Atlas Auto Glass

So after 4 years of living in DC where everyone on my block has had a window smashed in at leas once, I got mine smashed in after 2 months dwelling in Houston. Because it rains here so much, I needed to get it repaired and looking forward to an insurance claim on a weekend plus having things to do wasn’t gonna cut it. I took the Civic here on a weekend, they located the glass i wanted and had it prepared in under an hour and for less than 150bux. The staff was on point with all questions, they run windshield specials (particularly when you drive a truck… who can surpass $ 149 enclosed setup?) and it is pretty suitable place shrewd.

The nightmare with this company began when I wanted to replace the windshield on a car that I wanted to sell. It was a 99 corvette and I knew that most buyers would expect the windshield to be crack free even if the cracks did not obstruct the drivers vision. They replaced the windshield and all was fine until I noticed that there was a leak on the passenger side and took it back to have them look at it. It was returned a few weeks later with assurances that it would not leak anymore. The condition of my car was appalling when it was returned the second time with a cut in the leather on the once pristine passenger seat, dum dum /​window putty in places on the cars paint and generally in a filthy overall condition. In a very short time a crack appeared in the new windshield on the passenger side coming from under the trim and was clearly caused by unprofessional practices during the removal /​reinstallation of the windshield while trying to deal with the leak. I sought out a few reputable places that might be able to fix the crack since I did not want to return to Atlas, but no one could fix it so I took it back and made it clear I was not going to pay a dime for them to fix their mistake.
A few weeks later I got the car back and the owner, who is a very nice guy, did not charge me but the car was in even worse shape than the 2^nd time I got it back. When I got in the car to drive home I noticed no rearview mirror, no big deal I found it in the back of the car I just put it on myself, but after closer inspection I found more spots of putty on the car, an obvious gash in the paint where some clown slipped with a trim knife, wiper motor not correctly set, which I fixed, when they put wiper blades and trim back together and once again a filthy car like I have never experienced from any other place. I again felt like my car had been vandalized! A condition that is so bad that it is hard to believe that it was not on purpose. I don’t think it was on purpose but I can’t fathom how anyone thought that the mess they made was fit to return to a customer.
After all of that the car still leaked and there was a hole the size of a quarter in the window gasket on the passenger side and due to its existence there is no way they could have tested that the car was leak free when they worked on it the third time!
A new low for auto work and probably a record that will never be topped!

I brought my vehicle in for a paint job from a fender bender. Everything went smoothly and I was sure that this would be a great place. When they brought my car around for me to pick up I noticed a large chip out of my driver side rear quarter panel.
They immediately denied it and said it was there before i brought it in. He tried telling me that the rust was over a week old. This is Houston and rust takes less than a day to form on anything here.
After going back and forth he said he would put some touchup on it.
I will honestly never go back because of that interaction. Make sure to take a picture of your vehicle before taking it to this place.

I walked into this establishment knowing that I would receive excellent service, as well as excellent workmanship … considering the reviews that I’d read. Sadly, I was wrong. I am a woman that knows a great deal about many things. Yes, I even know how to properly repair a cracked windshield. Yet, I allowed Atlas the opportunity to WOW me with their work. Although the windshield was repaired, so to speak, it was not repaired properly! The technician took a shortcut and simply injected the resin directly into the crack. I can still see the crack and the knick that was created at impact … courtesy of that tiny rock. Indeed … it’s still present and can be seen. Nonetheless, I still paid the $ 39. The kicker though … my vehicle was moved and parked in an area with plenty of broken glass on the ground!!! Why would anyone, a technician or otherwise, do this? Why risk puncturing a customer’s tire? Would I use this company again … NO! Carelessness of my personal property is not ok with me.

DO NOT GO TO ATLAS. I brought in my vehicle for a back windshield repair due to vandalism. They installed the glass but SCRATCHED THE BRAKE LIGHT LEAVING A NICKEL-​SIZE INDENTION during the installation! I have 3 eye witnesses (two of which are SafeLite employees) who could attest that the damage to the brake light not being there prior to Atlas’s installation. Of course they refused responsibility for the damage and blamed it on the vandalism. Do not go there!

They were able to replace my windshield in just a couple of hours. The work was very professionally done and I can’t tell that it has been replaced. The price was great and the service was excellent.

Great company. Repaired broken rear passenger side window. Came to Pearland shortly after my call. Technician had wrong window. He made a call and sent another guy was sent out with the right window. Both technicians were pleasant. Price was more than $ 100 less than the estimate from the car dealership. I would certainly deal with them again.

Stopped by without an appointment during my lunch hour to get my windshield replaced. Quoted me a reasonable rate, had the part in stock and was able to have me out of there in about an hour.

Good work at a fair price. Owner is onsite and answers the phone which is always ringing — good sign. Go during lunch and you can eat at the Texmex place across the street and watch your windshield being replaced.

This place was amazing. Fast, friendly, cheap. I’m the type of person who does my research and this place was everything I’ve read and more. I had my windshield replaced. They took good care of my car and it looks great. Would definitely recommend

Excellent service! My windshield had two big cracks that were getting bigger, so I decided it was time to replace it. I called and/​or e-​mailed several of the higher-​rated auto glass companies I could find on Unilocal and on Google and requested quotes and Atlas came in with the best price. I called to make an appointment and they said it wasn’t necessary, but to just call the morning I wanted to have it done so they could make sure and have the windshield in stock.
It took about an hour and a half total and I drove out with a nice new windshield with a lifetime warranty if I ever notice any leaks. (I don’t think there are any. I drove around in the rain for about an hour after I left Atlas!)

