Specialties
At Arden’s we specialize in fine art and conservation framing. Over our 56 years of business, we have seen just about everything and are always happy to take on a new or unique project. Some of the products and services we provide include water-gilded and finished-corner 22 karat frames, shadow boxes, museum glass, all archival materials including acid-free mats, antique prints, local art, and ready made photo frames.
Arden’s currently represents the works of Ted Cowart, Ken Elliott, Sunny McKinnon, Gary Hernandez, Nancy Ruby and Laurent Schkolnyk. The gallery also offers a selection of fine European oils and graphics.
Arden’s has been a dealer of authentic antique prints since the early 1970s. Over the years, we have built up our collection to include over 3000 different engravings and lithographs in a wide variety of subjects. We have items to add to your collection or to fill a decorating need and our experienced design staff can help you to choose the perfect frame for your print.
History
Established in 1959.
Arden’s Picture Framing was established in 1959 by Arden Keith Hoak. In 1979 Mr. Arden’s son, Keith, took over the business. Today, two of Mr. Arden’s children and one granddaughter still work in the business, following in his legacy of hard work, the value of personal relationships, and dedication to quality.
In 2001, Arden’s Picturing Framing moved from Richmond Ave. to it’s current location at West Alabama and Dunlavy and opened an adjoining art gallery, becoming, as it is known today, Arden’s Picture Framing and Gallery.
