Customers Beware I’m very disappointed at the lady owner’s dishonesty. I had 5 stars for this place in May 2015 when I was there for the first time for their super friendly sevice. However, there seem be always a confusion about the price she charged me and didn’t look into over the time. Anyways, on 1÷18÷2016 I didn’t have enough cash and decided to use my credit card for two to-​go orders of combination fried rice ($ 6.35). She told me the total is $ 14.29. So, I signed for the $ 14.29 total amount on the credit card. I normally don’t check my credit card charge online. Today, I just did. OMG… I was charged $ 15.29??? She added $ 1. ??? Also, $ 6.35×2 orders + Tax = $ 13.75. Why is it $ 14.29??? I feel this is not just an honest mistake and must happen quite often. I’m very disappointed that I ever let her hold my baby. I lost trust in the business and owners. I will never go there again.

B&B Donuts is a classic, mom-​and-​pop donut shop. While I generally like the trendy new gourmet donut shops that are popping up, it’s nice to have an old fashioned donut shop. Early in the morning, the donut holes are still a little warm, and the other flavors, such as chocolate with sprinkles are delish. And the $ cheap price is awesome. Christy’s is still my favorite old fashioned donut shop, but B&B is great as well.

The best donut shop in Houston! Very fresh and traditional donuts made Cambodian style. The donuts taste wonderful and melt in your mouth! The couple that manage B&B are the most kindest and hardworking people and love their customers! The lunch menu is also a winner, the cheeseburger and fried rice is a must have! :-)

This is my ace in the hole for donuts when I bring them to the office for my colleagues. Awesome donuts, great selection, and great service. But you have to get there early because they sell out quickly! Always fresh, warm, and soft. I highly recommend B&B Donuts.

The eldest lady who I believe manages B&B Donut Is very kind and considerate. I am timid when it comes to explaining my soft food diet to people. Being a local, with a daughter who loves donuts holes in moderation, or purchasing for her school.
Always give her a donut hole or two when we walk in to eat.
I made an effort to explain in simplest terms (language barer) possible that it causes pain (myofascial/​headaches) to chew tough, crispy, or hard textures… I am on a soft food diet. She responded, «Oh, this is all the apple fritters we have». I replied, «The softest one, please!!!» :) she pulled the whole tray out and found one!
By the way Apple Fritters are my vice. Christy’s donuts shop has softer fitters at a 25−30more cents cost, further distance, and my loyalty is with B&B as they take care of me :)

I stopped in on a friday morning to pickup some donuts for my team. They dont has as many options as far as flavors go. I went with a few chocolate frosted, glazed, donut holes, and bavarian cream.
I have to say their glaze has a distinct taste, almost a hint of vanilla. They were delicious, and didnt taste oily like some donuts do.
Ill be going back!

It’s your typical family owned donut shop. That by no means is a criticism of the restaurant. I find the family owned shops are light years away from the large chains.
I brought customers donuts and they disappeared during my visit.
Their donuts taste as good as they look but the classic glazed melts in your mouth.

Never had nicer service. The lady is always super super nice. That’s why I keep coming back… The food is yummy too

This is my favorite donut shop in Houston. Croissant and bacon biscuit are really good. They also have delicious shrimp chicken fried rice. The staff is very friendly.

I have missed this place. I used to come here alot when I worked in midtown. Besides delicious donuts, they also have kolaches and pastries. This is a small shop, just a few doors down from Subway. Besides donut, they have croissants and super yummy kolaches. The small kolaches are $ 1.00 each and the larger ones are $ 1.79 each and they are super fresh. The bread is quite taste and soft. The small, quaint shop is owned by a Filipino couple/​family.
I would compare this place to the Kolache Factory meets Shipley Donuts, except their food is better, fresher and less expensive. They open until 6pm I believe and they have banh mi (vietnamese sandwiches), fried rice, egg rolls and even a cheeseburger on their lunch menu and you can escape full for under $ 5.00. There are a few tables in their shop if you want to eat in.

Best regular glazed donuts ever I swear! Everyone here is so nice and sweet and hands our little girl donut holes as soon as we walk in! Definitely a neighborhood gem and way better than Christy’s

Was in the area and just wanted some donuts.
It was after 12 so we were looking for pretty much anything open besides shipleys,
we got 2 dozen donut holes and they were covered in wet glaze, had awesome texture and were extremely good.
They man and woman who I am guessing are the owners are really really nice.
Can’t wait to go back and try one of those burgers! Someone was ordering one and when it came out it looked way to good to be true!

Donuts were good and reasonably priced. They have cake and yeast donuts. Go early for more variety. There is parking in the attached parking lot. We tried a few varieties. They were all good. I would pick Bakery Donuts over B&B, because I thought the cake donuts were tastier.

How did I miss reviewing this Houstonian gem? Seriously, I love B&B, and my love brought me to the point where I craved for their donuts. My visits have reached the point where even the employees recognize me now — oh, for the love of donuts. Personally, I am not a fan of overly sweet donuts, and I think their glazed has just the right amount of sweetness. But let’s talk about that dough! It is so light but the outside has that slight «crunch» or matte-​ness when you bite into it. To me, it’s not all soggy and still keeps the integrity of the dough. And you must try the blueberry cake! Mama mia, my taste buds were having a dance party when I first tried it. You can’t go wrong with the glazed and blueberry.
But, there is another reason why I love this place. It’s more than just a donut shop with their lunch options. I kid you not when I say that the fried rice is pretty damn good (fried rice in a donut shop? Yes you’re reading this right). Now, I do have to be fair and say it isn’t Cantonese style with the wok-​hei and all. I like how the rice has this tomato sauce flavor, and the egg is not overly cooked. I only tried the shrimp fried rice, and they don’t skimp on that. Add a little Sriracha, and you have yourself a satisfying lunch. If you are craving for authentic fried rice, obviously, don’t come here. But if you’re up for something different at a donut shop, try their take on the fried rice. I still love this place for the donuts but stumbling upon the fried rice was also a plus.

One of the better kept secrets in the Montrose area. Believe it when you experience how far a few dollars can go stretching breakfast into lunch!
The people there are pretty great. Like there awesome attitudes flows through into the kolaches, croissant sandwiches and donuts. The service is pretty quick as the lines move with a great sense of urgency. The feature is especially favorable since many of the people on the way to work have that «I woke up late and need to be at work in 10 minutes» rush.
Their lunch is funny. Funny because they throw in their Asian cuisine in the mix. Fried rice or a bacon cheeseburger on a croissant bun? Weird but it works!!!
If you are in the Montrose or Midtown area do give this a try. It’s worth it.

The blueberry donut is perfect not too sweet and a good portion. Usually places make it too sweet and thick I can barely finish it.
B&B has a unique taste to it ! Especially the mini donut holes omg! So soft n melts in your mouth ! Also had a different sweetness to it. It was a mini bite of heaven ! The mini kolache was good as well!

Clean. Inviting. Lots of choices from donut options to breakfast sandwich type treats and hot or cold bevs.
I went for an Apple Fritter since everyone raved.
It was delicious and flavorful.
Curious combo of crispy and soft.
Greasy and thick though. Greasy… but I still thought it was a sinful must have.
The apple chunks were chewy and made me feel less guilty to be eating a «fried» breakfast.
Blueberry cake donut… because of the reviews was tasty AFTER work. (Spreading my calories and heavy eating)
They forgot my chocolate glazed which is ALWAYS my favorite because there’s CHOCOLATE!
I chalked it up to an omen…

I picked up one glazed donut, which to my surprise… had no hole. It was weird at first, but then I realized that I liked it. Does that make me weird?
