B&B Main St. Auto Storage

I’ve never written a review on Unilocal but this is the first. This is the worst place I’ve ever been to. The two men where rude from the beginning to the end. My car had got towed out of my apartments at 8:00 at night but I get there and they’ve charged me for two full days. Since I didn’t understand I asked them to plead explain it to me and they act like they couldn’t explain anything. I work hard for my money so to be disrespected for wanting to know where my money went was totally beyond me. Long story short I needed up calling the police and I will pursue further action to get this business shut down. This place is garbage the people that work there are garbage and I hope no one has to go through what I went through.

Worst experience in my life. As someone who is never really been towed, its amazing that this business is in business. Lack of communication, blatant misinformation, and a government contract is all you need apparently. Called company, was told office would be open at 8:30am. Showed up at 8:20am. Called at 8:35am, «We don’t open until 9am, no one would say that.» 9:05am, finally open. Still a pain, but finished.

I made a Unilocal account just to make this review because I was so disgusted with the people who work here. First of all they were unprofessional and showed no respect from start to finish and talked to you like you are a child. I am a health care provider and I would never treat my patients in that manner. When you go there to make a payment to retrieve your car, their credit card machine is «broken» even though there is a sign saying they MUST accept credit cards. And judging from the people I talked to in the same situation as me and the reviews, it seems like their machine is always «broken». There’s also a sign that says they don’t have change so we must bring the exact amount due. Which is interesting since it seems they only accept cash. They must think we are all uneducated and we don’t know they are trying to make a quick buck and not pay the fee every time someone pays with a credit card and they are hoping we will come back later so they can increase their storage fee. Since I could not pay with card I came back with exact cash in ones and pennies. Of course they weren’t happy and said the bank didn’t accept pennies … Do they really think I am stupid? I told them yes they do and they responded, «I don’t care, I’m not counting over 2000 pennies.» The police was called but truthfully I had already spent most of the day dealing with these degrading people and didn’t want to wait for the police so I gave them the cash, but I will report them.
This seems to be a trend and I can’t believe they are still in business and all the numbers and website they have posted curiously enough do not work. So here is an easy link to file a quick complaint. Please leave a complaint so it shows this is an ongoing problem. We work too hard for our money to give it to a business that shows no ethics or morals.

Don’t even deserve 1 star /​worst people on earth /​heartless/​stay away from this company

My friend and my car where both towed on 3÷27÷2015 and taken to B&B Storage. We took a taxi there and were dropped off. Alfredo was working the window and was very rude right from the beginning… raising his voice and treating us like we were stupid because we both stepped in the gate at the same time. He knew our taxi had driven away when he informed us that my car would be $ 225.80 and he was accepting cash only because his machine was down until morning. The signs clearly stated on the building
(which we took pictures of) that they «must» accept credit cards… when I told him I didn’t have cash and asked him what to do… he just shut the window in my face. Eventually, he told me there was an ATM about a mile away. I have just broken my foot and I am wearing a walking cast and I am not supposed to put weight on my foot. I told him this and he said it wasn’t his problem. My son and daughter walked to the ATM and back, while I stood on my foot and the cold and he watched out the window. It took about an hour for them to get back. Once back with the money, my friend went first… he put his money up through the window assuming there was a ledge because that is how it looks from standing down below and the money dropped to the ground and Alfredo went crazy mad yelling and screaming. He demanded my friend to come inside… we had no idea what he was going to do to him and it was scary. He made him get down on the ground and pick up the money. He then informed us that he had no change… we each owed $ 225.80 and got $ 240.00 out of the ATM machine. Alfredo kept the rest but wrote us both receipts that he received $ 225.80. Then he buzzed me through the door alone and told me to walk to the farthest possible spot on the lot and get my car. I asked him to please let me get my son and he said no… if I wanted my car I had to walk to get it… I kept reminding him that my foot was broken. Finally he asked me what was in my car that I was going to accuse him of stealing… which is why he thought I wanted him to go get my car. I assured him there was nothing and I wasn’t going to accuse him. I finally got my car and so did my friend… but he continued to he rude until the very end. I also do not understand why we were each charged for storage when we beat our cars to the storage and watched them come in. Terrible experience!!!

Worst company ever. Ass holes on the phone. Hang up on you if you ask them to repeat themselves. People are not in the office to have you pick up your car when you show up so, you have to sit and wait an hour in the parking lot. They over charge for having a car for sit there for for a few minutes. Unorganized, unprofessional, disrespectful losers that have nothing going on for their lives except sucking the tit of people who accidentally park in an unmarked tow zone. Also call ahead to pretend you’re there so these pricks won’t make you sit in their «parking lot» made of mud.

I called to see if I could get my items out of my car that was in their lot. My wife had called right before me and didnt understand what they had said. So when I was on the phone with the lady my wife talked to a man took the phone from her and was disrespectful right from the beginning. I didnt have the money to get the car out of storage at the time so I asked what I needed to do and the man rudely told me,” Im not gonna hold your hand, I’m not your parents, you need to put on your big boy pants and figure it out.” I’m a 32 year old man, there is absolutely no reason I should be talked to like this, EVER! When I asked for his name he mumbled and then I asked for his full name and he told me he wouldnt tell me. I called back to find out the owners name and they told me they were to busy to do so even tho I was the person they were dealing with. Seriously offended by the entire situation. Dont expect to be helped in any way if you have to deal with these people.
