Best mechanic in Houston. Recently took my car to Arthur’s shop for a weird noise. His price was lower than a competitor. Very trustworthy and personable shop… Would recommend to anybody in Houston.

Wherever I’ve lived, I’ve always wanted to have a good, independent auto mechanic I can trust. Arthur’s is exactly that place for me in Houston. I’ve taken my vehicles there off and on for nearly 15 years and have always had good work done at a fair price. Too many auto service places will take any opportunity to gouge an unwitting customer, but you need not fear that happening here because he will always treat you right.
For a most recent example I got a quote of $ 680 for replacing engine mounts on my vehicle from a repair shop near my office whom I have a favorable opinion of. But this quote just felt a bit high to me, so I called Arthur to make an appointment. (Since I live in Pearland now, his shop is no longer the most convenient, but I was able to make it work this time.) When I went to pick up my car, I was very pleased that he charged me well below half of the other quote and it was immediately evident to me that the problem was fixed.
So if you’re anywhere near the Meyerland area and need auto service, I will recommend Arthur’s without hesitation.