My husband and I have both had windshield replacements done here and I wouldn’t bother with anyone else. They are courteous on the phone as well as in person, and they do quality work. They have great shop hours but they can come to you if you need window repairs while you’re at work. Plus they’re a local business, and who doesn’t like to support that?

Best deal in town. Crazy quick and friendly service. If you like to run into things with you car, these are your kind of people.

After making the requisite visits around town to compare prices on a small detailing job, I stopped here LAST because given the location, I oh so incorrectly assumed it would be on the pricier side.
Was pleasantly surprised to find the cost was much less or even just around the quotes I found even outside of that comfortable bubble, AKA The Loop.
Reading through the rest of these reviews I found myself agreeing with the positive reviews 100%. Nima and the crew were friendly, I got the car back super fast and left without the doubt that things could have gone better.

Several months ago I had a windshield replaced, some minor rust repair, and a partial paint job all at one time. It was a great experience as far as customer service goes. They even replaced my rear cab glass at no charge. The paint work was not perfect at first but they re-​did it at no charge, so as long as the work stands the test of time I will give them five stars!

My husband now has also gone to Atlas to get his windshield repaired and also had a great experience. His car was done in the estimated time frame (1 – 1.5 hours, if I remember correctly) and when he tried to use an online dea, they even told him there was a better coupon that would save him even more money! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely astounding service. I took my car here after I noticed the bottom section was falling off a bit due to some missing screws (a car body issue). I took my car here, and they fixed it up within 5 minutes, and didn’t charge me a penny! Not even for the screws they replaced. I noticed a small dent on my windshield, and asked if it was a chip and needed to be replaced. Instead of ripping me off like some places, they turned me away and said my windshield looked fine. The owner was also very kind and polite.
The only tip I would give is to not go in the early morning (~7:30 when they open) because their mechanics seem to arrive about 1.5 hours later. 9 am seems to be a good bet!

I went online to get a quote to replace my windshield and got an email back within the next hour with the price plus tax. I went in on a Friday afternoon to get it replaced with no appointment. It took about 2 ½ hours, which they had told me when I dropped it off (it looked very busy that particular day), but I live close by so it wasn’t an issue as I just walked back home, but they did offer me a ride back to my house when I dropped it off which I thought was very nice. My windshield looks perfect and no leaks when there was rain the following Monday. Would definitely recommend Altas to friends, especially since they have a lifetime warranty for the new windshield and they even vacuumed my car’s interior. I also used the Unilocal coupon so it saved me another $ 15. Great customer service and great quality repairs.

Great service! I had a crack in my windshield and called my insurance that supposedly covers it but charges a $ 250 deductible regardless… so I called Atlas and they immediately said they’d take care of it and for less than my deductible.
I brought it in, it was done in an hour and he was super friendly as well. Definitely recommend them!

Fairly priced, super polite, and efficient (it took ~45 min to replace my passenger window)! They even vacuumed out the bits of broken glass that had remained inside my car.

I had a terrific experience with Atlas. Excellent price and top-​notch service, and they provide a lifetime warranty on the windshield replacement in case there’s ever any leaks or problems. I walked in the door without an appointment, and walked out about an hour later with a new windshield. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they replaced my windshield and moved all of the stickers for my old windshield on to the new one without issue. Can’t recommend them enough!

Just got my windshield replaced today on my camry.. Called in this morning and Nima said he could get techs out by 12 today. The two guys showed up (mobile service) at 1230 and finished the job in 20! So efficient, i was thinking it’d be closer to an hour! But they were friendly, cleaned up the old seal and new one, cleaned the new windshield after installing it too. I also offered them water and a can of coke. It was $ 189 total with some discounts so I’m happy. There’s a 24 hr wait on that seal and no car washing for two days. Also there’s a lifetime warranty on it. So hopefully there won’t be any leaks in it! Overall, great experience and knowledge! Recommended!

I called the major advertiser of windshield replacement and the one that Geico uses and they wanted over $ 500. I called Atlas and they came out the same day and did an excellent job of replacing my windshield on my Volvo. They spend a lot of time cleaning up the old seal. Attention to detail. I hope I never need to use them again, but if another vandal in Spring Shadows breaks my windshield, I’ll use them again.

I had a busted window. They replaced it in 2 hours. They exceeded my expectations. I didn’t expect to receive tinted glass for the price I was quoted. I did, plus they vacuumed up all the broken glass in my truck. These guys are good!

These guys are honest. I had a very small crease in my hood, maybe about 2 inches in length.
I got 6 quotes from other shops prices ranging from $ 350 – 6,000. Yes. $ 6,000. These guys gave me a quick, up front honest quote and it only took them two days to complete the work.
I highly recommend this place if you are female, they aren’t going to see dollar signs when you walk through the door ladies. They are going to be professional, honest and accurate.
Also, the guarantee all their work! I love it. They are my guys now. They have all of my future business.
