’re trying to save on cost? Maybe it’s because I know how to make a real juicy, medium-cooked, hand-formed patty for $ 3 but aside from that fact I’ve had way better burgers at other Beck’s locations. The Beck’s off 1960 and also the one off of Westheimer are both«OK» in my book, but this location was absolutely disappointing in service, quality and taste of food. Will not be returning for another taste.

Ordered the bacon cheeseburger, fries, and an iced tea. That total was around $ 18. The cheese and the bacon were cold, with the cheese not even melted. I can go to Christians tailgate and get a better burger for cheaper and actually be served by a waitress. Is it the best burger in Houston? No, but it is still better than some of the other fast food burgers.

Great sandwiches and burgers. The best part is they have lots of options for everyone. Good ingredients but slightly pricey.

So I’d been having a cheeseburger craving for quite some time when I finally decided to try out Becks Prime. I ordered just a plain cheeseburger with all the fixings and a side of fries. I was very surprised at how expensive just the lone burger was(around $ 9) and I thought well damn, this better be a good burger. Was it a damn good burger? Ehh not really. It definitely wasn’t a measly McDonald’s patty, which I liked, but it was very greasy and didn’t have much flavor. If I’m going to pay $ 9 for a burger without fries, I want some pizzazz. The fries were good though, salty and fried just right. I would give the burger a 3⁄5 for flavor but the price was what got me. My next cheeseburger craving probably won’t be fixed by Becks Prime

One of my all time favorite burgers. Prominent mesquite flavor and great cut fries. If you’re a fan of mesquite, this local, higher end burger chain will not disappoint. –1 star for price. Unfortunately also one of the highest price points for a hamburger. Basic burger basket with drink will run you near $ 15. So I don’t eat it often. Also wish they had one in growing Katy.

Burger was excellent. Grilled to perfection. Crisp and delicious. Very expensive for a burger visit, though. Good service. Nice patio. Took dog. Want to go back for another burger same day – serious.

Bad bad bad customer service from one of the cashiers!!! I understand how busy lunch time gets BUT it is NOT okay for a cashier to «rush» the customer and be rude! Not only that I understand employees can talk about the customers but they should never ever talk bad about the customer behind their back with another cashier close enough for customer to HEAR!!! How sad and unprofessional is that! People like that shouldn’t even be working at places like that who has a bad attitude towards the customer.

Went and ordered a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a lemonade. It’s decent, but I can think of a few other places easily with great food for this kind of money. I was happier with this meal than the last one, but I feel like a burger/fries/drink should not add up to $ 18-$ 19 unless it’s an amazing meal. I felt like it was just ok. It’s hard putting a «label» on Beck’s Prime, so just try it out yourself.

Becks is good but it’s really expensive. This particular location I really like because of the awesome patio. THEPATIOMAKESTHISPLACE!!! There are better burger joints in Houston, esp for the money, but this is the place to go for burgers if you are in the area. Expect to pay $ 15 – 20 per meal here.

I ordered the chicken sandwich and was a bit disappointed in the lack of flavor. The sweet potato fries are good, but how can you pay this much for a bland sandwich?

Flavorful, amazing burgers, first time ever coming here. But burgers are expensive… But i must say the quality is top notch… So in other words you get for what you pay for. Which happens to be a good thing here./

Burgers! Sweet Potato Fries(worth the up charge)! Shakes! Friendly Service! = Winning Combination Came here for lunch with coworkers, ordered the ribeye sandwich and sweet potato fries. I ate almost every morsel of that food. The fries were banging, there is no other way around that! Loved every fry in that batch, I wanted more. They are really on point. But for the price, I’ma need another handful! As far as the burger, I’m a medium rare lover of steaks and next time I’ll request my steak a little less done. It was definitely good then, but it’s going to be great with that change! My coworkers were feigning like little crack addicts over these shakes. They know good food, I trust them. Have one, if you have room. On to the service; on a previous lunch, a tall AA gentlemen offered my coworker a free steak dinner if she came back with 3 ppl. She did, since my whole team went and he honored his word. I’m talking a menu price of $ 30+ comped. Juicy steak, HUGE stuffed baked potato and a salad. Now that’s what I’m talkin bout! ooohh those fries are calling me… Avoid the TKO burger, it’s messy and for some reason, the shredded cheese doesn’t even melt… definitely not worth $ 10
